He has one year left on his deal.

Arsenal reported to have had a £30m+add-ons offer accepted for Buendia
Genuinely not sure if I've seen him play, also think it won't be a very good transfer despite no evidence.
His STATSMATE were really impressive the season he played in the Premiership with Norwich, but I won't pretend I've watched much of him either.
If Arteta came back as a player, would he improve the Arsenal midfield?
He’d be better than Dani Ceballos but the actual improvement would have been signing Santi Cazorla back.
*Arsenal AND Villa have bid 30m for Buendia
I like him. Hope he tells you to fuck off.
Signing a character from 100 Years of Solitude, there has to be some sort of wisecrack in there.
Many years later, as he faced the firing squad, Emiliano Buendía was to remember that distant afternoon when his father had told him to sign for Villa.
References sailing over my head there, I think.
On to more pressing matters, United and City 'put off' by 130m Grealish asking price. Nevermind. Let's not waste everyone's time this summer, aye?
That sounds prime Woodward material. Spend the summer offering Villa £70m, being told to fuck off and then signing... I dunno, Keith Gillespie instead.

Not fucking about. Grealish, Buendia and Traore attacking midfield is all kinds of sexy football.
Also, lolsenal.
Should’ve followed the Trezwguet route and signed John Anelka or Martin Di Canio.
I'm a twit
We're too busy working on Azpilicueta's four-year deal.
Six years or not worth it.
In for Ward-Prowse potentially
Sensible to be spunking the Grealish money before it comes in rather than have £20m added to every fee, if that's what is happening.
Best to hold it off as long as possible in case he has a decent Euros.
Grealish's hair is absolutely appalling
Yeah, read after posting that he had four years left. Sounds unlikely. Good player though. Tore us a new one at Villa Park.
What we seem to be looking for is someone who can take set pieces and offers more presence than Hourihane. Must be someone abroad who offers that who you can sign for 25mish. Can't think of anyone in the Championship. No value in the Prem.
Can I interest you in Jonjo Shelvey?
Perreira is the real deal. Would be disgusted if we don't sign him. Profile fits us down to a tee.
Honestly haven’t watched you much (pains me to see Emi Martinez be exactly as good as I knew he’d be even if I didn’t have the Baggie connection) so didn’t know Nakamba existed. Thought McGinn was in that role. He can play on the right but I’d rather McGinns 7/10 every match over Perreira. He’s a good player but the only time you see him is when he does something if you know what I mean.
Taz has swung too far the other way for exactly that reason. He never does anything to hurt his stats which makes the 1in 5 times he does something make his average look really good.
"He never does anything to hurt his stats which makes the 1in 5 times he does something make his average look really good."
Wot?
I shouldn’t have put a number on it as it kind of goes against my larger point. I think he’s very bad at impacting a game without directly impacting it. I don’t think he makes the team better but if the team is playing well then he can define whether points are won or lost.
Wijnaldum's going to PSG it would seem. Sad to see him go but they're going to be paying him multiple times what he would have been on/offered at Liverpool so fair play.
Chelsea getting Haaland would really be quite ridiculous. Imagine having the choice of him, Havertz, Mount and Pulisic for your front 3 and the oldest player being 22. Autistic Werner will come good next year as well.
This depends on how long Haaland would have to wait for The Operation.
Kudos to Chelsea if they do get him whilst everyone else is too scared to go in for him.
I don't think everyone else is too scared, they just can't afford him.
Haalands not moving this year. They'll sell Sancho for 100+ this year and Haaland for the release clause the year after.
Get your cheque book out, Jurg.
I'm a twit
You might as well wait a year and spend half the amount to get his wages free. Dortmund got absolutely merked by his agent in that release clause.
Xhaka to Roma for 25 million. He will absolutely don it over there. Good luck to him.
Donnaruma off to PSG
EDIT: on 400 grand a week, lmfao

Get Andreas Jungdal that number one shirt. FM hero.
I'm a twit
Is he really that good? Seems to have the odd error in him. He did have one of the best saves I've ever seen in stoppage time against Napoli a couple years ago.
I guess he's young so if he sticks around you're potentially getting a decade+ out of him. Don't even want to think about how much money he'll have made in that time.
400 grand a week for ten years is 208 million of whatever currency we're talking about. All for kicking the post with his studs, picking the ball out of the net, and shouting AWAY at corners.
Guendouzi and Marseille are a match made in heaven. Looks like we’ll have about 50 million quid and be down 3 midfielders while maybe selling Willock and Maitland Niles as well which might get us to 90 million but our best and only midfielder would become Mohamed Elneny.
Is Pauli Fonseca the not very good Swansea manager when they were in the Championship?
