Bang on.
I've got Ł80 for an office chair. Again suggestions welcome.

My suggestion is don't eat for a fortnight and spend double that. Your back will thank you.
Depends how long you spend at your desk. My shitty dining room chairs get the job done now because I'm pottering about every 20-30 minutes.
I'll see you in the virtual staff kitchen on Monday for a chit-chat.
Is ‘BW’ a commonly known way to end an email, that I don’t know?
‘Thanks for this.
BW,
Abi’
It better not be a shorthand ‘best wishes’ cos jeez that’s lame.
I'm a twit
Is Abi just a few pounds short of BBW status?
I've not seen it before. I have a colleague that does KR which has always seemed odd to me.
I did used to work with a bloke that used Warm Regards, but it was done intentionally for the bantz.
If you can't even be arsed writing best wishes or kind regards then leave it off. I basically stop saying hello / kind regards with people I know (especially in a chain - how weird is it to keep saying Hello!).
I greet everybody in the email chain individually, and then give them each a personalised farewell at the end of my email. It's only polite.
I'm a 'cheers' sort of guy unless I need to suck some serious powerful dick which is rare.
'Bubbly Woman'.
"Kind regards" is just part of my signature. I changed it after I accidentally sent "King retards" a few years ago.
One of my wanker clients signs off with "rgs", which is probably the worst thing ever.
thks
I am unimportant enough that I can put cheers, igor, and get away with it. My job role wasn't even allowed email until about 9 months ago.
SvN has it right.
Regards for proper emails, Rgds for quick internal ones.
The real problem comes in Spanish, where I tend to go Saludos ('greetings') but many customers put Un Saludo ('one greeting'), suggesting I may have some kind of inferiority complex when it comes to weight of greetings offered.
What the fuck is Rgds, this isn't Club Penguin ffs.
So....
Back in March, I was ineligible to be furloughed, init. So I've been campaigning with others since then. In that time I've had about 4/5 pieces in various papers , had MP signed EDM, had the debates in the House of Commons, had the biggest APPG in parliamentary history (now stands at at 280), spoke on LBC, spoke on BBC Radio Wales, all that twitter business which @phonics said is pretty good numbers, 1 in 4 people visiting my page, this week, we've had the mayors of Liverpool and Manchester get on board, Keir Starmer finally speak up and tomorrow.....
Tune in to Good Morning Britain with Piers Morgan around 7.15am if you want to see my ugly mug. BOOM!
give me a shout out Smiff.
Smack Piers about whilst screaming TTH.
Stewart Lee, Question Time and now Piers Morgan. You cannot stop this forum from having a cultural impact.
Don't forget Gary Speed.
Also, what was the QT thing?
P.S. genuinely proud of you Smiff. I’ve made fun of you on the past but you’re doing good work for a good cause and going from strength to strength. Hyuge congrats.
And we broke the Jaaskelainen story.
Stefan Postma.
That's the one.
I presume it'll be youtube-able when I wake up at 9 because I'll be fucked if I'm downloading the ITV app.
This is your chance at primetime TV, don't waste it with some run-of-the-mill cameo that will have no impact. You got to go viral in this day and age to actually make a point. I'd suggest:
- practicing breaking down in tears
- making up a powerful sob story
- digging up relevant dirt on Piers and confronting him about it
- "FUCK HER RIGHT IN THE PUSSY"
Smiffy's luck Piers Morgan will suddenly revert to type and berate him for being a snowflake.
Thank you. That's not all though!
I've had a number of zoom meetings with Plaid Cymru to get more involved which has led to further meetings with local candidate, the MS for my region and that's where I hope to take myself after this campaign is over but better than that just yesterday my local MS and I had a zoom meeting and he's linked me up with a mental health and social change charity to work alongside us to help those who are really struggling with the mental health strain of it all.
I think if I was to take a positive from this year it's that it's opened my eyes up, I've met some fantastic people, received help where I least expect it and now I want to try and push on further after all this and do what I can. A few of the business owners who are part of our group want to help me set up on my own etc so it could be a good end to a bad year. For now though it's a case of continuing as I have been as I feel we're finally get somewhere.
Strong and stable.
All the while banging out 20+ seasons on FM.
Imagine if he pulls out of all this early...
Good job Smiff.
Go on then, someone post a link or something.
I'm a twit
That was nerve racking as fuck.
One of my tenants has had to be moved out of Essex after getting in trouble with a Romanian gang. I'm equal parts annoyed that it isn't an Albanian gang and that nobody I work with would get any of my jokes on the subject anyway.
