Price is 8967. The strike price for the call I'm using 8960, (1% move is 89.67 pips, rounded down to 80 as the contracts are available every 20 pips). 8960 strike = 102.4. 8880 strike = 174.6. So a move of 80 pips would roughly equal an increase from 102.4 to 174.6. All of this variable at any time, but that is a rough figure and will be approximately representative at any time.
The way interest is looking we can buy 15 contracts, so £1,536 = 102.4 x 15. That increase to 174.6 would leave us with £2,619 (174.6 x 15). So that is an increase of £1,083, or, more importantly, 70.5%. 12 more 70.5% increases from £2,619 would equal £1,580,622.
Now that is not dead on as there are spreads to pay, but they are nothing compared to a combination of CGT and slippage from Binance. And of course we wouldn't go all in like that without scaling, so a slightly bigger move required or slightly less gains, but they are the back of a fag packet numbers.
We'll put our foot down and go for it. The whole point of sharing the burden of risk is that we do at some stage, but I'm going to do it in as controlled a manner as possible. The way we're gonna play it is go small to begin with and build up a buffer of profit from our starting figure. Then that profit becomes expendable (all capital will be staked, but we'll get out if the account moves back to our opening figure) for the Daddy 100 moves. If this first one or two land then we're in big time. If not we'll repeat that cycle until it does.
That probably reads like a load of nonsense to some, but is the best I can explain it. There's our trading plan anyway and I will back that up with the usual day to day analysis for entries and exits.
Fortunately for you boys I was on nights this week, so for those who aren't well versed in this shit, the technicals we'll be using are:
ATR (Average True Range) - This helps us to understand volatility. So no help with direction, but usually gives you a good handle on the size of the move
Stochastic - Gives us overbought and oversold conditions. Use this for entry and exits. Will use this for scaling in and scaling out combined with...
MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) - Momentum indicator, which helps understand how strong a trend is, or if there is a trend at all and also...
Moving averages (4 of them. The 5, 8, 13 and 200 period MAs) - The 5, 8 and 13 act as a support/resistance in trends and the 200 MA basically dictates all and how price dovetails around it is important
So that detail is there for whenever I need to reference it, or if anyone wants to look into them to gain a better understanding.
And I've actually undersold the calculation above as we're at nearly £2.5k.

Originally said half, which is fine with just me and Offy ripping to a million, but have been thinking about this and with more people it feels excessive, so I'm cutting it to 40% of the full account for myself. But that comes with a guarantee that I won't withdraw until everyone is in profit (or loses everything). I have no intention to withdraw until we're either stinking rich or out of pocket, just a bit of protection for you guys.
