I would have taken a shit 1-1 so whatever.
He'll do well to carve out a Europa League career for himself.
Which iteration of "that's that part of the team sorted for 10 years" are we on now?
Lol
Also is there not even a fucking MOTD on tonight? Jesus christ.
He's a fool for taking the job and not waiting for Ole to be sacked.
I imagine Harry Redknapp ringing Frank up and saying, "I told you to wait a fucking month."
There’s definitely a clause in his contract where he gets a massive payout out of this or he’s shut the fuck up.
Honestly, United and Spurs need to just stick with a manager for five years and get some stability going.
His hair transplant represents the immediacy of modern life, and The Club just won't wear it.
They need corporate yes men. I imagine Jens Mustermann, or whatever that guy with the stupid suits is called, will be next.
EDIT: Oh, he's gone to Bayern, I thought he was at Leipzig. Absolutely on the button, me. Football sage.
I am enjoying Conte's apparent existential crisis.
Burnley and Newcastle should be fine. I said a while a go I think Brentford will be the 3rd to go down and still stand by that. Would be hilarious if it's Everton but I think at some point Lampard will see sense and sort them out enough to avoid the drop.
It’s between Leeds and Brentford now I think.
I was set upon last month for suggesting Leeds would go down.
Quite rightly too. Brentford also 9th on xPTS.
Leeds won't go down. Brentford are for it, though I'm not quite so sure about Burnley being fine.
xAnything is complete bullshit.
One thing I've always been wondering about xG is how it accounts for several good chances within the same play, but I am too lazy to actually look it up. Like could you get 2 xG within the same play even though it could only ever result in one goal?

Sparky has taken over at Bradford, currently placed 15th in League 2. Fuck me, his stock has really fallen hasn't it?Mark Hughes: Bradford City name former Wales boss as new manager
Tough to pull off a destroy and exit in League Two but I'm sure he's up for the challenge.
I had a quick look at the biggest Bradford City forum I could find, and this is the opening post about the appointment.
Poor Sparky. Are City really that bad that that's the best they can attract now?
That’ll end in tears all round.
It's crazy because surely he's not that bad/been that bad. It would suggest he's still hungry for the game if he's dropping down.
He's a good manager.
Back from Madrid and @Manc can report that the WANDA is a great stadium. The noise from the home end on the two occasions they got up carried magnificently. Got mugged off by a car park steward when he "helped" us get to the away end by saying "follow the pyro". A copper then stopped us half way up, white as a sheet as we were going to walk into the ultras.
Is that green pixel the pitch?
If I was, like Mark Hughes, one of the top young British managers in the game, I'd actually see Bradford as a great opportunity. City of its size shouldn't be that far down the leagues.
I'm not sure why - historically we've pretty much always been in the lower two leagues. Yes, it's a large city, but most of the population aren't remotely interested in football. Usually get 14-15k each week which is good, but season tickets are only £200, so don't generate massive revenue.
It's certainly an interesting appointment and I'm really curious to see how it turns out.
Tekkers.
The amount of 'people who aren't interested in football' is also why Bradford rugby is on a long-term road to nowhere. Sporting (and everything else) backwater.
Sadly true. Although we did at least have a fairly proud tradition in Rugby as opposed to football back in the day!
They produced our best leg spinner ever, so it's a thumbs up from me.
Dortmund on the ropes.
The HD version of Amazon Prime for these games is awful.
Dortmund have bossed that first half though. Other than the penalty, Rangers didn't do too much. They'll have to step it up because Dortmund will easily get another at this rate.
Bellingham is on another level. Plays like someone ten years older.
Oh boy have Rangers turned it on.
