Johnny Vegas has got to be one of the best Taskmaster contestants ever.
Johnny Vegas has got to be one of the best Taskmaster contestants ever.
His room 101 appearance was the peak of that show
Nothing groundbreaking but Bosch is really watchable procedural stuff. Good eye candy if you like older women as well.
Maybe not eating their bogroll levels but not bad.
Johnny Vegas is a treasure.
This never fails to make me proper lol.
I like Bosch too. I agree with Kiko, it's just a good, old fashioned procedural. Sometimes that just hits the spot. I've always like Titus Welliver too. He's one of those blokes who is perennially the supporting guy in things, and he's always good at it. So it was nice to see him get his own thing. I am a couple of seasons behind though I think.
Mortimer & Whitehouse.![]()
Chris Rea looks a bit Wayne Lineker.
More like Harry Henderson.

New series of The Expanse just landed![]()
I might start blasting through The Repair Shop back-catalogue on iPlayer. Every time I come across it on TV it's captivating stuff.
Kiko to blame for this, but I was chuffed when Back to Earth (Red Dwarf) was announced. 11 years on and still not seen it. Turns out they've done 3 series and a special since. Worth watching or shit?
Back to Earth is the worst Red Dwarf they've ever done. The stuff after it was better, and probably worth a watch, but not close to the peak of the show.
Cheers. Good excuse to watch it through from the start so I'm in.
Browning's summed it up perfectly.
Seeing as Jimmy owned up to his Pigs in Blankets aversion, I should own upto this. I never liked Red Dwarf.
The vibe wasn't really me but there was always a belting line or two per episode. The blue alert thing still makes me piss myself every time.
I never really liked it either. Never really like the buzz where everything always goes wrong all of the time.
I liked it but there was a bloke in college who obsessed over it. Didn't help that he had the Columbine wardrobe.
and he loved the Matrix and Slipknot too? I think we all knew atleast one of them.
I only watched it for the first time at uni, and enjoyed it, but haven't really watched any of the new stuff. I met the cast at one of those nerdfest events, but Craig Charles noshowed because he was on a bender.
"Will there be another series of the Brittas Empire, Mr. Barrie?"
Brittas was better.
Just thinking about Colin's boil makes me unhappy.
The best bits of Red Dwarf were good but it's so inconsistent, there's probably two (maybe three at a stretch) good series in all. All the later stuff is total garbage.
Charlotte Ritchie, Jamali Maddix, Lee Mack, Mike Wozniak and Sarah Kendall for season 11.
I have no idea who Charlotte and Sarah are.
Charlotte Ritchie I know as the one who was shagging the lecturer in Fresh Meat.
Jamali Maddix and Wozniak I recognise but don't think I've ever actually watched anything with them in.
Fuck knows who Sarah Kendall is.
Lee Mack will be good.
Wozniak was in Man Down with Greg Davies.
Wozniak was Greg's angry accountant friend in Man Down. Jamali Maddix I only know from various panel shows (I know he's done Last Leg a couple of times).
Mike Wozniak should be good.

The latest Grand Tour is a bit crap.
Taskmaster Champion of Champions 2 has also been confirmed for 2021.
I really would love a losers special one day.

If you don't know who Charlotte Ritchie is, go and watch Ghosts on iPlayer. It's bloody brilliant and there is a christmas special on the way.

Superheroes yes indeed.
Started on Jack Ryan this week - it's almost like a 24/Looming Tower/Homeland type plonk. Entertaining.
What’s new Grand Tour thing called? Is it still on Amazon? Can’t find it.
It should still be on there, under season 4 episode 2. "The/A Massive Hunt".
Weirdly I find that and when I play it’s the boat one.
Mandalorian.

That was brilliant.
Pretty damn hyped for the spin off series they announced via a post-credits scene too.
