Do you think it was a foul Andy?
Do you think it was a foul Andy?
Greenwood will blip like Rashford did but it's how he responds which will determine how good he is. His technical attributes are superb.
I can see why it’s been given too. I don’t agree that it should’ve been given though because it’s not a foul for me and I expect VAR to fix mistakes like that.
If that’s a foul, we should be telling all our youngsters to run at a player, stop the ball and just jump into them for a free kick. You could get 2-3 pens a game doing that.
No you wouldn't as it's a hard situation to replicate.
Pogba is back.
Is that a goal off a corner?
2 in 50 Kienan Davis on to save the day
Greenwood's power in his shots is actually absurd. That one wasn't even in the corner and was a decent height for the keeper but he didn't have a hope.
I read the other day that the players who routinely outperform xG by the most are the ones who are most two-footed, and he's about the most two-footed player in history.
I'm not an idiot, he's obviously not going to keep this level up, but I wouldn't be surprised if he continues to outperform xG by a good margin.
Just enjoy the fucking goals and stop noncing about xG.
Yeah he clearly strikes the ball very well. The numbers are Rashford breakout season esque which are certainly not bad.
What concerns me with United is that while the line up that has started the last few games is excellent, as soon as changes are made its proper mid table (see Norwich game or last 15 of other recent games). Doesn't bode well when you consider the injury record under Solskjaer.
Depth-wise they've got 'Alexis' to come back.
The latter surely isn't happening, at least not at the sort of prices doing the rounds, if Paulp Ogba is staying.
It'll depend how much of the dross we can shift I imagine (Lingard, Pereira, Mata, etc.)
Grealish has played himself into a move to Everton over the last 10 games.
That was so, so spineless from Villa. Completely finished. Manager should've been sacked in December.
World he not be a good bet to get them back up?
Ah. My mistake. He did well last season, but he's tainted by whatever the fuck this shitshow has been with the supporters and probably the players. Think you're better off starting again.
He's been just as shit as the players, basically.
Jesus, just seen the pen decision. Has any decision been made on VAR for next season? Please get the fuck out of my sport.
Dion Dublin pitching for a government advisor role on MOTD2
I'd give it two meetings before one too many glances at his package send him down the black supremacy route.
Sol Campbell is a Tory isn't he? Get him in the Lords.
Fucking Mourinho
Kane needs to shift to Utd sharpish, his lack of pace means he needs attackers around him and he ain't getting that in a Mourinho side.
As I was only casually observing I didn't fully appreciate quite how bad that United penalty decision was.
Lordy.
Pogba's goal was a beaut as well. Reina looked a bit of a mug for both his and Greenwood's, although having defenders forming sight-blocking formations rather than closing the ball probably doesn't help.
Greenwood's shot power is ferocious. Watching the highlights, he really is Cazorla with his feet. Is he the real deal?
I reckon he might even be better than Adnan Januzaj.
What the fuck happened to him, Didn't England try and call him up to internationally early on?
He's a regular for Real Sociedad. He's having his best season, arguably.
And as soon as defenders start closing Greenwood down, he's knackered. Villa did nothing to stop him.

He apparently really didn't put the work in at Utd and suffered for it. A lot of the academy people maintain he's one of the most talented youngsters they've ever had and he should have been world class but only has himself to blame. Like Ravel Morrison without the witness intimidation.
You have to wonder if Greenwood's physical limitations will restrict his true impact though. He'll bang in 30 a season if the team is doing well but he's hardly going to change games singlehandedly when he weighs the same as three bags of sugar and has the pace of a sporty high-school kid.
I think style-wise he's more Diego Forlan than 'RvP'. He comes deeper, he runs with it, and nobody could twat it off both sides like Forlan could.
The road to glory for Atalanta looks set. That is until they get twatted 8-1 by Bayern in the final obvs.
Bayern have got to beat us first, and let me tell you the Chelsea Football Club led by Frank Lampard OBE will be no pushovers even needing to score four unanswered away goals.
baeyrn have been scorching since the restart. They really should go all the way. PSG hasn't played a competitive game since early March.
Wolves have Sevilla or Roma if they get through. Easy work.
Inter Milan or Getafe vs Rangers or Bayer Leverkusen
Lask or Manchester United vs Istanbul Basaksehir or Copenhagen
Wolfsburg or Shaktar Donetsk vs Eintracht Frankurt or FC Basel
Do you think Messi's acceleration and strength are unremarkable or that his midget height and increased muscle density are myths? Just so I'm clear what fire I'm attempting to piss on.
Well given Greenwood keeps up with the rest of our strikers on the break, I guess I'll just go with "he's only got 1 leg"
Greenwood is about as impressive physically as you'd expect an eighteen year old footballer to be. Let's not forget Cristiano Ronaldo was a skinny bully victim at eighteen.
His entire physical profile is reminiscent of Robert Lewandowski when he first pitched up at Dortmund, actually.
That is how it's done RL, you little gremlin.
