Something I learnt is that there’s a law that you have to show a certain amount of each team every season. They probably fucked themselves early doors.

When's the last time Everton have celebrated like this? More stagnant mid-table clubs should flirt with relegation.
Paul Tierney is just such a bad ref.
Leeds better not manage to escape.
Yeah at least Leeds might go down.
After Marcos Alonso's goal tonight took us to a searing 1-1 draw with Leicester, I looked up wondering if he was our top scorer for the season, as he seems to score all the time. Wrong - it's Mason 'Mase' Mount with 11. Romelu Lukaku is next with 8 'guaranteed' goals, then it's King Kai with 7, Jorginho and pooless itch with 6, Reece James 5, Werner/Ziyech 4, then all the defenders - Chilwell, Alonso, Rudiger, Thiago Silva and Trevor Chalobah - with three each.
What a pointless team. 13th next year.
Absolutely sensational for the Top Reds on Lukaku.
Well, let's just hope it's fucking Burnley then.
Some boi
I reckon I could have Patrick Vieira, but the complete lack of shape to that lad's legs tells you he hasn't got a speck of fight in him. Many such cases.
Not wishing to be outdone, Port Vale fans took turns in swinging at the Swindon players after their pitch invasion.
He’s back in training so should be fresh for the new season. I can see Werner, Ziyech and Lukaku or Pulisic all leaving never mind half the defence. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s 10th or a proper effort at 1st next year. There’s been too much top 4 slug fests for the past 5 years. Due a Mourinho 3rd season spell or Conte 1st season.
Everton need to play behind closed doors for a bit. The Liverpudlians don't appear capable of controlling their emotions.
Very disappointing that they haven't been relegated and the blame fully lies on Chelsea and United. But, I do feel that next year he will make them worse again and they will go down eventually anyway. Hopefully they end up in that Sunderland like death spiral especially bearing in mind that they are fucked on FFP anyway.
A transfer ban you say? Top four it is for The Ev.
This shit with excusing the pitch invasions as exuberance and it's just a bad few who are ruining it for everyone needs to stop as well before it gets out of hand. There's been what 3 or 4 issues this week alone? If Frankfurt fans can manage not to invade the pitch after winning their biggest trophy in the last 40 years I'm sure Pisspot FC fans can manage it after they have managed to win the second leg of a playoff semi-final in League 2.
Whenever it happens even if it is good-hearted it should be no fans in the stadium for 5 games I'm sure the clubs would mystically find a way to stop it happening then.

Much of the credit around Everton's survival has gone to Frank Lampard - after all, he kept them up right? Well, the former Chelsea star actually only took the Toffees from 16th to 16th, but I guess that'll do.
On top of that, Lampard took Derby County from sixth to sixth in his first managerial stint, and then took Chelsea from fourth to fourth during his time at Stamford Bridge...
A steady hand.
What an awful out of context take and I don’t even think he’s all that. The fact he got Chelsea top 4 whilst simultaneously blooding in a bunch of young players and losing the best player in the PL was a brilliant achievement. Most would struggle at getting a top half finish with them expectations you get at Chelsea and the team at hand
Didn’t Tuchel win the Champions league with that same squd less than six months later?
No, that was after they brought in about 8 players. The team that got top 4 had Abraham and batshuayi battling it out to start games
Pedro/Abraham/Willian front 3

Mourinho won the league and then had Chelsea finishing 10th. With a much better team. So it was definitely possible things could have gone ridiculously badly.
He’s fun if nothing else. Can always guarantee you goals at each end
Last ever round of Mark Lawrenson's predictions. End of an era.
Is he jacking the punditry [or whatever it is he does]?

Imagine the SEETHE if they got relegated on a technicality.
If they want to enforce it, they'll just dock points at the start of next season.
Do both. Minus 10 this season and minus 20 next season.
Or Just Rangers them down to Vanaramadramallama Conference.
How the fuck are Everton losing £100m a year?
By being shite.
I'm a twit
Gylfi's legal fees.

Time to remind yourself of Stockdale's website.

Good thread on the Everton situation. The whole thing is pure
Mackems up, then. Good on them to finally turn a corner.
