I will say that it is the same person who is (or should I say, will be) refusing the vaccine.

Why are the number of jabs per day dropping significantly?

Distribution to other countries is increasing, presumably.
Anti-vaxxers are winning.
Could be a slowdown in the supply line. I would suggest we might be easing up now the majority of the at-risks are covered but vaccinating everyone (who wants to be) by the end of July sounds like we still want to get this done ASAP.
I want a holiday to a warmer climate this year so if Lee's reading this, put your fucking foot down. Kthxbye.
We had a big day yesterday and supply is meant to pick up from 1 March. Wouldn't surprise me if we had a 1 million day by the end of March.
The problem with this theory is that it would involve all RLs to forget what flu is and the main method of diagnosing virus has been compromised. The second problem is not understanding that implementing massive restrictions will reduce the spread rate of a virus that doesn't spread as easily as say, covid 19.
We can answer your Bill Gates question next week on why is he involved with vaccines and did he kill children in India through the polio vaccine.
On the testing for flu thing, our public health bod here says we do test for it separately and there has been very little incidence of it [due mostly to the reasons Spikey stated].
Imagine if we wiped out flu because of this.
Yeah really been worth it.
Huge mental cost, physical cost, business cost, etc. The true cost of this shite will be felt for fucking years and years to come and it'll be a higher burden on the NHS. You maggots thought you had to work hard for 12 months just you wait.
The amount of people on Twitter claiming that Zero Covid is impossible and hasn't worked anywhere is staggering - these people have access to the internet - yet seem hellbent on not using it. It obviously won't work now in the UK, but has worked elsewhere.
It only worked if you did it initially when the disease had hardly got going. No chance of anywhere else doing it now and trying to do it would be genuinely an awful approach.
People seem unable to distinguish in their heads between what was a good decision in Feb 2020 and what is a good decision in Feb 2021. Very different things.
And no need.
Why don't these people want zero-chicken pox?
I can confirm the slow down is because of supply issues.
John Arne is just gutted he won’t be getting our vaccine.
The best bit will be when NEW ZEALAND! has vaccinated everyone and abandons zero covid / the flare-up lockdowns they have from time to time.
People have outed themselves as being truly dreadful when it comes to having an opinion based on the latest information available, choosing instead to dg a trench around whatever opinion they started with. Which I guess is a reflection of discourse in general these days.
IIRC you seemed to think all schools were plague pits.

Getting cracking on the over-40's now. Not too sure how. Is the take up in the 50+ not particularly good or something? Feels like that should have taken longer.
Don't think we're doing them now, just next.
I am amused by all the twitter screaming about key workers, as if the main takeaway from 2021 so far has not been that JCVI actually know what they're doing.
Sorry but the tone adopted by the good old police federation in contrast to the measured statement from the headmasters' union made meBut Geoff Barton, general secretary of the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL), said he was disappointed that education staff would not be prioritised in the next phase.
"This is important not only in reassuring staff who it expects to work in busy and crowded environments, but also in terms of minimising disruption to education caused by staff absence as a result of Covid."
Metropolitan Police Federation chairman Ken Marsh criticised the plans to prioritise by age group, saying "it's absolutely disgusting - they don't give a damn about us".
I'll admit that I had a similar knee-jerk when the priority bands were announced, but 2 minutes thought and it makes perfect sense.
Realistically, the care sector is where the problem is. That needed sorting as a priority. Beyond that, it's age and health concerns, not fucking professions (apart from Security Guards apparently, but I've never met one that doesn't have a 40 inch waist and grease marks on their shirt, so...).
Baz has kept his cool by spending most of it in his car getting tested.
Look at Rob Van Tam spearheading Project Fear.
Zero Covid credentials crew have now officially gone through the looking glass in their efforts to keep lockdowns going.
Deleted. What did it say?
And what bullshit is Swiss Van Tam coming out with? The Luxembourg variant kills an extra 4 people and three goats per million?
It was a woman with her credentials in her name suggesting that anal swabs are the best bet for testing children.
Man, these numbers are looking solid. Sliding towards freedom.
8000 still way too high!!!1
Probably true, but her suggestion was doing it on a mass/asymptomatic basis in order to find every covid case to eliminate it, which produces somewhat, erm, unfortunate images.
I've looked at it again, doesn't look like it's as straightforward as one being better than the other on the most recent research (seems each can be more useful in different circumstances).
Mass rectal swabbing of asymptomatic kids is clearly mental.
That the science again?
Total nonce-sense.
Magic would prefer the anal swab I've heard.
Wouldn't touch the sides of his ravaged hole.
He talks out of his arse so it would make most sense.
Also, arse swab would be so much easier than nose/throat for young kiddies.
You go for a COVID test and then go into a shop...?
It's a non-symptom test. So yes.
I'm a twit
You may have played it cool, but you are the CEO of Team Fear.
