Robinho sentenced to 9 years in Italian prison for a sexual assualt that happened in a Milan nightclub in 2013.
Poulsen is going to destroy Kabak and Phillips.
Fabinho is back in midfield in case you hadn't seen. That means they won't be making it into our half and we'll run up a cricket score.
Where they are playing?
Barcelona cunt, take the shot.
Why are they playing both legs in Budapest? I thought it was a problem with Liverpool traveling to Germany.
If Dembele had a brain he'd be decent
Just seen that Neymar is still injured, hope he has fun with his sister on her birthday tomorrow.
How the fuck did Liverpool fail to score there?
Thunder cunt of a strike from Messi there
That's a quality strike from Messi.
Upamecano is fucking dreadful
Great half in the PSG Barca game. The pace of play is SO much better than most games in the past year. Champions League is the best lockdown football.
Hwang Hee Chan on
Liverpool are in trouble now.
Just get him running at them.
We’re set to finish 11th and win the CL
What a difference Fabinho playing in midfield makes. Klopp just needs to bin off Trent and they could have a fighting chance.
Leipzig are so so bad.
I suppose in the past few weeks even there have been issues with central defenders and him being injured but you'd think looking at last night you just chuck any old shit at centre-half & hope for the best as long as he can sit in front of them. You won't beat City, Bayern or PSG I would imagine but I think we'd beat the majority of the rest of the shite.
Leipzig definitely helped though. How the fuck did United manage to get knocked out by them?
Because we're a bit shit. This is in the same season we could've lost about 5-0 to Brighton, let Demba Ba and his zimmer frame score after a 320 yard run down the field and whatever other crimes against football United have committed.
Or were you looking for a deeper answer than that?
UEFA
If this happens, I genuinely hope (but don't expect) fans to boycott this shit.
You're excited about Agnelli's "last 15 minutes" subscriptions though, right???
Making a tournament format as nonsensical and downright shit as that, with the sole aim of reducing the % of the season taken up by domestic football (i.e. to reduce the Premier League's reach and power), is pretty villainous stuff and shows where their priorities are.
Our clubs should break away and play the Vaccinated Superleague against MLS clubs in midweek.
To be fair, I turned on Juve v Porto with 15 left and it was the most exciting football I've seen all season. Perhaps he has a point.
I really don't like the idea of a 36 team league where each team plays 10 games. You're in the same table as someone, but you might have nothing to do with them? Maybe it's just as fair(?), but it doesn't seem "right".
The main thing I liked about European football as a kid was the fact that you're playing teams you don't play that often and might go years without. This whole set up just makes what should be the most exciting games a matter of routine.
The only sport where I have seen the Swiss system used is chess, where you might have a big tournament of say 100+ people but want the tournament done in a day. However, in chess they actually use it intelligently, i.e. the results of the early matches then determine the subsequent matchups, so you end up with the best playing the best at the end as they all have winning records, while those who have lost all their games also play each other, so the final rankings are a reasonable reflection of the quality of play as it unfolded over the course of the tournament.
In this instance however it sounds like the fixture list would be set from the start, which just makes it a nonsensical crap shoot. Between this, the 24 team Euros and the 48 team World Cup, they will have destroyed the competitive integrity of elite football in the desperate pursuit of quite small amounts of greed (I mean, the CL has been lucrative for the last 20 years, hasn't it?)

I'll give 'em this though, I didn't really think they would implement an even more boring version of the group stage but they're doing it.
I don't even really understand how this will harm the Premier League. They won't reduce from 20 to 18 so it'll just be the league cup that goes in the bin which will leave, what, 1 extra fixture on the calendar for the teams competing in Europe?
Why would you not just have 6 groups of 6 in a 36 team format, or is it necessary for Barcelona to play as many different teams as possible in the group phase?
Probably because Agnelli (or whoever is driving the boat here) knows that the TV deals aren't going to expand any further and may well contract, so the European section of the Big Clubs desperately need to muscle in for a greater proportion of whatever there is.
All the hallmarks of a Great European Night so far, this.
That looks a bit dodgy. Oh well.
That yellow card for whichever of their players was lol as well.
Milan are comprehensively out-tacticking Ole Gunnar Binman here, so this hinges on all of their players actually being crap.
Amad about to don Milan
Martial coming off donning City to turn that shit in really does sum him up.
Amad and James prolonging their first team minutes
Awful from Henderson.
