Looks interesting. The framerate adds to the weirdness.

As much as it makes my skin go prickly, Phonics is right. Nobody should watch that badly animated shite.
Is Sons of Anarchy worth starting?
It's worth sticking with. It definitely drops but worth watching for the realistic depiction of Northern Ireland.
Currently watching Bosch, generally enjoyable cop drama.
Forget that then I'll watch that fishing programme.
Apparently Archer has kinda returned to form?
Taskmaster is back on October 15th, 9pm.
It’s on channel 4 now isn’t it? Good knows how they’re going to fill their quotas with only 5 contestants.
Yes.
The contestants are: Daisy May Cooper, Johnny Vegas, Katherine Parkinson, Mawaan Rizwan and Richard Herring.
How many are physically disabled or on the spectrum?
Richard Herring probably qualifies.
The exactly two women, exactly one ethnic formula is more or less a hard and fast regulation with panel games now.
That seems more BBC than channel 4.
This fishing programme is amazing.
Finished watching Glitch on Netflix. Cracking little Australian show about some people who come back to life in a small town. Well acted and a great cast (of relative unknowns, as far as I can tell).
Mortimer/Whitehouse is barely even a fishing programme, though it is class.
Just seen that Star Trek: Discovery is back on the 16th.
Didn’t think it was so soon. Class.
Just started watching schitts creek and the fall.
Late to the party, but are they worth my while continuing?
Just pretend The Fall ended after series 1.
I've mooted that a few times but never actually taken the plunge. I might bump it up "the list" now.
I'm in the midst of an X-files run-through at the moment. I got as far as the film years ago and stopped, and forgot what was going on completely so had to re-start. I'm about to finish season three. So only about ten thousand episodes left to go.
I want to hear your ongoing opinion on Agent Doggett, @Alex.
I'm a twit
When does he come in? I'm a while off yet, right?
It's reached that point at that moment where Scully's ongoing scepticism is getting a bit daft. She's seen more unexplainable phenomenon than you could shake a stick at now (Toggle Spoiler) and her default setting is still "oh, I don't know Mulder, there's a perfectly logical explanation.....".
It's also reached that point where it's increasingly becoming all about what an absolute lad Skinner is.![]()
Season 8. And then it’s uphill from there.
Skinner is indeed an absolute lad. I proper love it. It does become a bit of a slog in parts though.
I only started rewatching it cos the new series was coming out and channel 5 was showing like ‘the 24 xfiles episodes you must watch’ so I watched the first two and then it suggested skipping a load, but I was enjoying it so just carried on through them all.
Episode 7 of season 9 is one of the best standalone episodes of any tv show ever, whether you’ve watched any others or even know who any of the characters are. I’ve rewatched it twice since I finished the whole lot.

Schitt's Creek is brilliant. It starts off a bit iffy and the characters all seem like unlikeable arseholes, but it's honestly fantastic once it gets into its groove.
Why is Bob Mortimer getting too excited and falling over so funny.
Watched the first 3 episodes of Derry Girls today and I think it's absolutely brilliant.
I had passed it on Netflix so many times and finally decided to give it a go as I couldn't find anything else.
Just watched the latest episode of The Boys:

The "Jersey Devil" episode! That initial drawing he gets really tickled me the first time I saw it. It's just hilarious how he instantly takes that as definitive proof of its existence. In a similar vein, the episode where he goes to South America (to an abandoned observatory or something) and the bloke draws him this excellent artists impression of the UFO's he has seen on the wall:

The Boys:

Finished Humans, which ended in a good place I think. Definitely scope that they could've gone on with it and taken it further but equally it felt like a tied-up ending. Working my way through Ghosts now, which is excellent. Although Mary bothers me because witches weren't burned in this country and I feel like the entire cast of Horrible Histories should probably have picked up on that.

GLOW has been cancelled.
Netflix has changed their decision to give it a fourth season due to Covid.
That's a bit of a shame but it had been increasingly a bit meandering. Or may just focusing on the stuff I was less interested in. Though I didn't realise this was planned to be the final season until I saw a headline so that's a bit of a pisser.
Boys finale:

The Boys S2 finale was excellent.
Line of Duty series 6 being filmed at the moment apparently![]()
