You might as well just get mid Cech or Schmeichel. They're super cheap
If I get Chiellini done the one that makes most sense to buy is Donnarumma. He seems just about the same price, but ideally I don't really want to spend right now.
Also he's a cunt and the idea of a PIM VDS or a Casillas is much more appealing.

3/3 in captains cup again. Some people are quite hopeless at team building for the mode and Freddie off the bench is quite unfair.
Park them in the club and use Sterling in classic cup I think.
I had a couple of terrible games today where it felt like my players were in the mud. Lost both by a goal so was still in it, just didn’t happen. After the Sterling pack I rejigged my team to get him and Ljungberg in. Should be in much better shape tomorrow.
Also bought 62 Djiku IFs as like 13k last night. Pray for Campaign Bag.

Chiellini done for "free." Glorious stuff. Enabled me to get two Casemiro gone and open all of my saved packs. An Alisson, Muller among them. Recycled things through the 80+ and got myself two Trents. So apparently I'm collecting those now.
I've recovered the Casemiro I had quick sold, though it's a bit unclear how it works. It says I have 3 left and time remaining at 1 day and something hours. Does this mean I get one recovery back in a day, or if I'd used all 4, I get all 4 back?

You must have used one around 29 days ago. So the timer to get that one back started then. Pretty sure once you go back up to 4 it will say 29 days to the next one, to get back the one you used today.
Though they make it sound like a set 31 day window. I always thought it was moving based on use.

If you can avoid it I wouldnt use it. TOTS is likely going to generate dupes. Might as well keep them while you can.

Actually bothered to get my Rivals games done this week - had some good games in the run. Came up against a very weird player at the end who kept running his keeper out, even early in the game, leaving massive gaps. Defoe (who did literally nothing except score almost every chance he got - his first touch for the club was some bonkers volley) chipped his keeper from like 30 yards

Sounds like the Italian theme continues tonight with Del Pierro. He's one I'm very interested in too depending on price. So far most cards have released at about their market price, only for the price to then fall as people sell the player off to do the SBC. Del P currently sits around 640k on Xbox.
If he ends up in the 500-600k range, I'd love to try his loan out as I reckon he'd fill my dropping deep creative style striker role perfectly.
Beckham isnt coming is he.
The pattern of PIMs they're releasing through this promo is big name Icons who were captains, but maybe not the most meta of cards. I still reckon he's coming, though maybe over the weekend.

I got him in a pack early so he might get a captains cup run. Though I now only need 1 win in it after today.

My run in the Captains Cup ends at about 10 games on the bounce. Annoyingly lost after conceding a late equaliser and then in extra time in the 14th and final win needed. Got a Sommer in the packs and turned the rest into a Foden and Szczczczczesny.
Apparently the game is going down for maintenance in an hour for about 6 hours so that should be me done until rewards hit tomorrow. Still no sign of the FF cards upgrading yet either.
How are those Djiku shifting?
EDIT: I just totted up the TOTW cards I have tradeable in the club and if I sold them all now they'd bring me 190kish after tax. I'd be creeping nicely towards 800k coins with that.
Tempted to hold for now as surely they can only go up if they're all out of packs, right?

I used Lahm's loan in my 3 games tonight. I really like him. Not sure I 800k like him but he has been very sold in there. Even on a basic.
I've heard he's like Kante, but having been on PEDs, to the point where he can pass very well.
A shadow on him pretty much maxes out his pace and defensive stats that arent heading.
He does feel quite similar to Kante off the ball but on it is a different story.
I fired in like 20 large undercut bids on Casemiros before the servers went down. Let’s see how those work out.

I got 12 of them for 30k (he is ~38k) so not too bad.
Hmmm Barella as my red which makes about the only good red pick I've had from Rivals. I'd like to give him a go, but I'm not sure he's good enough compared to what I already have.
Beyond that there was a 86/7 walkout in every big pack, but unfortunately the 80+ picks didn't pay out today. Now sat with a dupe Szczczczczesny and Trent waiting to put into something.
Managed to sneak in for a 4th win and into elite last night.
I got Red Auba and then Sancho and Hakimi in my first pack. Sancho dupe untradeable. So now we wait.
Apparently Aguero and Akinfenwa SBCs are lined up.
Aguero depends exactly how good they make him. Given the current power curve I expect a 92 rated with something like 89 pace, but high dribbling and shooting.
He doesn't fit my team, so he'd have to be very good or well priced to get him done. I imagine 500-600k at least too.
I imagine they will seriously juice him at this point but he isnt going to be much use to my Prem/Ligue Un hybrid. That and with TOTS right here I imagine its probably not worth the hassle.

They've literally just +1 him on everything really haven't they. His physicals are a bit low, but if you want him as your CM, I'd put a gladiator or guardian on him. His pace is fine for a CM already and the passing is great.
I think he got +2 on def and physical. Logical boosts for someone you are giving a striker card to....
