I've decided to watch Jaws 3 instead.
I've decided to watch Jaws 3 instead.
Good choice, it's a shame those 3D bits look so wank now. I love a shark film.
Just rewatched Bride of Chucky randomly (not my choice), I'll never not be disappointed that Jennifer Tilley's tits aren't shown during that bubble bath scene.
The Suicide Squad is like The Raid but with a bunch of characters from the mind of someone with florid psychosis.
They've remade it already? Christ.
If you ever do decide to go down that road, allow me to recommend The Hole, which is an absolute mess of a film. From the highs of a Young Keira Knightleys tits to the lows of Laurence Fox's penis. Which is bigger than I expected. I had put most of his problems down to a deep rooted insecurity of some kind. As he's not short, I'd assumed "baby cock". Sadly not.

I've known more than a few losers with donkey dongs, people who on paper with their talents should be smashing it in life yet are barely treading water above going full Gollum.
The Hole was a channel 4/5 staple back in the day. Thora Birch has not aged well.
What a specific award.Thora Birch is an American actress and producer. She made her film debut in Purple People Eater, for which she won a Young Artist Award for "Best Young Actress Under Nine Years of Age".
Important that they must be both "young" and "under 9", of course.
Who created it, Woody Allen?
Wel it didn't seem mean-spirited to me, but I'm not going to sit here and tell you how to feel about how you guys are treated.
Man's been refreshing this desperately in search of an upvote; Manc, Ian, Spikey, someone make the poor lad's day and provide a
Why? He's being very inclusive and sensitive to the feelings of your community. Good lad RL.
Yev has to be playing a part lately.
You've Got Mail really is a great film. One of the classics. It's on Channel 5 as I type.
Tom Hanks, the man can't make a shit film. And Meg Ryan in her sexy prime.
Absolutely love youve got mail.
DQ showing top RomCom support.
Yeah I'm a sucker for a good romcom.
Never seen Harry met Sally however. Is it worth a watch?
Pish.
Notting hill
The notebook
Ghost
Pretty woman
Ten things I hate about you
Shes all that
Youve got mail
The wedding date
Those are your prime rom coms.
The Circle with Tom Hanks was dogshit.
All three Dan Brown adaptations are rank. Cloud Atlas. The Terminal. I could go on.
You speak the true true.
The Terminal? You monster.
Dinner in America is my favourite film of the year so far, just ahead of Summer of Soul and Another Round.
Demonic is absolute fucking shit. Blomkamp has always been awful but this just escalates to a new level. Do you find glitches scary? Well oh boy you're in for a treat.
No Sudden Move is a delightful throwback to 70s and 80s style crime dramas.
Profile is a tech-drama about a journalist posing as a terrorist sympathiser, and slowly starts falling for a recruiters charms. Despite her being portrayed as the thickest cunt ever, its decent.
My Heart Can't Beat Unless You Tell It To is an ultra low-budget horror-drama about a brother and sister 'caring' for their younger brother who has a mysterious illness. It ain't mysterious, you figure out what it is within the first five minutes, but if you like small productions and atmosphere its worth a crack.
Woodstock 99 - Solid enough documentary on the disaster that was the title event.
Apan aka The Ape - Swedish drama about a man about to tip over into madness. The lead is fantastic, ultra morbid. My kinda shit, not for everyone.
Isn't you've got mail just Sleepless in Seattle adapted slightly but with the exact same plot and actors?
Just watched a horror film on Netflix called Beneath. Don't bother
New Spider-Man looks interesting:
How many remakes have the lazy cunts done at this stage?
Black Panther was on again last night. I still dont know how they got away with that shit in this century, let alone have it showered in acclaim.
It's 100% not a remake.
Watched something called Focus over the weekend. Never heard of it before and seems like one the studios buried a bit. It's got Will Smith and Margot Robbie in it, so you'd have thought it'd been somewhat well-known but I'd never heard of it. It's good, in the sense that it has Margot Robbie in a bikini a lot, but bad in the sense that the plot is absolute bobbins. First act is fine (Smith teaching her how to be a conman) and then it goes sideways with some batshit plot that makes little sense and ignores the majority of the first part. Doesn't even stick to a generic "heist" schtick, which might have redeemed it a bit.
Focus is indeed wank.
I have watched three films I haven't seen previously this week.
Baby Driver, not sure how I missed this initially as I love Edgar Wright. I think the title and the Spacey stuff put me off. As a spectacle and achievement in film making it is excellent. Plot is a little thin but hardly the point.
The Gentlemen. I haven't kept up with Guy Ritchie's work post Snatch, this was a decent watch however. Fast paced crime caper with excellent dialogue, can't go too wrong if you're a fan of the genre.
Crank. How I missed Crank all these years I don't know, I was aware of it yet had never seen it. Complete madness, Statham is excellent, I think Crank wouldn't have got made in 2021
I have not, will check it out.
Baby Driver is all about the soundtrack really. I thought the casting choices were awful.
It's a dogshit film.
Agree with Lofty on all of his comments there.

Can't say I agree with the list, but I am surprised how much Driver is getting slated in the comments. Top, top actor imo.
Went and saw Free Guy today. I thought it was pretty fun and had a decent concept which was executed fairly well.
