They'll probably not work after we fuck about with the dosing schedule and end up with a vaccine resistant strain anyway.
If that doesn't legitimise anti-Chinese racism then we're lost as a society.
Yev, boosters, you prick.
The Army man was reading that NHS praise like a hostage.
Asking 'why is this a problem' when it comes to do with anything with Covid strikes me as slightly misunderstanding the situation.
Or it might be me, and I've spent most of the last 9 months indoors and will spend most of the next three months indoors, for no reason.
It's proving a logistical fucking nightmare to vaccinate everyone twice in the first place and you think doing another round every 6 months isn't an issue?
While I'm at it SvN can have some as well in that of course a fucking starter isn't a 'substantial meal'.
Jesus H Christ.
If going for a covid MOT once a year means I get to leave the house then I'll probably do it.
I wasn't though. He does live in a tier 4, even if he went via a tier 2. He went up to stay for the week and he did go before he got his test results back. He also positive ripped me and called me an "absolute fucker". An admission of his guilt and shame if ever there were one.
Fuck it I don't even know what the tiers in your country mean and couldn't care less what Kikkoman gets up to, I just like post replying every time Giggles is wrong about something, even though he has me on mute
I was in tier 2 and moved to tier 3 (Manc) so either way it was technically wrong (never in tier 4). And I never thought I had covid as the doctor was with my gran not me and was in another room throughout.
I think it's a different story to believing the thing isn't actually real and/or over egged for some ulterior motive.
Lads, he didn't think he had it, back down.
Ah well that’s grand so long as nobody thinks they have it. Open the clubs @Don.
You’re the epitome of exactly why it’s all got to this.
“Everyone is a fucker and should be following the rules, but I’ll bend them because I should be allowed to do x, y, and z and why should I be stopped”.
Didn't even need to stir. So proud
Totally agree. OPEN THE FUCKING CLUBS.
You saying you were breaking them all along?
I'm so pumped for the clapping man. So I assume this counts as your once a day exercise so I might look to call the police on my neighbour who I saw out walking earlier if he dares step foot outside his front door.
Won't they ask you for their kids bike back?
Don't fucking change the subject, you disgrace. Answer his question. Now.
Only after the 25th May and for eye related activities.
Can’t remember where I read it now but apparently resentment is growing in Germany. The EU have absolutely fucked the vaccine rollout and they’re watching truckloads of the BioNtech vaccine leave for the UK while they’re not getting anything.
We’ve now vaccinated 1.5 million apparently. Probably the only thing we’ve got right over the last 10 months.
France's numbers were absolutely horrid. Thousands.
Couldn't agree more. For all the shambles leading up to it, we've done well on getting the vaccine 'rolled out'.
No wars with the Germans over sunbeds this year.
And actually, the vaccine stage is the most important bit.
Didn't Twitter burst a blood vessel when Matt Hancock originally said we'd be able to get the vaccine out quicker due to not being in the EU? Where are they now?
We need a vaccine page on Worldometer really.
There's one here: https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vaccinations, although our number seems to be 10 days out of date, it's over 2% of the pop now.
I know I give it to the French on most topics but they are truly excelling themselves this time.
What the hell is that sound??
Oh right, they're actually clapping again. Committed, if nothing else.
Bloomberg has a good one: https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/c...-distribution/
Cheers gents.
Right, does anyone know where the responsibility for vaccines in Europe lays, where it starts/ends with the EU and where it starts/ends with member states?
I want to go all in on this one as it's the first proper example that we might actually be better alone, but don't want to do that without the fachts.
It seems to be a situation where having 27 countries in the room becomes a weakness rather than a strength.
https://www.politico.eu/article/the-...the-eus-fault/Did, as some are claiming, the EU sign deals for vaccines too late? Most of the deals were completed by early August — the Commission just didn’t get EU countries’ sign-off until months later.
It is true that the U.K. and U.S. were able to vaccinate hundreds of thousands of people before European regulators approved the first coronavirus vaccine. There are a few reasons for this, most notably that the European Medicines Agency recommended a conditional marketing authorization, which comes with more strings attached for drugmakers than the British emergency authorization procedures. As a result, if there are any unforeseen issues with the vaccines, the U.K. government will be held liable; while in the EU, drugmakers would be on the hook.
It also takes longer because it requires input from every EU country. Countries largely held firm in their support for this process throughout December, but as they saw footage of Brits and Americans getting vaccinated, the likes of Hungary, Poland, Germany and Italy pushed the EU to go faster.
The EMA moved its recommendation dates forward and the Commission streamlined its authorization process from days to hours, but it seems likely the EU's process will continue to take longer as other countries issue emergency authorizations.
The next decision for the EMA will be on Moderna's vaccine this week, although the American company has limited production capacity in the EU.
The EMA is also conducting rolling reviews of the Oxford/AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines (although the former has not formally submitted a conditional marketing authorization application, which might cause delays).
I'm going to stick my neck right out and say that however it pans out it will conclusively prove the need for further integration.
Over there they shit themselves about every case, they aren't hard men like us shrugging off 80,000 a day.
Missus has full breast reconstructive surgery on the right sode in 2 weeks. Hopefully it calms down by then so I can visit her.
Ive been mentally preparing for this for a while our luck had to run out eventually.
All the best to your missus, not the best time to be facing hospital treatment.
Thank mate I reckon the surgery will be fine it will be the week in hospital without visitors that I am a bit worried about.
