It's definitely been knife and fork for all of my life.
It's definitely been knife and fork for all of my life.
Americans probably say fork and knife because they are absolute retards.
And hold them in their fists like how Spoonsky writes.
Put your socks and shoes on before you leave muggers.
Can confirm never heard fork and knife. Would have put that in Klopp English rather than the other way round.
My rule is short word first for elegance. French and Saunders were pretty good. Saunders and French would have been heckled out of a few comedy clubs and never heard from again. It's a no for 'women and men'.
Mokkers and having a mare. Name a better duo.
Fork and knife is 'stop the conversion to pull someone up on it' mental.

Powerful fork and knife crew.
I guess it's just how the alpha's roll.
Let's all laugh at the mong(s).
You got me good

No way is "knives and forks" ever preferred to "forks and knives" though, on that I won't budge
Shall I tell him or does anyone else want to...?
Mokbull backed me on taking the l-gate but Ive got to say Ive only ever heard knife and fork. I cant remember any of my American friends reversing it growing up. My only defence of Mokkers here is that I regularly had to ask for a knife in American households as they use it as a multitensil more than us.
For some reason, fork and knife sounds more natural to me. Must be a(n) (North) American thing.
Two veg and meat.
Pace and Hale.
Ball (rip) and Cannon.
I am also now going to have to listen for how people say knife and fork here.
'Fork and knife' just makes everyone sound like an angry Irishman asking for a knife.
RealClearPolitics, which appears to be fairly legit, has flipped 4 states back to white putting Biden below the threshold. Imagine the scenes
That news networks call states is a total farce.
I know you're being tongue in cheek, but it is. They're announcing the results of an election before the results have been finalised. Doubt it will change anything, but what's wrong with the system we use? Votes are cast, counted and then the winner is announced at a town hall. Takes all of this bullshit away.
That's because they're counting votes on state level which is equivalent to, say, the whole of the north of England being a single parliamentary constituency. It would take days and the Sky News would get many rounds of intermediate results in just the way their networks are over there.
And while I'm at it, how in the sweet fuck are they still counting?
Does post go by horse in the US?
Did you miss the whole part of the Postal service being forced to go slow or that they couldn't count them until election day in certain states?
British superiority over Americans expands into all realms.

Why are we so pathetically obsessed with receiving a phone call before France or whatever? Why does it matter who he calls first? Is international politics conducted on a school playground basis?
That's too soon anyway.
I had never really appreciated quite how poor turnout usually is for US Presidential elections.
Is that a function of the Republicans trying to stop half the country voting? Neither of Barry O's victories were on a turnout higher than the 2016 election?
The most votes ever thing is also starting to grate a little. Isn't that as much of a function of a growing population as it is an energised turnout? Did Hilary get the most votes ever last time, seeing as turnout was at least 4%+ higher than every election since 1968 (when I would assumed there were less people in America)?
Yeah, I hadn't figured that no one actually voted for the other chumps in Obama's elections.
Harris will get like 50 million because she is a cop.
Right wing PM Scott Morrison has congratulated Biden on his win.
Trump TV is going to be amazing
Edit: It also happened 3 days ago I missed it.

You can now get 1.1 on Biden on Betfair Exchange.
Apart from actually being the most votes ever, this was also the highest turnout (relative to eligible voters) in more than a century: https://www.marieclaire.com/politics...-turnout-2020/
I think the Electoral College has a lot to do with the perennially low turnouts. Every year people in 43/50 states know their vote isn't going to make a difference, because they live in a solid red or blue state, which makes it a lot easier not to give a fuck.
https://www.mprnews.org/story/2020/1...ver-biden-sign
A suburban Minneapolis man who told police he's a supporter of President Donald Trump is accused of attacking an elderly couple with a golf club after he saw them at a street corner with a Joe Biden sign.
I've found alot of value in replying "Biden will NEVER be my president" to basically any Americans tweet. The enthusiasm you get from both sides is great.
