I think it's inevitable some kind of problematic event will occur during the tournament - whether a planned protest spectacle, or some kind of clampdown. The thing is for us, how can I put this, white western fans, I don't think we appreciate just how little of a shit the rest of the world gives about things like gays and dead migrant workers. I'd say maybe 12 or 13 of the 32 competing nations are from cultures that give a fuck.

David Luiz was genuinely awful in this game. Players having a bad game is fine, but his lack of discipline and continued stepping out from the back and leaving huge gaps was fucking atrocious.
His interview after the game was good. He'd just made his £50m move to PSG.
