Andy has renewed it for another year. The code to join that one is j5g6kp
EDIT: I’ve scrapped the idea of a paid league. Let’s just play for fun.

15%? 5%? Don't dilute my takings ffs.
Happy to listen to other suggestions.
Having a prize just for first place can kill everyone’s interest early, imo.
I'm a twit
If anyone's interest is at risk of being killed, they ain't making top 3 anyway. And if their interest is maintained by 5%, they probably need us to crowdfund to get them their weekly groceries.
50% to the winner, then split the rest depending how many people join.
I've renewed the normal league.
Andy, is there a code for that? I realise I disrespected it by exiting and I'd like to formally ask yourself and fellow competitors to forgive me.
I'll join once everyone has signalled their acceptance of my apology via pms.
This looks an absolute nightmare this year. They really ought to reconsider the classifications of players and maybe change the squad balance (4 midfielders and 4 attackers with the ability to play 4-2-4) if they're going to increasingly insist on every forward actually being a midfielder. Having the fixtures should provide some clarity, but with the transfer window open for ages past the start of the season and some teams not likely to actually start the season on time it feels there are going to be inbuilt structural issues that you'll need to be on top of before a ball is kicked.
It has a very four four fucking two approach to the midfield/forward divide. If it took a 4-3-3 approach then it would lead to a better game imo.
Martial's a forward this year.
Aubamayang and Rashford have both been moved to midfield.
FPL defines a forward strictly as someone who plays through the middle. So any wide forwards are midfielders.
I'm declaring gift aid on this:
Will obviously change due to fixtures and getting rid of Davis but I kept him in so Giggles could appreciate the bench.
Aubameyang as a midfielder. You wot
Done well to get Salah, KDB and Auba, and not have a complete travesty of a team, Davis aside.
I'm a twit
Will Henderson starts as Man Utd No1?
Wouldn't have thought so.
I like my team but I made it without factoring in week 1 fixtures so it needs tweaks and I need to decide if I'm bold and going for a wildcard in week 2.
I’ve changed my team about 10 times now
Yeah, I've ensured seethe whatever the outcome with the amount of changes I've made. The most recent development that had me in torment was whether to sacrifice a 12m midfielder for TAA or not.
Edit: Batty to Palace has fucked me up all over the gaff ffs.

Yeah I've made too many changes and hate my team. Will certainly be wildcarding when the transfer window closes, if not before GW2.
I mean, it's got goddamn James Milner in it.
I'm a twit
I think I've finally settled on a squad.
McCarthy, Nyland/Steer; TAA, Doherty, Justin, Taylor, Lamptey; Salah, Aubameyang, Son, ASM, Armstrong; Vardy, Mitrovic, Brewster
Unsure about Armstrong but reasonably happy with that squad. Hopefully, Brewster leaves Liverpool or goes out on loan.
Armstrong is a gamble but you have a few event side way moves and loads of options at 6.0.
I've built a squad worth 99m, the extra 1m will be used to upgrade Son and one of Salah or Auba to KdB and Bruno.
Only swaps I'm looking at are Mane for someone and Wilson for Richarlison
You must have about 5m in the bank. What is that team
Obafemi is 4th choice.
Does sort of read like "oh he's invested in attack has he?" as you go through the team, only to find a bunch of budget plodders there too.
Every man and his dog seems to have Werner in his team which is putting me off slightly. I do quite fancy a Chelsea attacker, and he seems the most likely to get a game from any of the many and varied options, but being selected by almost 50% of players is a bit .
I've gone Ben White as my Brighton defender, I reckon he might play as a defensive midfielder for them which might see him more involved up the pitch. Otherwise the massive ballache of neither Manchester playing, and then coming into a pretty soft schedule of games continues. A gameweek 2 wildcard still looms large.
Aubameyang, Mané and Bruno Fernandes is not cheap. Sacrifices have clearly been made.
I'm a twit
I had the same issue and have ended up sacrificing Mané in order to keep the above two and also crowbar in what I suspect to be an underpriced Havertz.
I also have Werner, although it was a tight call over Jimenez.
Honestly if I do bad this year after so much overthinking, I’m gonna be sad.

Here's my current lineup. Fairly happy with it, but still deciding on a couple. Vardy is a bit of a punt, but he has decent fixtures week one and two - then he'll be switched to Martial.
I mean the world needs Brewster (4.5) to sign for Aston Villa or Brighton more than it needs a working Covid vaccine right now.

I think advanced wingers should really be classed as forwards on this
I'll be releasing my team at 10.59 on Saturday so set your alarms.
14/15 starters. 3 of my XI have single digit TSBs for that sweet sweet differential and price rise capacity.
4 of my XI are single digits.
I'm a twit
You mentioned James Milner above, don't waste my time.
I have someone sub 1% who, unless I'm missing something (which is very possible), should be a hell of a pick.
Jamal Lewis?
I'm a twit
lol, as if I would pick a Newcastle player.
Got him.
Very infuriating seeing so many similar looking teams. It really is a rubbish format but I have no idea how you fix it without going down a massive over-complication rabbit hole.
Gk: Johnstone and Button.
Defence: TAA, Robbo, Doherty, KWP and Webster.
Midfield: Aubameyang, Salah, Son, Pereira and Saint-Maximin.
Forwards: Antonio, Adams and Davis.
Is Che Adams actually going to do anything this season? He had a great pre-season last year then went goalless until July.
There's definitely some week 1 plunder to be had in knowing what midfield Liverpool might go with, both Keita and Minamino could pop up with Origi-esque contributions. At the same time, it could be total bog standard and neither of them feature.
I like Andy’s GK tactic.
His whole team is pretty frightening, actually.
