Watching MOTD. Is Dominic Calvert-Lewin currently the worst “sick note” player. Man is never fit. Makes Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lallana look like Inaki Williams.
I'm a twit
He must have a compromised immune system.
Everton surviving this season is a disgrace. The days of needing 40 points are apparently long gone. The bottom 6 all have less than 40 and there's teams qualifying for European football with only 18 extra points.
Are we about to become a farmers league with a few super clubs?
I knew that that Bournemouth ground was shit, but I didn't know it was barely eleven-thousand. I thought it was more like eighteen. Throw them out of the league.
That decision to rule out Gakpo's goal would be baffling if it wasn't so perfectly emblematic of how VARs all too often get obsessed with some minor nuance of a law whilst missing the wider context of the game. Konsa was clearly trying to both block and play the ball, probably not in the way it ended up going, but that doesn't make it unintentional. I'm not even sure why that rule exists, but if that is the threshold for unintentional then god hep us.
It was the same thing earlier in the season in [I think] the game between City and Everton, when one of the Everton defenders made an excellent diving save and the VAR was so obsessed with whether the arm was in a natural position as the player fell to the ground that he missed the fact that it was a full-on save and was clearly a handball/penalty. The arm was in a perfectly natural position, if you are trying to fall on a ball and stop it with your hand. No penalty.
Keita and Chamberlain missing out on the last game at home yesterday with injury was a fitting legacy for both.
Chamberlain I can forgive, he played 42 games [basically 30% of his appearances over his 6 years] that first season before dying against Roma, but Keita's clocking in 129 in all comps [out of what must be over 300 possible] without ever seemingly having been badly injured is ridiculous. What a sack of shite. Thiago's disappeared off the face of the planet too [probably not a bad thing], no wonder Liverpool's midfield is a bit ropey, seems to be a major signing blind spot zone. You'd think it would be easier to find players who can 'just run'.
I think Oxlade explains the latter part of that. Before he arrived it was very much the story of industrious but technically a bit meh midfielders. Emre Can, Milner, Henderson and Lucas.
The signing of Oxlade to play in the midfield three showed him you could fit a more technically gifted, but less industrious player in there full time. I'm sure he would have tried Coutinho there more but this was around the time he was trying to slither away. Lallana was great in the role too, but was rarely fully fit.
The injury ruined him, but since he's tried to replace him with something similar. Keita, Thiago and Harvey Elliott are all attempts to get that kind of player in there. As the club has been busy trying to find that player, they've let slip the other positions where you do need the guys who run all game.
Whether the upturn in Trent has affected THE PLAN in any way remains to be seen, but leaving a gaping hole at RB in every game is not the way.
Hendo at RB is the way, if only to stop his terrorism in midfield.
Sam Allardyce trying to give the fourth official Ł5![]()
Mr West Ham prancing around with no shame whatsoever.
Is it just me or is Enciso rubbish?
I'm a twit
Did I see some mad stat earlier that Brighton have had more goals from teenagers than the rest of the league combined?
Not that many overall tbf. Feels like that's gone down from 10 years ago.
BBC had Brighton on 8 earlier, and now 9 I guess, although they had the rest of the league having 9 as well.
Whatever happens, we deserve to go down.
That’s a great goal if it stands.
Going to be a rogue foot playing him on there.
At least we don't have to pay fat Sam Ł2.5m...
Don't think any of our lot have hit double figures in the EPL since Keane.
Someone being able to stay up on 33/34 points is hilarious
Maybe they should just relegate everybody with less than forty points, promote anybody with more than seventy-five, and have two-legged play-offs for any oddments (i.e. somebody on thirty-nine points and somebody on seventy).
Frank Lampard is a genuine retard. Blocks Chukwuemeka from going to u20 World Cup just to bench him again for Loftus Cheek who is joining Milan in the summer. Madueke and Mudryk benched as well - benching guys who are meant to be getting blooded in for next season as he has in all his games.
I know he was shite but I didn’t think he’d be that stupid.
Second relegation on Sam ‘I’ve never been relegated’ Allardyces books. Awful defending.
Just the same as the other two chancing cunts. Players are shite tbf.
City are gonna score about 5 here with a reserve team. Lampard is class
He really is new levels. But the greasy cunt will still have a load of gammons defend him on twitter![]()
Dortmund doing their best to bottle Bayern/Leipzig's gift. Should have it with that red card, nevertheless.
As if they're going to clear the pitch by just asking nicely.
If they're not cracking skulls, they're not clearing it.
Gateshead lost the FA Trophy final. Damn and blast.
A lot of bald folk in this Man City staff
Stunning bit of defending from Valencia against Vinny, wait for the nocontext vid![]()
Now he's lost his head and is pointing out a Valencia fan for a bit of harmless monkey chanting or something.
Sent off in 98thmin for retaliation for being put into a headlockHe surely can't stayin Spain. Swap for Kylian?
Spanish players really are the worse for that fake tough guy shit. Mr fucking big guy until they feel any contact then they are on the floor like a little bitch.

The lack of effort and fight out there is unbelievable.
I saw Ayling's post match interview and he just outright admitted none of them are anywhere near as fit as they were a couple of years ago and it's hurting us. And that's the captain (effectively anyway, Cooper isn't about enough) saying that.
It needs gutting down to the fucking roots. It's so frustrating to just see us destroy the entire thing in the space of a couple of seasons. But I feel like there are not many parts of the whole setup that are salvageable at this point.
just looked at bundesliga on oddschecker, why are Dortmund gigantic favourites despite only being 2 points clear?
It's an 18-team league, champ.
Because there's just one game left.
Probably still a fair question, mind.
Any kind of Klopp non-aggression pact between Dortmund and Mainz?
ahha oh lol, my fault for my EPL normative ignorance of non-38 game leagues.
Seeing as Newcastle are all but qualified for the champions league they should really be doing their owners a political favour and sinking IRANIAN OWNED Everton tonight.
I'm not sure Leicester could win even if Newcastle let them.
Certainly not when they drop Maddison and Barnes.![]()
