G’wan Mellin lad.
This is going to be a horrendous hangover.
Or a 2nd stretch inside.
Grealish won't be there at the start of the new season.
I dunno. He seems like one of those loyal idiots. He'll stay until they're relegated I reckon.
If a top 4 team doesn't want him then there's basically no point him going anywhere else. I'd stay there and be a Villa legend.
Yeah there's no point leaving just to go to Everton or something.
Have any of RL's mates bugged his kitchen yet so we know what the script is on the rumoured United bid?
Well, no point other than money.
But yeah, he should probably aim higher. Haven't the Spuds been keen on him in the past?
How old is he anyway? I'd be fascinated to see whether he could be moulded into a Firmino replacement at Liverpool, but I don't know if he's the right age for that really. In other loyal club men business I see Zaha may finally be off this summer. He's another one at a funny age, he can't really be going somewhere to be an understudy, but at the same time he doesn't walk into the top level team he'd probably want to go to, so North London, again, might be his best bet. Decent signing for someone if the reported Ł40m price tag is anywhere near accurate.
Grealish is decent and English. He will go to a top 4 club.
Which one? They'll all look at him and think the European equivalents come cheaper. Even Man siddy have a ready made Foden in the same position.
I think that match was his last at Villa. Spurs or someone similar will come in for him I think. The ŁŁŁ will be too tempting.
He's a decent player, i'm wondering would i prefer him at Liverpool over minaminaminamow. He'd obviously not be as cheap as the asian persuasion mind.
I always rated Grealish myself but Souness is a man to be taken seriously.
Grealish is better than Spurs, not to mention too expensive. He could go fucking anywhere he wants, really
He's good but let's not get carried away here. He probably could go anywhere in England because of his Home Grown status, but I doubt Barcelona are keeping tabs.
What's the aim next season Mellberg, do you reckon?
Watched the last 20 minutes of Villa yesterday. Would have hated that if I was a fan. Especially when Lanzini got that freekick, and obviously West Ham's goal.
They will be aiming for 17th like half the league.
It wasn't an easy game to watch. I was in the pub for it and barely said a word. Enjoyed approximately one minute, between the Grealish and Yarmolenko goals.
Next season, not sure. The foundations are there and it depends who leaves and where we are with FFP. The money's there to spend, though.
Heaton
Guilbert
Konsa (try to upgrade)
Mings
Targett
Douglas Luiz
McGinn
Hourihane (try to upgrade)
Grealish
PACE
New centre forward/Wesley
It's about time we stopped fucking about at the wrong end of the table/in the Championship. Time to show some stones and push on.

Still on course for that.
We were very lucky to get that absolute clown out the club within a year. Most clubs get stuck in the hands of those schysters for years once they have their foot in the door.
Think he said Champions League in five years, so we've one season to do it.
Fucking Villa.
I can't lie, as soon as West Ham equalised I was hoping for a winner then when that failed to happen I was watching Arsenal v Watford on Bet365 player thing hoping for a miraculous double with three minutes to spare. This is what "fuck you, pay me" does to a man.
Well played, Mellin.
Only a Liverpool fan could be bitter several years later about a club stopping them from swapping Xabi Alonso for Gareth Barry.
I'd be surprised if you even knew what year we were in tbh.
Villa should just give us Ł30m for Brewster and ensure their survival for the next 2 years, at least.
Failed Chelsea players however win you the league with consummate ease (cf the last 3 titles).
I'm not sure it works when you've owned half the players in circulation as youth prospects.
Trick is you mustn't buy them directly, they have to convalesce somewhere else first.
Dom Solanke will be a 30 goal a season man for Saudi owned Newcastle in 5 years.
'We're signing Liam Miller'
....why?
'Man Utd are selling him!'
Well yeah, he's shit.
'IF HE'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR UNITED HE'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR US'
.........
Disrespecting the dead when there's a perfectly good Wes Brown to be mocking.
I had forgotten he died. Whoops.
Sorry, back off any insults of Wes Brown immediately.
You're right, he's black AND ginger. Thet really will have you cancelled.
Proper Shindig to choose the one Sunderland player that was actually quite good for them.
I'm merely illustrating the non-United aspect of their buying policy. Was that all under Roy Keane's watch?
What's next, having a dig at them for getting Kevin Phillips?
Only because they couldn't get Scholes.
Weren't Sunderland just signing anyone who had pumped Rhodri's mrs at one point?
