Wouldn't be surprised if half the OAPs who think this end up spiking a load of new cases congregating in queues for testing they didnt need.
From what I've read you stay in your car waiting and dont really see anyone.

I definitely want the anti-body test when it becomes available, assuming it's accurate. I reckon I had a mild case of it about a month ago.
Cheering stuff. The biggest study of Covid-19 patients in the UK shows a third admitted to hospital have died.
Just under half have been discharged, with the rest still being treated.
Prof Calum Semple, the chief investigator from the University of Liverpool, said the "crude hospital fatality rate is of the same magnitude as Ebola".
He said around 35-40% of hospitalised Ebola patients die.
"People need to hear this... this is an incredibly dangerous disease."
It's shit, but you also have to factor in that literally everyone that gets Ebola is hospitalised (or dies in their shack). The vast Majority of people that get this, can't even be sure they have it. Some get no symptoms, some think it might be a cold or the flu.
I would have CoronaVirus once a month for a year over getting Ebola once. It's ridiculous to compare them.
Most studies give estimates for the mortality rate to be around 0.5% or so. The virus itself is not super deadly (1 in 200 people is still fairly rough though), it's just that it spreads like wildfire. The comparisons with ebola are silly.
Petrol is the main one for me. 100 miles a week for work, nearly 200 miles up to Sunderland and back every other week, plus half the away games. I haven't put any petrol in since lockdown. I was also spending Ł50 a month playing football.
Shopping wise nothing much has changed; the main difference being we're having to remember everything in our one big shop of the week, whereas before I'd be nipping in for bits a couple of times a week.
It's hardly a surprise to me, but being able to work from home (online learning with the kids, more or less picking my own hours) and only leaving the house for exercise and a bit of shopping more or less suits me to a tee. Going into school for a little bit of normality also keeps things ticking over nicely.
Wetherspoons planning on reopening June/July.
Offt
That would be for the greater good
I once went to the South Croydon 'spoons before 9am on a Sunday, and let me tell you it contained some interesting fellows indeed.
Russia's numbers seem to have slowly started to explode.
The mother (60) has been self isolating after a resident tested positive in the care home she works. Relieved to report she is in the clear despite wiping his arse.
Has the UK really surpassed Spain and France for deaths? That's some come-from-behind effort.
Brazil are coming fast as well.
I was secretly hoping most of the care home patients were transferred into hospitals before death.
As was discussed at the time, we left the lockdown too late.
Ultimately it may not have a huge impact on the final toll as other incompetence will probably come to the fore, but we've lost more lives by this stage than we needed to, no doubt about that.

Financial Times reckons we're up to about 47,000.

Financial Times reckons I'm about to pay to read that shit.
The numbers.
Sorted by total deaths.
Sorted by Deaths per 1m pop
How good are us Asians.
@Giggles has just called me, and asked me to tell you "you're not Asian".
And all without level 4 lockdown. Lol
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-04-...cases/12201088Coronavirus recovery: ACT becomes first state or territory to be free of known cases of COVID-19
Aye, the ACT is such a boring shithole even a pandemic virus doesn't want to stay there for any length of time.
Does anyone think this virus was man-made?
I'm a twit
Thinking this is man-made is 'Paul is dead' level conspiracy thinking, given the same thing has happened repeatedly throughout history including when genetic engineering was just a twinkle in the blacksmith's eye.
Hasn't stopped 3 of my 4 managers at work circulating viral videos claiming it's a Chinese plot though (the other one is Russian and thinks the Salisbury Two were framed by MI5).
You say that, but have you compared the facial structures before and after the switch?
