Brighton: £50m?? Well in, lads.
Chelsea: Pending results of The Operation
Leeds: Danj-Ames! Danj-Ames! Danj-Ames!
Liverpool: Because FM contract renewals are the best bit!
Manchester United: Ronaldo 1-0 (plus some other nobodies.)
The Villa: Young.
Tottenham: Levy will be delighted to keep Charlie Kane around.
West 'Am: Big Mark Noble's presence is like three new signings.
You didn't list [somebody else] Webly, you cunt.
If we don't talk about 'tiers' ever again it'll be too soon.
They should probably put that dude in charge of the ECA.
Almost certainly a lesser evil than the PSG guy.
The videos he did announcing it were like something from a rap feud.
Ockeroos by how many? @John Arne

Australia are dreadful. Is this the strongest XI @Queenslander?
There is somebody on Madagascar's bench today named Razakanirina Rakotohasimbola.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe's starting XI has Perfect, Divine and Knowledge, with Blessing primed on the bench if required.
We can only hope that good old Innocent Bonke gets a run out later on for Nigeria (perhaps he'll warm up with Moses Daddy Simon).
The Kenny experiment ends tonight. Can’t wait to storm to Germany 2024 now. Might make the semis.
His face
Surely the explanation is one virile young man got an erection and another young man was fascinated/attracted by it.
Seems to be little mystery there.
Giggs looking bemused after a handshake has trumped that.
I know we’re dirt and all but Serbia are a lot tidier a team that I’d have thought.
Wasn’t it supposed to be something about him expecting Keane to approach him for a shake too?
He looks refreshed. Legend.
Could have fucking won that.
Scotland are ridiculous. Great win.
First win against a decent team away from home for what feels like years. We’re so close to a decent team. The manager is dreadful though and we must be the worst international team at finishing chances
Fair play to the jocks, thought they were excellent there.
Billy Gilmour future Balon D’or winner
Not quite, but at least there's McGinn(s). The John variety is the best player in that team by a mile.
I thought I'd heard it all when it came to dreadful tournament formats, but no. Here's the new system for European World Cup playoffs.
The second round (play-offs) will be contested by the ten group runners-up and the best two Nations League group winners, based on the Nations League overall ranking, who finished outside the top two of their qualifying group. They will be separated into three play-off paths, with each path featuring two single-leg semi-finals and one single-leg final. The semi-finals will be hosted by the six best-ranked runners-up of the qualifying group stage, while the host of the final will be determined by a draw. The semi-finals will be played on 24–25 March, and the finals on 28–29 March 2022. The winners of each path will qualify for the World Cup.
He’s also really good. Gilmour will be levels ahead though. His touch, passing and his ability to drift past players makes him the most talented player by far that I’ve ever seen for Scotland.
We’ve got two really good right backs breaking through as well and another unreal left back (s). Just need a winger and/or centre half and we’ll qualify for years with the core group
Where the fuck did this 'path' wank come from (the UEFA club tournaments are riddled with it now too) and is this whole thing a concerted effort to make tournament structures so hard to follow that no one will care if/when they have to just give a place to one of the big clubs/nations?
‘Paths’ need to fuck off.
Presumably they exist to ensure if a decent team ever somehow fails to qualify they will be in (or can be fudged into) the easiest 'path'.
I like the new system. It's really not that complicated and reduces the randomness a bit in that it potentially gives a team who got fucked over by a harder group another stab. Clearly better than the past few editions where the 2nd place team with the worst record didn't qualify to the play-offs.
More jeopardy is always good as well.
I'd do it for the group.
I'm not following at all really, but DOTS is surely a more apposite name given the genesis of this little internet collective we have here.
Dots were but a twinkle in Miles Jacobson's hard drive's eye when this place started.
What is going on with Lyndon Dykes accents?
I was going to say it's some sort of weird Australian/Scotch/London, but that makes sense after looking him up on wiki.
Also, what sort of name is that?
Yeah, he’s Australian but parents are Scottish. Doesn’t help they’re from Dumfries, such a horrible accent in its own right
I fell asleep on the couch.
Im not sure I dont think so as they arent selecting A League players due to the 2 weeks quarantine.
The mood on the internet down here was that Vietnam were always going to be a tough game.
Apparently we are the first AFC nation to win 10 straight World Cup qualifiers in one campaign.

We're so shit. What a waste of what should be a good spine of players.
I'm Austrian, so no, he didn't play for us. He did play for Turkey though and got sent off.
A lot of plastics crying that the Ronaldo debut wont be televised live (officially, anyway).
You should see the state of the thread on redcafe about it. Bunch of teenage retards moaning about the 3pm blackout.
When is this International Break over? It's always shit but this one feels like it's been on for longer than the fucking Euros were.
We're back to normal this weekend. I actually quite enjoyed having the three international games as opposed to two. It didn't feel anywhere near as dead as it usually does.
