Do you think he rounds them up and stones them to death in his spare time? It would be a good bit of fun, I suppose, if you could get away with it.
Believe me, I am well aware of the situation in almost every country around the world and also where my own personal line is. I can live with ex-KGB goons discouraging it in schools - that's not an awful long way from what happens in the west. Thatcher was doing the same here 30 years ago. I can't live with it being against the law, let alone it carrying the death penalty, let alone the death penalty being regularly enforced.
Saudi is at the absolute bottom of the pile, the lowest of the low. It's a total embarrassment that any sport takes their money or FIFA allows them to be members, etc.
Plus they’re not bankrolling your club.
Abramovich looks like he should have a carer with him.
I'll probably just keep my exile going from St. James' Park. No money in. Supporting a club requires nothing from you and you can circumvent the owners completely.
Wouldn't catch Giggles bringing something up from years ago.
No, it wasn’t quite ten. Make a proper point you idiot.
That’s no point at all, you’re playing the man and not the ball here which is usually a sign of having fuck all to add. Make a point instead of just telling me about me like you’ve droned on about for the majority of your input on this.
He’s basically saying that his cunts are ok but other cunts aren’t, because it suits him. And then wrapping it up as having lofty principles.
I made it very clear what my objection was to the Saudi state, and neither Abramovich, nor the Americans at Liverpool or United, nor David fucking Gold, nor Levy, nor any of the other billionaires (except the City lot, but to a lesser extent) fall into this category. It isn't a difficult concept to grasp.
My charge against them was not that they are cunts. If so we'd have to close the sport down for good.

Yeah, everyone's a cunt but you have to draw a line somewhere. And being on the near side of that line doesn't mean you're suddenly completely innocent and pure.
Saudi Arabia is 100% a good red line
City's owners should be called out at every occasion as well.
That's the only real angle I can fathom, really. Are they going to manage the club sensibly? I don't want them to chase after City's wallets and creative sponsor deals.
Am I being daft in not understanding how playing behind closed doors in a 'neutral venue' is materially all that different to playing behind closed doors at The Amex (as Brighton seem to be shitting the bed most over this)? And now lol at the idea of them being ok with it if you 'remove the threat of relegation'. What's the fucking point of completing the season if it has no meaning? May as well just call it now (or as at the last full round of games) or abandon it all together. I bet Brighton would be happy for every season to be played at neutral venues if you remove the threat of relegation, along with over half the fucking league.
Presumably the point of completing the season is to keep the product going. But it's all a bollocks.
Its to do with tv rights and sponsors.
The Dutch, Germans and frogs cant touch us and the Spanish in that regard, so its easy to close down and fuck it off.
Neutrality might have some weird 'we're controlling the spread' connotations with it. Neutral venues would be harder for the local fans to show up at short notice, etc.
EDIT: Back on the toon takeover, I think Covid might knack it. The Saudi's oil economy must be shitting itself dry at the minute. Their finance minister is talking about tightening the belt.

Yeah, I get why you'd have neutral grounds, I don't get the backlash against it other than pure self-interest in avoiding relegation.
If you're losing the home advantage in X games then, surely, by definition you are gaining that same advantage in Y away games?
Exactly, they just want any excuse to put forward the idea of no relegation.
Yeah, but that's where it gets even more mental because moaning old Brighton have home games against Liverpool (lol), City (lol) and United (ok, so they've beaten them a few times in recent seasons). Maybe Arsenal too? Bankers.
Yeah, Brighton's specific situation is funny because they'll probably be better off playing at neutral venues. But on paper, I do understand the argument. Bournemouth, for instance, have Palace, Newcastle, and Southampton to play at home, and City, United and Wolves to play away.
If we start a season with no relegation, no fans, neutral stadiums, no idea if there will be european football to qualify for next season and Liverpool have basically already won the league then what is the point?
There's nothing worse than watching/supporting a team going through the motions with 10 games to play, this would be a whole league going through the motions.
I'm not sure what the right move is, but the PL shouldn't be making decisions now.
Because the people need cheering up with Premier League Footie. Government seem to be bang up for the restart.
Stiffing Liverpool would cheer more people up than restarting the league. Get the behavioural scientists on it.
Dejan Lovren really is a deluded arse.

I've got two mates who have been sucked into this shit and the group chat is a real chaotic bundle of energy. Both former heavy weed smokers too, surprisingly.
QAnon, Bill Gates, Trump is our saviour, jesus.
