Think I'm going to be taking Ansaldi from that so I don't want to waste my tokens.
I've been out of action for a few days (mainly blaming that on Swansea away and the state I was in after that), but I raced through Abraham and finally finished Chalobah off as well today. Opened a shedload of saved packs and recycled a lot too and managed to get a lot of good fodder which enabled me to easily do the Mkhitaryan SBC. He feels silky smooth on the ball and I'm looking forward to unleashing him in WL.
I used him when doing some of the objs last week and he feels great. Something about his cards always works out well in game. Shame his links make it very difficult to get him into my team.
Infact todays Mendes is meaning I am looking at having to replace TOTY Donnarumma with POTM DDG to get Varane on 10 rather than 8. Unless I replace KDB with WW Pogba.
I've been bringing Mkhi off the bench in games and he is a game changer. As said above his links just make him difficult to fit in unless you can surround him with Icons.
Also team 2 really blows 1 out of the water doesn't it? Other than CR7 it's not really even close.
PSA that there's an event between Torres and Raul and inside their objectives is a birthday token. Don't be like me and discover this after doing the games for the token inside Lamela.
They also apparently have the 24th token inside a pack in the store. Unfortunately this pack is 100k coins and there's almost no chance you get that back. It's also a bastard for those who popped the Team 1(2) player pack already as you'll have to buy that to get the fodder pack.
Is that part of the 24? I thought last time it wasn’t. Which is shit if it is.
I picked Torres for that but haven’t started any of that. Only completed the friendly stuff as it didn’t need wins.
There's been some back and forth on Reddit and such and current thoughts are that it is part of the 24. I hope not, because if so that's quite scummy.

The Nuno Mendes pull has made me do a rethink on my token plans. I wanted Ansaldi but now there seems little point. Aside from aggression, Mendes has him beat hands down across the board.
Ansaldi does have 5* WF which is great, but as a full back 4 should be more than fine. His defensive workrates also mean he's probably better at CB or CDM. It's quite annoying there isn't a team 2 player pack/pick.
After the MOTM cards are out of packs and we get mini-release 2, I'd like to open the 86+ x 7 pack and see how things are. I'd say I'm unlikely to get a birthday card, but any chance to get Mbappe, Messi or something else usable in, would be great.
Pretty sure I saw something about icons being in those packs. As soon as I get the tokens I am hitting that one.
People are getting moments icons in the mid/prime pick.
Not sure I will be gambling on that one.
Have they released the full load of moments icons now?
I don’t recall seeing Xavi in the last lot for example but he’s got a card on the market.
Coquelin seems okay. Very similar to Torreira though. Portuguese defenders are flying out with this new token SBC.

I forgot you got Maldini. That back line is utter filth. You're a bit lacking for defensive cover beyond that though, no?
The 2nd half of last version I played a very attacking 4-3-3. I kinda want to get back to it, if possible, but you really do need a CDM that sits and can pass.
From looking at the full Icon Moments list it seems they really have done their best to make each of these cards in some way usable. Some just cannot be saved, but even Nakata looks like he could be fun now.
In terms of top (top top) tier meta, probably but I have a stupid amount of SBC’s/specials on the club.

Made a 7-1 start but gameplay has been wildly inconsistent. I actually was shocked in one game by how snappy Neymar felt because he'd felt slow the previous 3.

A perfect 86+ pack from the FIFA gods would have Paqueta or Firmino in it too to give me my 2nd CM option.
Ramos is probably going to be bonkers. I am going to pass for reasons discussed above but without Maldini I would have been all over him.
Sancho looks nuts, the other two a bit meh.
Popped my 86+ x 7 pack and no special cards. Got Ter Stegen as the walkout, Ramos, Kroos, Di Maria and a couple 86. Cant complain with the fodder there when it could have been much worse.
Ramos coming in around 550. Probably going to go up as cards move back up in price.
I am holding 50+ Sterlings that I could do with the price spiking on.
That price is understandable but really disappointing. No player picks also not helping. Unsure what to do now.
I can claim the 25 x 83+ now and the two I've done combined should tick off most if not all of Ramos. There is however 2 weeks on him so it isnt urgent that he's done. I should probably finish my games and go from there.

Yeah consensus seems to be they think he should have high 80's pace and a bit better physical for the price they're asking. Still, it's Ramos.
I rounded off the 8th Icon Swaps token yesterday in rapid fashion, which allowed me to do the Prime Icon Pack. GF's persuasion pushed me to open it roulette-style.
I got all the way through to the top 9 nations, and it wasn't English or Spanish. Italian forwards..... It's 90 Vieri. The 3rd cheapest on the Xbox at 85k.Unbelievable.

Yeah, I've not played all that much. Just got up to Division 4 I think - seem to fly through games when I get into a run but there's so many other things going on that I rarely actually prioritise playing Rivals
Struggling to even get the motivation to complete Icon Swaps a bit but really want Cafu.

Knocked up to 11-5 or so yesterday and gifted the rest as the difference between 11 and 14 is hardly anything. Didn't want the stress of falling a game short like last week. Seems like 13/14 wins will be about my level on this.
Got 3 x 84s in my TOTW pack as well as the german LB with a billion pace again in the ultimate. Reds were Toney, Bizot and an MLS 84. Ultimately a bit crap. Up to 500k with about 7 TOTWs in my trade pile with stacks of 83s too. The glitch is almost in my price range now.
Sounds like we're getting Quaresma tonight. Should be double 5* but given he's in a crap league that should discount the price. I'm expecting a 83 + 85 type cost. Should be a great card but his gold card has like 50 stamina. If this one has over 80 I'll be impressed.

Relegation is shit, but I've grinded tonight. Got myself into Elite division but seem to yo-yo above and below 1800SR. Some of these people who play in here are nuts.
I'm also now 16 games from the 90 game milestone. Not sure I have that in me tbh. Either way there should be some good packs to open Thursday. I'm holding off on Ramos until I see a potential price on Mbappe. What'll likely happen is he'll be 2m+ and then I'll just go back and do Ramos.

Just been watching Zwe play WL - he clutched his 11th win with last minute goal, got red 93 KDB, and then packed a tradeable Prime Matthaus from his rewards. Insane luck.
