The EPL pack look tough. All you have to do is miss Soucek, Gundogan and Ederson and you've done well out of it. Problem is I bet the weight of those guys is much much higher.
As I've said before, that Prem team is split in half. All the stuff you want is forwards of the defence.

Did my TOTS Pack and got Ederson. Of the 3 I mentioned, he's probably the best as if anything he has the rating for the future.

I wanted an upgrade on Jones next to Sanches and I realised I had so many big specials that I no longer use/hate.
For example POTM Lewandowski who I loved but I have The Hunter and Birthday Hwang.
I also packed a third TOTS Ederson which helped.
No idea if you can work out a way to get Sanches and Sancho on chem, Danny?
Various other combinations and formations I could think of would leave Shaw and Neymar off chem.
Messed with it a bit.
I think the best you can do is if you get them both on full chem is then having either have Neymar (8) and Cancelo (7) or Shaw and Cancelo (both 7) off chem.

Think I'll end up going for the second.
I played two games earlier for Rodri with Puskas in the side and I already love the card.
He seems to move very fluidly, he is incredibly agile and the ball seems to stick to his feet plus he has mental shooting traits.
In the second match the guy tried to foul him by sliding him from behind (he had already added a second goal) and he just decided not to go down which left an easy finesse shot round the keeper.
I think against really good opposition they'll try showing him on his weak foot seeing as it's only 3* but that outside foot shot trait will help a lot with that.
Fofana and Soucek as my only two EPL options between the two packs is very disappointing. The resulting packs and churned upgrades gave me enough for Zambrotta so he's in and now I wonder what to do.

I'm finishing up Rodri and I scored after 4 minutes against a guy who rage quit. I then matched up with him again right after and he scored after 4 minutes (I'd like to say I let him but...) and usually I don't do GG but decided to return the favour.
We ended up pausing at the EXACT same time and the game glitched:

I saw Marcelo and thought right well I’m doing that. Never thought to check the requirements and holy shit. That’s more than Zambrotta costs. And only 6 days too.

Isak and Renan Lodi look good for free. Messi looks immense and bizarrely an Anchor looks the best chem style. Some other tidy cards in there too - maybe better overall than the Prem?

That overall is miles better than the prem team. I’m actually considering dumping everything I have into the eventual upgrade packs.
The only one you wouldn’t really want is Moreno. But if you can pull multiples of the team and get Marcelo done you’d be rosey.
I do have a dupe VVD but I dont have enough interest in Marcelo to even think about it.
I made a start on Essien as I got a duplicate Soucek earlier from a player pick pack. Did the 88 segment and out popped TOTS Oblak. I've no interest in him but he'll help me knock off the 87 squad once I've sold him and bought fodder with the proceeds.

I’ve just knocked off Isak. Not many quitters so it took just over 2 hours. I’ll bring him on in games I’m winning comfortably in over the weekend. If there are any that is.
Icon Swaps 3 comes Monday and I’m interested to see what offerings they have. No doubt the icons will be disappointing but the 25 x packs would go down lovely to help with that Marcelo.

Even though that LB looks great at level 30, I have to do a weekend league with Origi up front before this is over.
Now I just need to sort my team out. I'm excited to beef the defence up, but the front is annoying me a little. I'd love to drop out Deco, but I was already planning to buy Ruben Dias, so leaving me with only 100k or so left to change it up. I think I need the Icon to link it all together.
I'll be taking Renan Lodi at level 30. Liked his (FS?) card last year and early this year too. Useful to link in Neymar too.
I ended up completing Essien last night, but nothing exciting out of the packs. He looks like an absolute unit and I liked his loan card when I used it in friendlies. Plus should let me chuck Mid Desailly, who's a solid CB but can't cut it in midfield any more.
Still not sure what my best team is and every squad I build ends up with me needing to spend a million coins to make it work

Currently at 3-0 which is a little surprising as my eyes are a mess today. First two games were against guys who were great at keeping possession and not much else, I had less of the ball than I usually do in a match but I felt in total control. Especially against the first who would move his way down the pitch, turn back, piss about and then take a wild shot from distance.
Third match was against someone good at keeping the ball but also very good at taking apart my defence. I was 4-2 up at HT but his Prime Cantona caused so many problems and managed to get it to 4-4, thankfully I got the winner and saw the game out.
Puskas has been mega so far, he can be quiet for most of the game then all of a sudden he finds an inch of space and he can produce some magic. 7 goals and 1 assist in the 3 games so far. He also links up really well with POTM2 Bruno.
I'll get to 11 wins as I can't be arsed pushing after last weekend and due to my eyes.
Bought Ruben Dias and have played 4 with Isak up top too. I'm 4-0 and Isak has scored 9. 3 of these opponents have been a fair bit worse than me but he feels good. Speaking of feeling good, the other guy I faced probably was better than me, but Dias and Zambrotta were immense. I couldn't break the guy down, but I did lash in 3 long range finesse shots from Messi to take it.

I reckon I could do a PIM Cantona if I were to use the coins from a Puskas sale plus what is in my club. I love old Ferenc but Cantona looks on another level plus he's former United.

Best method I've got so far is pick a keeper, 5 rares then 5 commons then just mash them around for chem. Or go league by league to rinse through shit leagues first.
