I got 87 which is more than double what I normally get on the opening day. I still haven't mentally recovered from putting the farm on Ricky van Wolfswinkel that year.

Reckon this is my best start since Tekkers went mental against Arsenal and I'd [inexplicably] captained him, that must have been a few years ago now.
I guess last year must have been alright as well with Salah getting a hattrick but I have no real recollection if anyone else did anything of note.
What's the captaincy strategy this week then? Feel whichever of Salah or Fernandes I pick will do wank (Salah has a poor record against Burnley, Fernandes not so much against Southampton) so might go for someone like Ings and watch him flounder instead.
Majority will go Salah so you're not losing out much by going with Salah.
Bertrand & Veltman still out with Covid so I'm either forced to make a transfer or play Brownhill vs Liverpool. Fuck, not what I was planning my season to start with.
Captain Havertz to score four in Leno’s last game, hopefully.
I'm a twit
I want to go Ings but Salah seems the banker choice that everyone else will go for so probably best to be onboard.
Grealish in for this week. Not immensely keen on it but comes in for Pulisic who I was tempted to leave on the bench and bank the transfer, to be used with the extra weekend's data.
City being at home to Norwich just about swings it. Pukki drops to the bench. Didn't he score a hat trick against them last time?
My recollection from their (3-2?) win at home was a set piece goal for some random, one for Buendia and maybe one for Pukki?
Think they got bunted at City.
Yeah you're right. One against City, three against Newcastle a month prior. 5-0 to City in the reverse.
I have Fernandes and Son, got VVD which is probably an oversight when TAA is available. I dumped Grealish for Willock as I am buying the 'his Villa positives aren't City positives so it might take time for him to change his game' narrative against the 'Willock can break Shearer's consecutive goals record this weekend' narrative.
No transfers for me. Partly so I can have 2 next week, partly because I don't think my team needs changing at the moment.
Yeah, I like the look of my team so I'm sure a 20 point week is inbound.
Well Robertson seems to be back so the Tsimakis run seems to be ending next week.
Hopefully he goes to 4.2 first so we can get that 0.1 in the bank when we all get Livramento instead.
I'm a twit
I think it's time to say goodbye to Toney.
Had two transfers in mind. Short term Duffy for Veltman or long term Pereira for Bertrand. Went long term
Total nightmare for non Antonio/Benrahma owners.
Was playing around with my team earlier and accidentally saved it so have missed out on being able to sell Tsimikas for 0.1 profit tomorrow and it's genuinely messed up my entire team.
I'm a twit
I made my transfers today, I didn't realise I'd get 0.1 for Tsimakis tomorrow
If Zouma joins West Ham I’m tempted to captain him every home game. He’ll score about 6/7 times for them with Cresswell crossing it in
The thing pinged me just now as I tried to transfer a fourth Brighton player into the squad. Truly we live in heady times.
I see Barnes hasn't made it to 'Norwich week' without a price cut, sad. And all the £4m defenders have been bumped to 4.1 so the Tsimikas sale is less palatable to bank the extra 0.1m. Targett also being binned in favour of Young rather snuck up on me [thought his week 1 zero was due to goals conceded etc and only clocked it when he didn't get 6 points last week ] so that's another irksome price drop to deal with.
Probably going to go with half the league in captaining Antonio this week, so sorry hammers fans.
Fell a bad week has to be coming after the first two.
Yeah, captain Antonio is due a serious injury I think so why not today.
Toney is a prick
His replacement (Armstrong) did get an assist but that's really fucking annoying.
Was feeling pretty good about myself at about 6pm yesterday for drafting James in . . .
All [Mik]Hail Captain Antonio though.
Bailed from Tsimikas to Brandon Williams to bank the 0.1 and maybe pick up a 4.0 sub who will get games.
12.5 without even certainty of pens? Not for me, Clive.
I've taken -8 after wildcarding last week.
My season's basically over.
I'm a twit
Getting CRonaldo in but after the Newcastle game. Like hell is he not on penalties.
Panicked after a 0.1 increase in Gray and have now done both my transfers so it's a long wait for injury news now, not smart.
Eyes all-over Hwang FW at 5.5
Son and Wilson have destroyed my hopes and dreams. Brandon Williams starting for me as a result
Also eyeing up a Ronaldo-Kane rotation tactic if Son is out for an extended spell so some serious work to do in the transfer market ffs.
I already made a change (Hwang in for Armstrong) so the Son injury has fucked me.
Anyone not captained Ronaldo?
I'm a twit
Can't even get him into my squad yet.
Ings out for Edouard, watch him do absolutely nothing next week.
My league rival has captained Antonio.
Captain Reece James let’s go
I'm a twit
I used my Wildcard mainly because Son was injured and I thought he was out for a few weeks and meant I could have Lukaku/Ronaldo/ASM up top so it’s a bit annoying to see he’s back already.
I only took an 8 point hit because I thought Son (second sub, won't come on) was I injured.
What a fucking shit week.
I've gone bold this week. Ings, Torres and VVD out for Lukaku (c), Brownhill and Rudiger.
Wildcard into GW8 so happy to roll the dice a bit.
I've had a pretty stable start. Managed to dodge most of the injuries and have ended up with a lot of the players people are wildcarding for without having taken a hit. Probably getting a bit complacent though as this week I've transferred in Lamptey (& Cancelo) probably a month before he starts a game.
Not on any premium strikers and have TAA and Bamford so this GW could be painful. Fixtures are tough for most though so praying for a low-scoring one.
Romelu 11.7 with a run against a load of shite coming up and you lot have the geriatric Portuguese target man in at 12.7, for shame.
