Game Night is an enjoyable watch which is rare to say for such films.
Everything Everywhere All at Once is pretty fantastic. It looks like it was fun to shoot.

I watched them both the other night and well, they're both a bit shit. The second is staggeringly bad for an hour, where it just isn't a film.
Managed to tick off The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Still no idea how I feel about it. It seemed in parts to try way too hard to be in on its own joke, but I could also easily see Cage being like that.
I thought it was great fun.
All Quiet On The Western Front is a struggle in every sense of the word.
It's very much so in places too. That's why I've no idea how to feel. Props to Cage for buying into the meme of himself.
I watched Mid90s, written and directed by Jonah Hill. It’s a bit of a Kids rip off but enjoyable nonetheless.

I watched the Luther film last night, dearie me.
Awful isn’t it.
It's so, so bad.
It was immediately obvious that it was absolute nonsense, but somehow I was still enjoying it for 80 or so minutes, but the last 40 minutes (+ the cumulative weight of what had gone before) made it genuinely one of the worst films I can remember seeing.
The Andy Serkis make up and performance should be an actual crime.
In better news, the Tetris film on Apple TV is pretty good. A bit too much comedy Russian espionage etc. at times, but other than that it's excellent.
Andy Serkis' hair is the best thing about the Luther film. Possibly the only good thing.

Elba's coat is great but I've seen loads of that and sadly it was being carted about by a Luther who wasn't quite the same as TV Luther which sullied the whole thing.

Took the youths to see Mario today. Pretty good fun if not the best thing ever. Solid 7/8 out of 10.
Puss in Boots Last Wish which we went to the other week was very good for me. More of a 9/10.
I watched Noah last night which I'd completely forgotten existed until I saw it in the top 10 on Netflix.
It's batshit and not great, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it at times.
Taking mine on Tuesday. Could be interesting because my 7 year old daughter is a complete coward and there's a fair chance she will be having dreams about Bowzer for a month afterwards.
I always forget about that and The Passion of The Christ. Batshit mental times, but probably better than most of the shite being served up today. The Superhero era was unbearable enough even before Hollywood decided straight white men are only allowed to play evil bigots or the village idiot.

Because Creed was good. I thought Creed 2 was alright as well though I also remember basically nothing about it so I wouldn't trust my own memory there.

Korean film about a deaf girl who witnesses a serial killer 'in action'. He then pursues her through the night.
Fantastic thriller. You may need to suspend disbelief in a couple of places (but I'm not clued up on Korean culture so it may be factual) but its a fantastic ride with great performances.
Not at the level of I Saw The Devil, Man From Nowhere etc but easily just in the tier below.
Just seen that The Last Kingdom film is out and getting good reviews. Got my plans for tonight.
Land of Mine (Under sandet) has to be one of the best films I've seen in ages.

This kicks ass. I'm only half way through and it is pure The Last Kingdom.
I watched Batman Begins for the first time in ages tonight. Dark Knight is probably the best of Nolan's Batman films but this might be the easiest blockbuster fun. Two hours which absolutely breeze by. A good time time was had.
I stand by my opinion that Begins is the best one and outside of Ledgers performance Dark Knight is a very average film. Nothing happens.
