And this is where we are in the scale of things and is a simple way to set out targets:
10% incremental increases up to 90 of them (just because it fits the sheet and why not). Two of them achieved on Tuesday and Wednesday, whilst further deposits have taken us up a further three steps. Spawny claim, but it's in. Account sits at £3,892 (we have dropped slightly back below most recently achieved target, so I will turn that orange), with £300 to go in and plenty more trading to comeWord of warning, things will be quite slow to begin with, so sit tight. But once we hit 10k it's a grand a time (and rising) and gets interesting.
Also as far as daily updates go I'm pretty much done putting a template together and we can improve and adjust that as we go along. None tonight. I've had my hands full with this shit. Cheers.

ShareX is easier than that. Basically acts as snipping tool but auto uploads as soon as you’re finished selecting the area, autocopies the URL and you can just paste between img tags.

I have been trying to give Mellin my money to do this for about two years so I'm strapped right in.
And also if anyone was wondering, fees are built into the trades in the form of the spread (as well as overnight fees, but I barely ever do this), so you buy slightly below and sell slightly above the price. It's one of two reasons your chances aren't 50/50. The other being that if you gain 10% and then lose 10%, or lose 10% and then gain 10%, in both instances you are down. So you need to be 60/40 as a minimum really.
Also, IG do a demo account if anyone wants to have a play and see how they do. Do NOT put your own money in before making consistent profits over a decent amount of time on this.
I know you tried to teach some of us how to do it before but can you point us to some decent resources again please?

I had it at 1.6% on the crude calc of £60 / £3750, but I've probably missed something important.

Is it spread betting you're doing then? I thought with spread betting you could lose more than you put in? How are you avoiding that here?
I'll put stuff in the thread as we go along. There's no way I can answer that in any way that would help right now. There's no secret formula. You'll only learn through long term education and exposure, but the main things generally speaking for me are:
- RISK MANAGEMENT (!!!!), so position sizing and/or stop losses
- Cut your losers absolutely ruthlessly every time. Just fuck it off
- Add size to your winners and let them exhaust before closing
- MACD is KING
- Practice. Watch charts. Go all in (not literally)
- Patience. You don't have to be in the market at all times
