I'm usually NZ TV's harshest critic, but Taskmaster NZ honestly wasn't bad. Guy Williams is a bit cringe (without meaning to be) as always, but generally some fun tasks.
You all need to be introduced to Leigh Hart as well.

Watched the BBC doc on Ronaldo, Impossible To Ignore. Not very good but was pleasantly surprised it mentioned the rape allegation.

Turns out because I watched Top Boy rather than ‘Top Boy: Summerhouse’ on Netflix I was actually watching season 3. Interesting choice from them.
Friends Reunion was pleasant enough. Managed to remain wholesome despite James Corden being involved.

Talk to me about Twin Peaks.
And you don't really need to see Season 3. Although I still kind of want to.
Nope! Don’t. Pretend it never happened. Dreadful.

But a man on the internet said it was just being really clever. As a thick man, this intrigues me.
Been watching The Expanse. Found season one a bit of a slog, didn't really care for any of the characters and was also very unappealing aesthetically. Season two was excellent though and three has started very well.
Had a similar feeling about the Good Place, but just hitting season 2 now and it's paying off. Thought I would find the 'twist' too gimmicky but I think it actually works really well.
Mare of East-town is about as good a limited series as I’ve ever seen. Winslett is fucking incredible. As believable a bunch of characters as I’ve seen on tv, well paced, couple of genuine shocks and the end twist that if you hadn’t worked out beforehand would make you quite the moron, but was still satisfyingly delivered.
I'll second that. The cast is what makes it top tier tele.
Sweet Tooth on Netflix is pretty good. Particularly surprising as I've just found out it's DC content.
Time on iPlayer is excellent, though predictably grim.
Grim is definitely the word. I've only managed the first episode. It's very well acted and I want to know what happens, but yeah, miserable stuff.
It's really very very good. So well cast. Fuck ever going to prison.
I applied to be a Prison Guard (out of pure desperation) after Uni. I got all the way through to enrolment before a prison riot made the news along with some photos of a Guard that'd had his face carved up with some razor blades melted into a toothbrush handle.
Prison is nothing according to Young Offenders though, apparently. In prison most just want to keep their heads down and get home. In Young Offenders, every cunt thinks they're the next Charles Bronson.
Yeah, it follows you after too. A mate of mine did it for a few years, nice bloke. 6'4", played professional rugby including going over to play in Australia for a few years and was built to match. Years after he was on a night out and some former prisoners clocked him as an ex-screw and jumped him, he was hospitalised for a while. He says he still gets it now, 15 years after he left, ex-cons recognise him and tell him what they're up to now as if he gives a fuck.
First episode hit hard, though I couldn't get away from everyone being Scouse bar Bean.
I watched the first episode last night. Pretty bleak as promised. It would be better without Sean Bean, but that's true of everything.
What's wrong with Seen Been?
Also, fuck living off cheese.
Maybe you're just a big Jessie who has too many emotions.
Has anyone watched ZeroZeroZero?
I’m enjoying Clarkson’s Farm.

New Rick & Morty out today
Aye, it was great. I watched Top Gear back, crazy some of the stuff that was said. So good
Watched the first episode of Time. Good but grim stuff. Fuck ever going to prison.
I put a bit of Football Italia on youtube today for a change and even some of James Richardson's jokes are a bit risqué by today's standards: 'more news than a litter full of kittens with cleft palates'.
It's weird, I saw an old Top Gear the other day from maybe the late 2000s, and even though it was by no means one of their 'controversial' episodes, it was just peppered with stuff that would never get through today - dead animals, loads of gay references, you drive like a woman, etc. Things have tightened up really very quickly.
Oooh that sounds lovely actually.
Has Snowfall been recommended yet? Absolute cracker of series
https://m.imdb.com/title/tt6439752/
I'll second Snowfall. It's fantastic. I seem to remember it being a bit of a slow starter but once the various plot points and characters started tying together it quickly became one of my favourite things on television.
2 episodes in and it is my new favourite series.
It is good isn’t it. I randomly caught the first episode at like 12am on BBC2 a while back.

That lad looks to have the makings of a varsity athlete.
Looks SHITE.
If Tony Egg shows up we're in business.
Finished Time. Good and at least the ending wasn't entirely as grim as I expected.
Watched the first episode of Mare of Easttown. It's alright though felt like a lot of setup in the first episode. Anybody else see it?
I also made a start on Black Books as it's not one I've ever seen more than snippets of. It's alright, very of it's time / Linehan's style.
