Weird West is ace so far. If you're into your immersive sims and the like it's well worth a bash.

I read that the aiming is wonky. Are you playing with k+m or pad?
Mouse and keyboard. And the shooting is probably the weakest part of the game but it does the job.
Started playing Horizon Forbidden West.
It very much feels like an Expansion so far. But I'm not sure that's a bad thing, as I loved the original.
The graphics, I'll say, are remarkably the same as before, even though this is 5 years later and I'm playing on PS5 rather than PS4.
After something like 4-5 years. I have won my first ever online game of Tekken
Too pricey atm.
Good point. It will definitely be for sale for like $10 in not too long.
I fear I've hit the "I'm too stupid for this now" stage of Baba is You. I have felt this was coming for a while but still, I was hoping to get further through it.
The new WWE 2K still has the old issue of it being a bit janky in how you move around and have to manipulate the opponent to trigger objectives but you can tell how much actual care they've put into it this year, the last one I had was 19 which wasn't bad but they've had the wake up call now hopefully. As an added bonus, the next day Amazon popped a second copy through the door so I'll return that for a full refund, which means I give WWE 2K22 11/10.
Ladder and HIAC matches seem to be the jankiest that I've played thus far.
The ladder would go from WE MUST NOT BE MOVED even when I'd punch or run into it to it will fall over if the wind changes direction. HIAC was murder trying to manoeuvre around the area between the cell and the ring to try and bust out of it.
I've not delved into match types yet but tag matches are still as much of a slog as ever. They should limit the amount of times a pin can be broken up, otherwise they last for absolute ages.
I usually bump the partners off the apron before going for the pin.
Yeah but it's harder to do in the 6 & 8 man tags as by the time you've knocked the partners down the guy in the ring has miraculously found a second wind despite being hit by 18 finishers.
Which is another annoyance of mine, the AI seems to brush off damage so fast. I put an AI through the HIAC roof into the ring (after having thrown them off a minute or two earlier) and they were up before I had climbed down.
Are the servers still absolute dogshit for multiplayer?
I have not played it online but considering it goes down a lot when I just try and navigate the menus in the MyFaction mode (Ultimate Team) I'll say yes.
Okay, MotoGP 22 has a big mode about the 2009 season and it's really well presented with a documentary. I really want to get good at these games but I really am allergic to apexes. The MotoGP grid has rider likenesses whereas the feeder series' get people wearing helmets. That's a shame. On the plus side, Ana Carrasco has a woman's body type. I was worried for a second.
Loads of classic riders even if it is a bit 'Mick Doohan through the ages.'
It actually hits home how little I care about 2022's grid.
I'm totally downloading that.
So they releeased a patch on GT7 and it is now much easier.
Platinum trophy update?
Finished Weird West (it's less than the sum of its parts but it's still decent and I love that setting and some of the characters) and gave Chinatown Detective Agency a go. Google being a part of the game doesn't quite work for me. If it was the case that on some cases, being in the modern world, you need to actually Google things I could maybe get into it but it feels like Google-fu is the game and I'm just not invested enough for the faff.
Darkest Dungeon up next I think but really there's nothing grabbing me just now.
I dont have it yet, but it isnt a task like GT Sport. The Hardest trophy is getting about 25m and buying three cars which can be done in about 6 hours if you do the same race over and over for money farming.
The platinum will naturally come which is disappointing. I was hoping to get another 5-year grind.
Darkest Dungeon is excellent.
MotoGP 22's career is done. Same old story, really. A bit bland with a couple of tweaks but not massively different from last season. The Nine story mode thing is cool and reminds me an awful lot of Faster/Fastest/etc. Not surprising as the same bloke directed this mode. No Ewan McGregor narration, sadly.
Riding in the rain is a fucking nightmare and there's definitely some heavy braking zones where your brakes feel like they've gone AWOL. Okay/10.

It seems Sony got wise to people doing this. They've put a stop to anyone redeeming a code for PS+ or PS Now, until after the new service goes live. I think that bit is just about okay, but the shady bit is they're now altering how your membership will convert.
Talking of PS, I've stumbled across Adventure Capitalist and become addicted. It's so shit, yet so amazing.

Oh, wow. I'll be lying if I said I wasn't interested.
Also finally got round to playing Park Lane. 10 minutes of waiting for a train erm .... action. I dunno, I just like seeing a crude Tyne and Wear Metro recreation.

It'd be more hilarious if the Australian in the video shut his cunt mouth for a second.
Playing Sniper Elite
Would you rather save him? Scumbag.
My daughter has decided that she wants a console (that she will never use) and my mate has an XBox One he is getting rid of cheap. Am I right in thinking the XBox One is still the current model? And the XBox One S etc are just slimline versions?
Xbone is the last one, the current one is the Series X.
But if you think she's never gonna use it that's probably a decent starting point unless there's specifically new stuff she's gonna want.
Yeah I wouldn't do current gen unless you're planning to use it too.
Yeah, you've got a bigger catalogue off the bat and kids will play any old shite.
Speaking as a lad who grew up with a Commadore Vic-20, Amstrad CPC and an Amiga. I've done the hard yards.
Cheers guys.
I'll probably buy it. I don't think she'd notice that she didn't have the latest version of "Dance Party" or whatever bollocks it was.
They'll probably have it on the last generation anyway. Although you can claim that she can work though all of them.
By this point there can't still be many people playing Snooker 19 so I doubt they're ever going to release a patch to stop players having donkey brains when you snooker them, but on the bright side it finally happened
Is it any good other than AI shitting the bed on snookers? I feel like a decent snooker game is something I could idly pour some time into.
Simple:
Haters will say its not snooker.
There's only really the snooker thing that breaks it occasionally, the only other thing is if you don't mind some of the players looking like waxworks from a horror film. I've been playing it on and off for three years now which is some going for my attention span, it's great for a little 20 minute blast here and there
Sniper Elite has gone full Hitman. Everyones following me up a ladder and getting knocked the fuck out.
New Sonic game doesn’t look rubbish!
I think it might.
Bless you, Mike, but it's definitely gonna be shit.
