Bournemouth so so bad. Just stand off and let him shoot lads.

Same question for them - who is going to be off in the summer? Ake? Brooks? That Lloyd Kelly chap was rated when he moved there last summer wasn't he?

Does the whole of the ball across the whole of the line rule not apply there? Because it definitely wasn't.

    Oh well, classic Bailly.

Once given there's not enough doubt to overturn it. Where does the shoulder cover? It does look to hit the top of his bicep but it's hard to tell.

The line is in the box, so any part of the ball on or over the line and it's in the box.

Iffy decision but christ knows what the play was building up to it and we're lucky he's gone offside too.

So was Matic actually offside for that freekick or was he not interfering?

Looked miles on at the time when they did the replay so christ knows where those lines have come from.

They'll make a hefty profit from their stay and have another go in a couple of years. I doubt they're too bothered.

It probably means his chance conversion is off the charts and perhaps whatever that rate is is unsustainable in the long term.

Or he scores lots of unexpected goals?

The one against Brighton and the first today were clear goalkeeper errors.

Meanwhile I see Leicester have managed to snap themselves out of the funk they were in. Fully expected that to be 0-0 when I looked at the score.

The average player would score 2-3 goals from the shots he has taken this season, he's scored 8. The very best finishers (Messi, Kane, Lukaku etc.) outperform xG by about 20% so it would be reasonable to predict that he's going to have a goal drought before long as he regresses to the mean, especially if you consider that he likes taking shots from unfavourable positions.

He does seem quite good though I agree.

The logical conclusion is that he's much better than Messi.

This week it’s 6/6 so far with two left. Newcastle to beat West Ham and Sassuolo to beat Lecce tonight.

I picked Sassuolo and am now terrified. £2k between us if it comes in.

Yeah spotted that and edited it. It’s tomorrow though. If I’m right tonight it kills it and I might actually have to pray for the draw tomorrow so I don’t feel guilty.

So what’s the consensus on the kids?

    Martinelli - great
    Saka - great
Maitland-Niles- solid but needs a position
    Willock - not good enough
Nketiah - needs to go out of loan
Nelson - not even close to being good enough

What happened to smith-Rowe? On loan in the championship?

Wilock looks better than niles. Niles is a worse versioj of john o'shea. Based on this Areta system, Nketiah stays and they will sell Laca or Auba because of him
