Is it me or are EA mostly smashing it with the Objectives this year? Especially the Silver ones - although why I still come across people who have shit silver teams I don't know. It's cheap enough to build a decent team.
Yeh they’re great. The friendlies stuff has been really fun and kept me playing. I almost wonder if it’s worth sacking off all the competitive stuff and just focusing on that.

Packed a UCL Goretzka so I've sold my other normal one which gives me another first owner card in my first team.
Fuck all chemistry but that's the best team I've beaten (4-3 but it should have been more and 2 of theirs were lucky) on legendary so far.

4-5 now after 9 games. I don't know what the patch has done exactly, but a lot fewer goals than last week and it's all a bit turgid as a result.
I've played Dembele once and he tore me a new one. He's a monster up front.
7-8 at the halfway stage. Gameplay feeling better now.
I'm kinda tempted to do Oyarzabal - he looks pretty solid other than missing 4* skills. Will be useful for FO team as well or for lobbing into an SBC once he's done. Reminds me of Asensio from last year who I used quite a lot.
Figured I would play a bit of Kounde (since its there for two weeks) while watching the United game on replay.

The Isco SBC is out. Two 84s.
I did him in anticipation of using him for the Kounde stuff. Stuck a hunter on him and he has been decent enough so far. Some very good finishes across the keeper.
I use Dembele out there so not sure he'll get in the team, but would be tidy as a sub. Isco looks not bad value but a very average card. Even with a couple of upgrades he'll be meh.
I also picked up a Ziyech OTW for 140k. The way he's going he seems sure to pick up a TOTW (today possibly) or some other time. Just wish I'd have got him when he was 80k a week or so ago

I was thinking of grabbing Dembele and starting one of them on the right. Probably a better option than Portu

3-1 down in Rivals after 25 minutes to some scumbag who did full celebrations for each of his goals only for Forsberg to score a further 3 (he also scored our first, a penalty) and sink the bastard.
Forsberg is now on 9 games, 21 goals and 8 assists. All on Rivals (with a couple of rage quits) and legendary SBs.
No idea how it works. The way he's going he seems like he'll get another at some point. Worst case I'll try him out and flog him if I don't get on with him.
I'm thinking the same with Oyarzabal. Portu is excellent at running fast in straight lines...and that's about it

BIG European Nights coming up. And erm ... England duty.
Pretty good night all in all yesterday. Packed IF Gnabry twice in back-to-back packs, and started fairly well in WL despite having a disconnection loss which put me at 3-5 at the time.
I took the opportunity then to finish off Forsberg and along with unlocking Sabitzer at level 30, I mixed up the midfield and went back in for a couple more matches. I won both comfortably and that leaves me 5-5 (5-4 without the DC). I've since packed 2 IFs as well as Reus from MMs and the packs back from Forsberg, a good haul overall.
Going to try and get up to Elite for SB today, and then push for 14 wins in WL tonight.
Good stuff thommo, particularly given the calibre of opponent you seemed to be facing when I was watching.
9-9 now. 5 wins from 12 games needed.
