I wonder what "Dom" has on Lewis.
I wonder what "Dom" has on Lewis.
He has his dog hostage. The pictures he shows us are the ones Dom's taken. Dom maintains it's not theft though and Lewis is merely adopting him.
I'm the only person here who has seemingly bothered to read the regulations. I'm right. The rest of you aren't.
Hahahahhahahah
I must admit I haven't read the regulations. I've watched the press conferences, I've seen the goverment tweets and sound bytes and seen the adverts on tv. All of them state do not, if showing symptoms, leave the house. Let alone do a 300 mile journey or whatever.
I dont deny there some slight clause he can use to pathetically worm his way out of this, legally. But if you really think this is faux outrage you're pretty naive to be honest.
It's some real weirdo behaviour.

Even if he didn't break the rules (he did break them, albeit not in a way I am personally bothered about - both my next door neighbours were doing worse daily), he/the government have handled it like utter mongs.
The distance will set people off. Most people don't live 260 miles from their folks. It's essential travel but it's long as fuck.
This is very Harold of Lewis.
I haven't read one of his posts for about 4 pages, so you're not wrong.
It's not what he did so much as who he is. If you had a hand in writing the most draconian rules that have been put in place since... well, possibly ever, then you have to be seen to wear those rules as a badge. If the badge slips, or drives 260 miles when it should be at home, then people are going to get the ump.
I think we should invite Harold back.
Sports Direct is back open 15 June. I'm going on my own though you can all fuck off.
Think this is the first day we’ve had no reported deaths since back in the beginning of it.
Oh, Boris. You and your straight talk."Possibly it would be reasonable to assume that they will take steps to self-isolate somewhere where they can make sure that they are provided for, but obviously if they can't then local authorities are ready to make sure that they are well looked after."
I couldn't be arsed to sit through Boris's latest round of bollocks, but from what I see still no indication (legally, before anyone else suggests I break rules to do it) of when household visits might be allowed?
I couldn't give a shit when Robert Dyas re-opens.
Non-essential shops are reopening from 15th June. I'd say that's the back-to-normal point.
My cousin had his Mum come for the night on the weekend.
They also came to see us but only in the garden.
One of my neighbours was having family over throughout and now has gatherings of friends in his garden every night. The other was having various family members over throughout.
It kind of rankled during the danger period, but we are blatantly out of the danger period now so I don't know why they are allowing re-opening of the fireplace shop Monday, the greengrocer's Wednesday but seemingly have no interest in restoring anyone's sanity.
I think a lot of it is that the lived experience of both scientific advisors, government people, and everyone else involved in decision-making is very narrow - they are all highly educated, probably 98% prosperous people with families and gardens. They haven't got a clue about the reality of being in a flat with one, two or three rooms and no (if you follow the rules) access to family and friends. I'm partly whingeing on my own behalf here but there are millions worse off than me.
It's a nice two week gap to see how low we can get the numbers down before opening.
Went in to see mum today. Then my step brother came round to mine later with his dog and his teacher bird.
We had the in-laws briefly in our garden this morning.
The only thing that's been consistently trolling the Great British Public more than dear old Deadly Dom is the fucking weather. When was the last time (the whole of!) Easter and both May bank holidays were absolute belters? Bet it's never happened before.

Apparently they all needed an eye test.
lol
Assuming that's legit, Lewis is going to love those apples. Rules are rules.
He didn't break any rules, dickhead.

Vision. You MUST be able to read a vehicle number plate, in good daylight, from a distance of 20 metres (or 20.5 metres where the old style number plate is used). If you need to wear glasses (or contact lenses) to do this, you MUST wear them at all times while driving. The police have the power to require a driver to undertake an eyesight test.
Laws RTA 1988 sect 96 & MV(DL)R reg 40 & sch 8
We might see the best of Lewis in the coming weeks. He'll be desperate to regain the crown.
Rules are rules, so he should be fined/whatever for that. But you still can't get him on anything else.
After listening to the neighbours have a party all evening yesterday there’s little point in me not seeing my folks while nobody else gives a fuck.
So you're saying he's done something wrong?
How about endangering his child?
He wasn't fit to drive and yet had the kid in the back.
Did the government ever encourage the public to actually read the in detail guidelines?
Seems pretty new that thus “clause” is being highlighted. If the government had said “oh yeah but if you’re really worried just drive anywhere else and isolate there” it would have been carnage. We’d have been arguing it whilst in the midst of the peak.
The government wanted people staying in their own communities and that’s what they told them. Now they’re saying it’s reasonable not to do that?
Lol at all the grotesquely fat cunts thinking a mask will save them rather than going on a diet or doing exercise. Mon the covid.
Little point in someone going on a diet unless they can travel back to this time last year and get a crystal ball. Anyone wearing a mask is better than that same person not wearing one.
A huge amount of people would fail that test with or without a covid infestation. Over here you have to have an eye test and buy prescription glasses for driving if you’re even a bit off. The only test I remember getting in the UK was asking if I could read a license plate from a measure at best described as ‘responsibly social distancing’.
I dropped from 16 stone to just under 13 stone in 2 months a few years back and at the worst have maintained that weight since. It’s not hard it’s just people don’t want to count the calories.
Whenever I see fat cunts on Facebook giving the big one about losing 2lb at Slimming World when they weigh the best part of 20 stone I always think to myself imagine what the fat cunts could do if they had a bit of self-control if you are that big you can lose half a stone a week without really trying for several weeks.
You can until you hit 30 and your metabolism stops.
But if you are that big you can get your metabolism going by doing some gentle exercise it doesn’t even have to be that much.
