Theresa May's Conservatives
Jeremy Corbyn's Labour
Tim Farron's Liberal Democrats
Paul Nuttall's UKIP
2 people's Greens
Nicholas Durgeon's Scottish Nationalists
Satan's Sinn Fein
Dr Ian Paisley's DUP
Some other bunch of nonces
I'm foreign, but I wish I were an Englishman
How many kids does he have again? 27, or something?
That he knows of. When you’re a serial liar and cheater I imagine it gets increasingly harder to keep track.
I long for the day proportional representation is realised.
The Conservative Party would still win, it would just be in the form of a coalition between the Fair Deal for Pensioners Party (21%), Protect Our Greenspaces (18%), and the Nigel Farage Vehicle (14%). They would at least get immigration down, I suppose, so bring it on.
Nigel Farage Vehicle?

I'm not so sure the Conservatives would, Lewis. Not that any of the other parties are the solution of course.
They will win the next election. They are barely behind in the polls even with a hugely unpopular Boris Johnson in charge. Give them a different leader and they walk the next election.
Labour are completely impotent and the Lib Dems are a nothing party. The left is too divided, especially with the SNP taking pretty much every Scottish seat.
I don't think we'll be seeing another Labour Government for some time.
I'm not sure PR would change too much, other than more coalitions.

A lot depends on the new leader. I think Sunak is a phoney, tainted by the Boris administration, and people would see through him pretty quickly. The others would get about three months not to be totally shit.
Sunak surely not. He’s the one most relatable to money and they’re going to be persona non grata come October and January when the energy cap goes up twice.
Although he’ll probably just roll back the tax rise he did three months ago and the idiots will lap it up.
Well, that's Wallace ruling himself out.
I think he meant stature.t appears Johnson is disappointed with the actions of his former right-hand man, with a No 10 source telling me Rishi Sunak has a "short memory".
Grant Shapps or whatever he goes by these days throws his hat into the overcrowded ring.
Am I right in believing it'll go on and on until only two remain then its the Tory membership who decide from there?
They put them all in a HELL IN A CELL and whoever wins gets the job.
Shapps and Zahawi throw their hats in the ring, how are they so deluded? Shapps will just be rinsed over his fradulent false identities and Zahawi torched his credibility by accepting Chancellor then turning on Boris immediately.
Edit: my phone somehow didn't load half the postsSmiff you are correct, apparently they are trying to get the field down to 2 by 20th July.
I don't think that matters. He could just say he wanted the chance to implement a different vision, but then the next day it became clear that the party was set on doing itself in. Heating his stables on expenses seems like the better stick to beat him with, and Michael Crick seems to think he used to be a fraudster.
Run for your lives. Liz Truss has thrown her oversized helmet in the ring. I hope Suella Braverman wins on the basis she has the coolest name. And the tabloids can really, really get their puns going.
I think I'm becoming an anyone-but-Sunak backer.
Hunt has a great swagger and fantastically well-proportioned features. The only one I could imagine standing a chance against Sir Keir.
Me too and not just because of the campaign stuff. He's just bad news all over even without the experience I had.
All the leadership race is highlighting though is the lack of talent/competency within the Tory party and (not that we never knew), just how rogue they all are. Priti will of course announce herself tomorrow no doubt.
I am #BackingBadenoch. I saw an African woman at London Zoo absolutely smack her roaring kid's face off his skull, and the country needs that sort of approach.
Michael Gove just came out and backed her too. I don't really care who it is, Conservatives won't change their spots. Hell, I'd vote for them if they were a competent government/party but they aren't. Boris being a classic example, I don't want charismatic, I want competence. I don't need to agree with all policies, I just need to see they serve a purpose for the wider majority. I hope a GE isn't called too soon because I'd still feel every bit as homeless politically as I did before the recent dramas/scandals. None of them really speak my language and the experience I had campaigning merely showed me how murky and shifty most of them are and dealing with the media as much as I did opened my eyes up big time.
In short: This country is fucked, it's just a question of how rough that fucking will be and how long until it says stop.
Which party is competent? They're all the same cut of Boarding School Cunt.
I'd argue that's more because the working class barely gets into politics.

Poor daddy's smile ruining his son's dreams.
Would also add Tugendhat to my earliest post, him and Hunt have good aesthetics.
Tugendhat is right up my alley but no way the membership could stomach him. Also loves war which is unlikely to be popular.
This trend for billions of candidates is a modern thing isn't it? Delusional fucks abound. In the good old days it was just Ken Clarke + 2 people who it was accepted could beat Ken Clarke.
How long is this going to take to get down to two? They do rounds and eliminate the lowest one each time, don't they?
About two days after Boris’ Chequers bash I reckon.
I can live with whatever piece of shit they decide on as long as it isn't Liz Truss.
There's a slim chance Liz Truss is the reason the wife's passport arrived on time so Liz for PM.
Liz is quite a dangerous option so no doubt it’ll be her. Sunak seems risky from a Tory self-preservation perspective given the economic stink he’ll carry (which will only get worse in the short term) but I guess we’ll find out how much sway his rich pals carry. Also having a proper manlet as leader never ends well.
I can see it being Truss if she gets in front of the membership. But, she is an absolute air-head with no substance whatsoever. To me the most sensible would be Javid or Hunt but I think both of them are unlikely.
I can't get my head around Hunt.
When he was health secretary he came across in every single interview like he was a complete moron. Not like "I disagree with youtherefore you're stupid" but genuinely just thick as fuck. Like he couldn't get his head around basic concepts or lines of questioning. I came to the conclusion he was just the only guy willing to be the face of/fall guy for the junior doctor contract and was just a puppet.
But since then, every time I've heard him interviewed on other issues he's come across really quite sensible and eloquent. I've found myself agreeing with him a lot of the time, but even where I don't I can still respect his arguments generally.

He spends all his time going on about how we should be more like the Chinese (especially in terms of work ethic / productivity etc). Not going to happen, Jez.

Given the length of time it takes to train drivers I am watching this with interest, just another episode of 'politicians dont understand how the railway actually works'.

Why does his logo say tit
The same reason they don't make The Thick of It anymore, we live it now.
Someone photoshopped the middle 'I' in. I'm more worried about 'a clean start', makes it sound like he's just finished washing the blood off his clothes.
His 'clean start' is getting us nuked.
Won’t Truss be doing that?
Truss is cosplaying as Thatcher (and it sounds like Rees-Mogg is committing the necessary onanistic sins in response).
Mordaunt to win I think.
Is Mordaunt winning this purely because the money men are also pervs? She’s an absolute nobody politically.
I don't think I've even heard of Mordaunt, which is probably a positive sign in the current climate.
Penny Phwoardaunt more like. Probably.
