Baseball isn't better than football. It is, however, better than American football.
I'm also sticking to golf being the best spectator sport. You just have to understand.

Paracetamol doesn't do anything. That headache would have gone away anyway.
Hot Space, Queen's generally forgotten attempt at disco music, has some bangers on it and is one of their best albums.
Certain minorities generally have a victim mentality which will hold them back until they get past it.
Wrong. Alien 3 is a deeply flawed film even when considering the Assembly cut. Alien is one of the best horror films ever made and Aliens is one of the best action films ever made.
Correct.
Both wrong. Dark Fate is terrible, Genisys is terrible. The only passable attempt since T2 is Salvation because it did something different with the franchise. Everything else is hung up on the T1000 and on upping it.
Very surprising take, it was a great film in a lot of different ways. Not the most thought provoking, but cinematography, choreography, set pieces, the general atmosphere and aesthetic all wrapped up in a chase film: not sure why you're hating it.
My controversial film opinion: Ben Affleck was actually a decent Batman and should have been given a standalone film to prove it.
Both.
Codiene isnt over the counter down here anymore luckily a double drop of paracetamol and ibuprofen does the trick everytime.
There's one I used to get up north that you can't get in Ireland was brilliant for any headache. Used to rip the guts out of you but it was worth it. Can't remember the name now but the coedine has reminded me of it so it's probably a brand of that.
My dad asked me to get him cocodemol from the pharmacy at the supermarket while he did some shopping about ten years ago.
"Tell them you have a toothache"
"Ok, what's up with you?"
"Nothing, it's just fun to have with a drink"
"..."
I know it's a poor excuse to blame your decisions on crap parenting but I'm sure it didn't help.
I don't get headaches because I am solid.
It's an interesting gateway to Heroin, that.
Codeine is converted to morphine once you take it.
Taking it for migraines is a really bad idea (look up medication overuse headache) but if it's only very occasionally you'll probably get away with it.
How often do you get them? It's worth seeing your GP and asking to be prescribed a triptan. They work way better than standard painkillers for most people for migraine.
RL is right. Terrible idea. Get some Diazepam like a real man.
Dunking things in drinks is for children and the mentally challenged.
Spot the person who's held their digestive in their tea for too long one too many times.
I'm curently knocking back Sumatriptan which have proven to be absolutely useless.
I'm with Disco on that. It's supposedly fine to dunk biscuits in tea, but I dunk a lamb cutlet in a glass of wine just once and the whole dinner party looks at me like I'm a mental.
Back to pop. I just had vanilla sprite from Burger King, and would definitely have it again.
I also have a cherry vanilla coke lined up.
I'm a twit
Aimovig is the business for the migraines.
RL's post in the other thread reminds me of one I have that's definitely controversial.
The Super League wasn't a terrible idea and wouldn't have led to anything worse than the shitfest UEFA already have in the pipeline.
That's a terrible opinion.
Football is already a horrible corporate avaricious wankfest, not sure how this would have made it any worse.
By making it a literal closed shop.
As long as you can earn your way into a competition, then sporting merit remains. Super League removes that.
Yep. UEFA tries to get around it by expanding to the point the big clubs have more chances to stay in the contest, but it's still a contest.
The more they move forward with the plans they have though the more of a closed shop the Champions League will become that’s the issue I have it is and will become a closed shop you only have to look at the last 16 over the past 4 years or so. You can guess probably 10/11 of them straightaway and then there’s another couple who have been in it probably 2 out of 4 seasons.
Isn’t the conference league already designed to cut the really small teams out? Won’t be long before that becomes the next tier too, and then the one after. Next thing you’ve about eight competitions with only one being watched.
Tokenism? Mint. I suppose alarm bells will truly ring if clubs refuse to play in it. European football still has a pull, however small. I can see it benefiting some of the clubs. Like those that would normally go out in Europa League qualifying have a chance to get some games under their belt. The new structure for UEFA club competitions will ensure that at least 34 UEFA national associations are represented in the group stage of one or more competitions.
Birthday's are for women and children.
This is controversial on THE MIGHTY BLADES forum. Probably not on here, I imagine.
There's a bloke who's famous among Blades fans for writing books about being a hooligan in the 'Blades Business Crew', one of the 'most respected firms of the time'. He's written two of these books, I've read one of them, and from what I remember it was all 'we were outnumbered but we fucked em up' type stories. Whatever.
I don't really care either way about that, let him write what he wants. Hell, let him have a big event for his new book (which is a tory of his life supporting the club, so not ostensibly about fighting people but will probably have a fair bit in there). What's fucking baffled me though is that he's got some event in Sheffield this weekend and basically every ex-United player or manager seemingly in the region is going to this book event thing. Chris Wilder, Brian Deane, Tony Currie, Dane Whitehouse, Dave Bassett.....list goes on. There's about 15 more ex-united players who are probably unknown nowadays to many people outside of Sheffield.
Does anyone else find it really fucking weird that all these ex players and managers are turning out for celebrate/support some prick who's only known for being a fucking hooligan and fighting people? More than that - writing books boasting about it?
What the actual fuck?
I like the new Conference league. Will be nice to see our teams possibly getting to play more than a few qualifiers against teams relatively similar quality. My only worry is that it will make the domestic league even more uneven.
