Signed Camavinga and Demiral on permanent deals. Got Trincao on loan to buy.
Not sure what role to play Camavinga. Game recommends DLP but his physical attributes are so good, seems like something more dynamic might get more out of him.

You can sign anyone - it has a bug where most players will be refused a work permit on initial transfer but on appeal 3 months later they get accepted. I had 18 year old Brazilian nobodies getting them.
Ah, I never bother appealing. Perhaps I should if that's the case (at least until it's fixed in a patch).

I saw your earlier post about playing it through the middle being the thing. Is spaffing it through the middle for a pacey finisher to run onto a game-breaker again?
I'm not gonna play the game, the idea of that just brings back happy memories of Hernandez scoring me a billion goals in FM11 or 13, whichever it was.
In a nutshell, yes. They've made attacking interplay so good this year that defences struggle against anything highly attacking, primarily 3 striker formations. Get 3 front man with pace/acceleration above 14 and you're gonna score for fun.
I smashed WBA 6-0 and then lost 3-1 to some Serbian farmers with only one real player, with all of their goals coming from a counterattack. At least I’ve not gotta worry about the Europa League, I guess.

They got Camavinga and Demiral in the summer for me. In November I clicked onto Haaland's transfer offer page to see what his release clause is and the 'ask board to negotiate transfer for you' thing was there so I tried my luck and they've arranged a deal for January.

It probably isn't the spec anymore. They all get slower over the years. Personally I'd just try it. If it's too slow then get a new laptop, you can install it on the new one from your Steam Library anyway.
Probablem is my current laptop struggles with FM11. The fan inside goes nuts and it runs quite slow. Albeit could be due to the amount of data stored from nearly 60 seasons.

For £500 you can get one of the newer Ryzen 5 CPUs or get that i3 turned into an i5 or maybe an i7
The game does run pretty smoothly compared to the older days now though, so the one you linked would be fine to play it on most likely. I'd just maybe opt to spend that bit more if you plan on playing for 50+ years again personally.

I'm currently finding it impossible to get rid of Andros Townsend and Max Meyer despite being willing to take half their value and Dann and Benteke can't be given away. Take that how you will.
