Hadn't even attempted a kick over 50 yards until this year? The percentages are pretty typical for a college kicker, but given the lack of long range kicks that seems a bit lower than you'd like.

Also I think that completely rules out Fromm to NE.
They wouldn't take a kicker over him if they thought he had potential.
Goodwin to the Eagles.
I'm seriously wondering whether Fromm will go undrafted at this point. I was out on NE a while ago, and Chicago trading up to take Trevis Gipson was enough to convince me they're not interested either. I'm still expecting someone to take him at some point, maybe in round six, but I'd be looking at Minnesota as the most likely one yet.
Eagles definitely adding speed with Goodwin to go with Jalen Reagor. Curtis Weaver is a nice pick for the Dolphins too.
What's happening with Fromm. I'm sure I remember reading that he was a potential first rounder at one point.
He's not a good athlete, he's good an average arm & he's not as accurate as you'd believe. Even with all that, though, he should be long gone - he's got great intangibles & football IQ, and he's good enough as a passer to be a functional starter in the right spot.
Not sure anyone has any reason why he's falling, other than teams just not valuing that type of player at all anymore.
And there he goes. That's a really odd one, actually.
Financially At this point it doesn’t really matter. The difference in salary between round 4 and last overall is pretty minimal. 2.5 - 3.3million. Once you’re out of the top 2/3 rounds it’s almost irrelevant.
The worrying part is that teams clearly don’t really respect him as potential starter. There are anomalies as we all know, but it’s telling.
What’s weird is that josh Dobbs was what a second or third rounder? Mason Rudolph? Davis Webb? There’s been so many other dudes with a lesser resume given the green light by this point.
He looked pretty average last year, but he beat out Justin fields and Jacob eason and took his team to the national championship.
And well, chalk that one up with the hurts pick.
Ride the bench for three or four years son and pray for a miracle.
Like I said earlier, since guys like Mahomes & Loomar have blown up athleticism looks to have suddenly rocketed up the list of most important traits for a QB. Really feels like teams are just straight up not going to take anyone who can't play off script & give at least a bit of production as a runner.
Colin kaepernick and cam Newton say hello.
What’s happening with dalton too? Surprised the bengals haven’t tried to move him on. You’d assume burrow comes in as day 1 starter, or wee they assuming he’ll need to sit and take over when Andy shits the bed.
Nobody wants to sign Cam for zero draft picks, and they didn't want to pay a top 150 pick for Jake Fromm, so they're not going to trade for Andy Dalton & his $17m cap hit.
We clearly want to stop Henry this season.
Another run stuffing D-Lineman there.
Another good pick for Denver. Surprised Strnad last this long, but I think he was injured so maybe that's why.
EDIT: Yeah, torn bicep.
And another good one for Dallas.
@Ian you'd better be grateful for this draft class.
Have the Panthers taken any offensive players yet?
WE'VE GOT A LONG SNAPPER
He's not the one most people would've expected - Steve Wirtel from Iowa State is the other one who's likely to go - but he's the brother of Reid Ferguson, who snapped at LSU before him & currently snaps for Buffalo.
Chargers taking another safety? Alohi Gilman is good, but when is he ever going to play for them? I guess they'll have a fucking good special teams unit with him & Drue Tranquill on the squad.
DPJ to the Browns could be a good bargain. If nothing else he'll be delighted to learn what it's like playing with a quarterback who can hit the field with a pass.
Another kicker - Bass was the one generally expected to go first, so now we're just waiting on whether Hot Rod gets drafted or not. Also surprised Braden Mann hasn't gone yet.
EDIT: There he goes. All the special teams positions getting someone drafted this year (possibly multiple of each by the end). Would definitely not be surprised to see a handful more guys go before the end of the draft.

I presume that’s a son/nephew of the Jon Runyan?
Yeah, his son.
Fourth guy is Carter Coughlin from Minnesota, so expect him to be their next pick.
I'd like James Proche if he's still there with Ravens last pick. Although I can see us going secondary.
Everyone would like James Proche.
Eagles just loading up on speedy WRs with their day three picks
Timed well, we just traded up.
You motherfuckers.
Well that's pick 1.02 in the dynasty league sorted then.
What a draft from EDC.
Well obviously.
But on paper it's tremendous. We've drafted 2 well thought of MLB's, a potential starting RB, some great D-Linemen, O-Line help and WR help.
Bar safety we've hit every single one of our needs. There's a reason all the draft experts are raving about our draft this year, obviously it can all fall to shit but you can't judge that now.
Still no receivers
Another random player for the Patriots in Cassh Maluia.
I can't even find much about outside of a small write up on NFL's website and a small profile from his College.
That’s the whole point right? If you stick to your guns and the cards fall right you look
Like a genius. If you deviate because “best player available” you get hammered.
See the eagles / packers. In three years time the gm might look back and pat himself on the back for keeping around a qb. Nobody will thank him for that now, and if he doesn’t develop then it’ll follow him around that he wasted chances with one of the best around.
Baltimore are win now so easy to just go stringently with filling needs and on paper, job well done.
Jordan Mailata & Prince Tega Wanogho as your developmental tackles
Colts traded up to get ahead of themselves, as they also have the next two picks Turns out they traded Quincy Wilson to the Jets for the pick.
EDIT: Pleasantly surprised to see Freddie Swain get drafted. Kept flashing when I was watching Florida games.
Bengals have done a really good job rebuilding their linebacker room - Markus Bailey is a steal in the seventh round if he can stay healthy.

Oh come on Baltimore
We needed a nice safety
Seems that some outlets had a second round grade on him.
That's a bit strong, since he's not really going to offer much in coverage, but definitely 4 or 5 would've been fair.
Will be interesting to find out why Eno Benjamin & KJ Hill ended up falling to the seventh, as they were two more guys who would've been expected to go in the 4/5 range.
COLE MCDONALD TITANS STARTER 2022 BOYS He'd better spent the next two years growing the dreadlocks back though.
Another specialist off the board K/P Sterling Hofrichter. Syracuse about to get specialists drafted in back to back years (I think their kicker Andre Szmyt is eligible next year)
James Smith-Williams is an interesting late pick, and Ben DiNucci had some last ditch buzz as a guy who might get drafted, so that's cool. Still no Anthony Gordon or Nate Stanley though, which is a big surprise.

PFF scouts absolutely love him.
They had him 53rd on their big board.Good luck finding anyone other the PFF to have Iowa safety Geno Stone in their top 10 safeties, let alone in the top five where we have him. He’s not only the most underrated defensive back in the class, but the most underrated player regardless of position. As PFF draft gurus Mike Renner and Austin Gayle have preached, Stone had unreal instincts — he reacts quickly and is quick to make plays.
Over the last two seasons, Stone has produced the third-best PFF coverage in the FBS. He’s been responsible for minimal big plays downfield and he made more plays on the ball (11) than first downs allowed (9) while also allowing the lowest yards per coverage snap among safeties (0.25).
Prince Tega Wanogho? All is forgiven.
Oh shit, we've traded back in.
Err...what? Are we planning on using two Taysom Hill's? That's a really bizarre one.

Game over, no receivers.
Thanks
Strnad & Muti are both good players who fell due to injuries. If they were both healthy they could easily have both gone on day two. That line could be really nice now - Risner, Glasgow & Cushenberry are all good interior guys who could play all three spots, and if Muti's healthy you can use Risner to cover pretty much the whole line, or just let him compete with Bolles to start. Not sure who your swing tackle is, but that's seven really good guys to roll with at least. Not sure there's any real holes on that offence at this point
EDIT: And then two more to round it off. Tyrie Cleveland is an intriguing player - big & fast, will offer kick return value & straight line speed to go deep. Derrek Tuszka popped up at the Combine & looks like a good developmental pass rusher with some nice bend & hustle.

I will be stunned if he makes the roster. I'd probably be less surprised if Brees retired before the season.
If we wanted another Taysom Hill we should've just waited a year & taken Sam Ehlinger, who actually could be a good fit in that sort of role. Hell, we could've used Malcolm Perry, who just went to Miami.
EDIT: RIP Hot Rod He's not getting drafted, is he? Fingers crossed he's Mr Irrelevant.

If Thaddeus Moss isn't drafted I reckon he'll be one of the first UDFA that we target.
And Mr Irrelevant is...Tae Crowder. So yeah, irrelevant.
The UDFA scramble is underway - signings being announced already.
