@Lewis Have you seen Tallis go off?
@Lewis Have you seen Tallis go off?
As he says, the players 'failed' the previous coaches, but they weren't mates with everybody in the media like 'Kevvie' so nobody cared. The anonymous quotes make him sound like a pretty useless/outdated coach (where as Anthony Seibold seemed like more of a personality issue), which is probably why they don't want to address them directly.
I was surprised to hear Tallis claim the players in question got Wayne fired. I don't blame Kevvie for this year as a purge had to happen and the players don't want to tackle or work on their fitness

It's a compliment people chill out.
We got lucky the latest Origin eligibility scandal is a winger.
Laui played for an under age Kiwi rep team but what ever the tit for tat can go all the way back to Queensland born Peter Sterling but it doesn't help anything. Letting Tonie Carroll go QLD, Australia, New Zealand, QLD ruined it forever.
NSW can keep all of the ACT including Canberra if we can get 1st dibs at former Queensland territory PNG. They already have a team in the Q Cup so I just makes sense.

2 mistakes 2 tries game over
Gagai and DCE are not Origin players.
I went out for a walk. Good decision. Paul Green is a seriously overrated coach. He rode a stacked side and Johnathan Thurston to a (lucky) competition win and it was downhill immediately after.
I agree with all of that.
They ran that right side play all night while leaving Turbo untested in defence.
Paul Green is a binman? I don't think they did anything at training.
I was subjected to some of the State Of Origin rugby this morning and it felt very different to our Super League.
I'm a twit
Thought game 2 was on Wednesday.
Has it been on the weekend for many years?
Talk about walking into one. Jesus.
Too funny. Surely he misses a few games with HIA?
The Warriors have taken Lodge off our hands. Churrr bro...
They owed them one for Reece Walsh.
I'm struggling to be arsed about this Lions tour. It might be different when the tests start, but it doesn't feel like a meaningful thing at the minute.
Are the Sigma Lions the super rugby team? When did they pick up the sigma if so?
None of the tests are at traditional stadiums as well. Rubbish.
They play in the new United Rugby Championship with the Welsh, Irish, Scottish and Italians.

Paul Vaughan would be a great pick up for somebody - Brisbane, say - on unders. Elsewhere, lol if the Lions tour gets sunk whilst they're already out there. Could have had it here but no.
I think we are still pursuing Adam Woods.
I never rated him when people rated him (spends too much time looking for offloads and kills your ruck speed), but you could see a proper coach getting some decent basics out of him for cheap. Might as well just keep Tevita Pangai Junior.
TPJ wants too much money for a bloke who spends half the season injured or suspended.
It sounds like there's a bunch of good young forwards coming through Q Cup again. Ben Condon from the Capras is highly rated.
The wobblies are shit
This team the Lions beat last night being called the Cell C Sharks makes it sound like with everybody covid-stricken they rounded up a prison team to play them.
Kenny Edwards got ten games for doing a John Hopoate. Hopoate got twelve weeks, but he did it to three players, so four weeks per player. Obviously society takes it a lot more seriously these days.
I'll never understand the Hopoate. Last year of high school the Italian fellas loved giving the old Hopoate to each other when walking up stairs.
I've been waiting years for this to happen. The cleverest man on the field.
Ultimate scumbaggery.
I'm a twit
Zero women bashed nothing to see here.
Moving the NRL to Qld for a month sounds good to me.
The third State of Origin also being in Queensland isn't doing anybody any favours. 3-0 and all the games at home will take a while to live down.
Completely undo all of Mals work. The Gold Coast will be a nightmare for the NRL to control.
You have to laugh a little bit about Quade Cooper getting rejected for Australian citizenship.
Maybe if we'd been better in 2011.
Yeah Kiwi Queenslander is as good as he will get.
Doesn't being a kiwi basically entitle you to everything Australian citizenship would entail (ie right to live there etc) or do they not do that anymore?
Or were all the kiwis I knew just dodgy fuckers [building trade Maoris, probably answers my own question]?
We have a weird visa arrangement with New Zealand.

I could go and work in Australia tomorrow without any additional paperwork. I believe I would be entitled to most rights, except pension and unemployment benefits.
It's not the same the other way around.
Koroibete isn't human.
Lucky the Lions aren't touring at the moment as we would cop a hiding.
Last time the French won here was 1990.

The NSW Origin team should walk the League World Cup.
Our best hope is that a load of melts refuse to travel, but then we would just lose to the third string so who knows.
Don't think I've ever seen a kick taken from that range in League before.
Thought he'd absolutely nailed it as well.
Big fan of the Gold Coast getting another game. Really good mix of Blues and Maroons fans that were nice and niggly towards each other outside the ground apparently.

Koroibete highlights from Tuesday. The bloke is up there with Semi as a super human ball runner.
It is so funny reading all the comments online wanting to relocate the NRL to new Zealand. I'm sure the Kiwis would love to baby sit 100s of potential woman beating rapists for a couple of months lol
