What a goal that is
What a goal that is
The London Stadium fast becoming a bit of a graveyard for visiting 'keepers.
Lovely goal but Fabianski is a hologram, might as well have put a wheely bin in goal.
Players like Jarrod Bowen are the poster boys for modern football, imo. Absolutely nothing to him beyond hard running, forcing the press and opportunism. That's all a manager really wants.
You look at Lukaku having come on at the other end and that sort of player will die, if it hasn't already.
Antonio winner on the counter attack all over this
Umpteenth time I've posted this over the years but I will again lament that we're no longer in the days when the likes of Benito Carbone could make a living at a midtable / relegation-threatened team doing nothing 3/4 weeks because he'd then boss it or do something memorable the fourth.
Tuchel repeatedly playing with Lukaku with his back to goal is a proper odd one. He’s so much better on the shoulder. Absolutely useless trying to actually build up play
Mendy has been absolutely abysmal today. He's often on the edge of a needless balls-up but I've never seen his confidence bottom out like this.
That's a bit of a mare by Mendy.
I can understand him not anticipating the ball going there, but I don't understand how he hasn't saved it easily, having got his hands there.
Like I said, goalkeeper graveyard.
Joe Cole just said that you can't blame Mendy for the third goal
How do those cunts keep winning? David Moyes and that squad - it’s baffling.
Wolves really are dull here. Trying everything to keep the game scrappy.
The Premier League has gone full La Liga. It's Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and the rest are just filler. West Ham are just at the top of the shit pile at the moment.
Jota
How on earth has he missed that. Should have been a foul for the shove beforehand anyway
I just read that Max Kilman can't play for Ukraine because he played 20 odd games for England futsal when he was 18. Seems like a shit rule, well done FIFA.
Fuck me, I hate modern day footballers. The Wolves keeper spends 2 mins on the deck after Mane breezes against his arm, and now Jimenez is clearly fine, looks fine, but decides to roll back onto the pitch to waste another 2 minutes. Wolves could win this if they stopped fucking about wasting time.
Tense finish but we actually deserved to win for once.
Wolves deserve that, knobheads.
I never want this boy to leave. Build him a statue.
Aye, I'm being harsh. They played well and the draw wouldn't have been too unfair.
Wolves with 5 at the back, 10 behind the ball, throwing themselves to the floor at any given chance. Personal favourite was Jiminez clattering into the board, only to walk back onto the pitch and go down.
All of their "gamesmanship" gave us the extra 5 minutes to win. Get fucked.
What do you want them to do? Go all out attack and play into Liverpool’s hands and get smacked for 6?
West Ham, Brentford and Brighton all did and got something against us so yeah.
Christ
That actually looked well organised with how the police cordon them off.
The commentary on that video is a mind fuck. It's like he's talking English but I can't understand a word he's saying.
Origi
Such a good pass from Van Dijk too.
If they hadn’t won after that Jota miss you could imagine a psychological collapse over the next couple games.
Imagine doubting Thiago. That strongest XI is immense and will be some force in the CL final this year but I might just be more excited about seeing the Div tear up the league for a month.
lol at his voice.
The new Jermain Defoe.
Bayern always beat Dortmund in these 'title deciders'. Safest bet in football.
Isn't Bellingham about 8? How is his forehead wrinklier than mine?
Just seen the Brighton equaliser from earlier, fucking lol. McCarthy somehow outdoing De Gea for thickest goalkeeper of the week.
He doesn't need to listen that often, he doesn't get in the pitch much. Old Gazza Waistcoat can't be THAT confounding, surely?
It's even worse that he has to listen to him while not even playing surely?
