What a page
They should make COVID passes strain specific. I got Alpha and Delta, thinking to give Omicron a miss and go back in for Rho in spring. Open to trades.
Just get your boosters and shut the fuck up. Don’t know why you guys spend page after page jerking off over this shit.
There's very clear evidence that three doses of vaccine is massively effective vs omicron compared to two, so I don't think booster jab advocacy is the right target for any ire about what the pols have been up to.
What are you on about you piece of filth? That hadn't remotely a thing to do with what you were replying to.
Dangerously thick.
Edit - I see now what you were poorly trying to do. You're the one that took the dose the hardest. Maybe it's from getting all those digs you deserved.

At protecting symptomatic disease there is. But here's the head of the Medical Association from South Africa on Omicron:
https://www.lbc.co.uk/radio/presente...-omicron-mild/The head of the South African Medical Association refreshed her claims that the Omicron variant is 'mild' having spent one month treating patients with it.
Dr Angelique Coetzee spoke to Tom Swarbrick a fortnight after her initial appearance on LBC where she told him that the West was overreacting to Omicron.
She echoed her initial claims that Omicron is a relatively "mild" variant of coronavirus, which sees greater transmission yet lower rates of hospitalisation.
She said that whilst she understands the precautions the UK is taking, "there's really no need" to reenter lockdown over the Omicron variant.
"Yes, you can have a million cases, you can have even more than that, but the severity of the disease is mild", she said again.
Surely when more people aren’t entitled to a “pass” (both jabs and the booster) than are, they’ll fuck them off?
I'm a twit
My sons nursery is acting as a walk-in booster centre over the Christmas break, so I'll probably be having mine next week.
Four hour queues.
People genuinely believe he's not going to shut the country down.
Nobody would follow it even if it does. I'll have the jab, I'll wear a 'muzzle', whatevs, but I won't be avoiding family and friends again. I imagine most people are the same.
Any hope of Boris staying in power for much longer rests on him not shutting the country down, so he isn't going to.
You can't lock down again without furlough etc to go with it, and they aren't going to want that.
3 omicrons here, which has led to 54 people being put into mandatory isolation [no testing for those suckers].
Wife's blinked and the kids are now out of school.
The WON'T BE LAUGHING WHEN YOU DIE brigade really are stumped when you tell them you've had it already lol.
Seriously, why are you laughing? None of this is funny. Tragic. Tedious. Bizarre. Maybe. But not funny.
The sitcom reviews are in.
Quite brilliant.
Are you still working on the sitcom, Yev?
I’ve just been re-reading the sitcom thread. Lolled for the entirety.
Has anyone actually been able to confirm how Omicron compares to the last one and how the vaccine works with it, or does everyone on television love just saying the word Omicron?
If you were doing a drinking game during the news you’d end up in ICU anyway by the first ad break.
I thought I heard furlough was already extended or something due to this?
I was quite enjoying the new WDYTOE format to be fair.
Something about omicron isn't adding up. The South Africans are saying relax bru it's fine, Sajid Javid is saying it's 200,000 cases a day and 2 day doubling, which means 24 million cases a day in two weeks' time, and over a billion cases a day in just over 3 weeks. Meanwhile our media class seem thirsty as fuck for a lockdown.
Either we or the South Africans are catastrophically wrong.
Our approach to this hasn't added up for ages, so I know who I'd back to be closer to being correct, albeit it is South Africa's summer now right?
We need to follow the science. WFH until winter 2022 at the least and then we can re-evaluate depending on NHS capacity.
2 covid hotspots have popped up in two neighbouring suburbs.
I wonder if I'll get the Delta or the Omicron...
This former doctor seems to talk pretty sensibly about coronavirus

I was expecting Wakefield. Disappointing.
