I finished up Giroud and Pastore and used a bunch of fodder I got from the packs along the way to do the RB Bender, who looks a lovely card. RIP the Irish shitters who only survived in the club for about four days before moving on to a better place.

I've also discovered that near post shots need to be used more, Pope seems to have a weakness for them.
Bollocks. Was going to sell Wright tomorrow in case he came up on SBCs on Thursday. As it is, I’ve lost 250k on him. I’ll do the SBC easily with what’s in the club, though so it’s not a massive issue.
Just played one of the most annoying people I've ever played in WL.
He was playing an extremely up tempo game with lots of pressure, he was extremely good with skills and he was basically playing his keeper as a CB.
Was 3-3 AET (I was 2-0) and he ended up winning 5-4 with the last kick of the game.
I've never played someone so aggressive with a keeper and it really threw me off. I should have scored at least 8 but I kept second guessing myself as to where his fucking Lloris would be.
I was drawing 2-2 in a match and my opponent makes it 3-2 in the 85th minute so I go ultra attacking and Bruno almost instantly finds an equaliser. From there I decide to stay on ultra as I want this win and he was struggling when I made the change.
In the 90th minute Van Basten misses a chance but I get the corner:

Same here. Selling Wright to replace with his SBC version means I’ve got 2m, and Davies/Alaba RTTFs have been on my list a while. If I can get Mbappe done I can keep Camavinga without needing the Ligue 1 defence, so it’s all dependent on that really. Also a question of whether I want Bender at RB - Klaiber does look a better bet and Robben is still pulling up trees, so maybe I’ll stick with just GK-LB-CB-CB moving to Bundesliga.
And I'm done. 17-5 in the end which was okay. Should have lost 2 fewer matches than I did but the team is slightly in flux as it is. It became obvious quickly that Pope was not for me. So out he went and in came De Gea who was much more consistent. He still did leave a bit to be desired though.
My one last hope for red Jota ended as I was handed three sub-80 players and 86 Werghorst. It is however good to be finished at a reasonable time for once. The team is a bit imbalanced right now. I'll see what the end of this season brings then I'll work on it.

So far I've landed that Wieghorst three times- once as a red and twice as untraceable IFs, the second one came after submitting the first for the 5 x 85+, so it was a relief I opted to use him in it.

Decided I'd try and push to 14 and in my first "Champs" game the guy messaged me asking if he could score a hattrick with his Deulofeu and he'd give me the win.
He moved first and let me score so I said sure. I ended up winning 8-5 (he played the full match but did move for at least 6 of the goals).
Match ended and I realise it's actually Rivals...

As for the Benders. Lars(RB) should be used as either a CB or a CDM. He looks awesome at both. Klaiber would be better at RB but as I say Lars should start there for Chem then be moved.

Well first proper Champs game in my road to 14 was a 7-4 win. It was 3-3 at half time and I missed 3 sitters but kept hitting him on the counter to win in the second half.
Second game the guy rage quit at 1-0 down after 2 minutes and the third was a guy who rage quit at 4-0 down after 40 minutes

Last time I pushed to 14 I lost 8 so improvement.
4-2-3-1 seems to suit me a lot more than 3-5-2 or one of the 5 back formations.
Ugh. Just played a guy with a full gold BPL team, all of his front 4 (the usual Rashford/Martial/Salah + 1 I can't recall) lined up with Shadows, and he scored 5 on me from pressing. I scored 5 myself despite getting a 12th minute red card but lost to a late penalty, even then going on to miss several one on ones to super aggressive keeping. These aggro teams are bloody horrible to play vs with going long out of defence being so bad.
That's really fucking annoying. I had one earlier tonight and I've never seen a keeper as aggressive.

It’s normally fine as playing 41212 wide, I’ve almost always got a supporting runner to knock onto if they do, but in that I was a man down and so had to take one off the front 3.
I’ve been edged out of 3 games in a row vs folks I’m getting 70%+ possession and c 15 shots, all inside the area vs their 2-3 and so this is not the night for me. I’d rather not, frankly...
Ended up falling asleep left stranded on 8-4 in WL last night. Means I'm going to have to play a bit of Rivals this week, along with the 39 MM wins and 10 One League Ligue 1 games I need to play. Going to be a busy one if I want all these objective players.

They have thrown in some retro kits objectives (Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Spurs and Leeds) and a rivals/SB objective for some packs.
Would love to see some old Utd kits in this, and some awesome European ones too. Such an obvious draw for people.

The requirements for that Benedetto are annoying. No way I’m scoring 4 from outside the box.... everything else and I’m there, no problem.
On the EA front, I really don’t get the issue. It’s a grindy game, with loot boxes to speed things up. Did The Mirror go after WoW and the likes for the same stuff? No, cos it wasn’t mirror reading scrotes making up 50% of the player base.
You could just pay an EA employee £10,000 instead.£80,000 to get that Ultimate Team.
Switched onto Pastore last night and am 5-0 with a Serie A team I’m really enjoying. WiF Pereyra at striker is great, IF Luiz Alberto is surprisingly useful at CAM despite the pace and a red IF Sanchez is really fun.
Finished up 19/20 of the Prem today. Just West Brom to go. Will spend some time hammering the Silver packs and see if I can get any luck, otherwise I'll be spending a shitload to finish it up. I hope they get relegated this season, the wankers
