Because this season is better best forgotten.
Given the way things have gone, and the promises of further waves and periodic lockdowns, I don't really see how any game is going to be played in front of fans this year. So either it's going to be behind closed doors, or this season and next are going to be rolled into one, or erased from history.
I reckon it'll probably be behind closed doors and West Ham will make a fortune out of the licensing for that fan noise CD they pipe through the PA system.
Nearly three years later and Ajax midfielder, Nouri has woke from his coma according to sky sports news. He suffered a cardiac arrhythmia attack in pre-season 2017
What timing, I think I'd ask them to put me back under for another six months.
There's this show on NBCSN over here called "Soccer Box" with Gary Neville and it's literally him and someone on a couch watching that person's highlights and commenting on them just like this.
They did a few so far as I can tell but I've only watched Rooney + Scholes.
I managed to find one on king of the pirate videos, Daily Motion.
It's incredible how crap football was back then. No-one connects with the ball properly, no-one is particularly fast, there is space everywhere. It's like when they put those 70s/80s FA Cup matches on tv and you realise no-one has got above walking pace for the majority of the game.

edit: Why does no-one do this, even Le Tissier says he never tried it again in his career. Seems so effective.

here's one from the comments with Carragher for those inclined but the quality is shit tbh
Actually hadn’t seen that before.
The Sensible Soccer camera is underused.
That's a proper route one hoof.
I whacked Sensible Soccer onto my SNES Mini, the other week. I'm terrible at it, but the memories...
Some finish for a lad that couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo these days.

Pretty sure that's the guide I used.
There's a retroarch file available that let's you put Mega Drive games on there, too, so I've been hammering Streets of Rage for the past week.
Mario64 loaded up, too, but without a proper controller, I couldn't move the fat little fucker around.
Scoring on the halfway line is all well and good but I loved ISS Deluxe where you could engineer a situation where your goalkeeper caught it on the halfway line and the game had nothing in place to call this a free kick for handball.
The Premier League channel on YouTube is offering me a selection of 'Legendary Goalline Clearances' today. I honestly couldn't have recalled one.
I can't think of one in the Premier League, certainly. How many of them are ones that were straight at the defender?
The only ones I remember involve Steven Taylor's arms.
Milner against Bournemouth the other week, or has that been expunged?
I suppose Stones or whoever sort of sat on that one that didn't go over the line by 1mm or whatever it was last season - would that count?
Didn't Van Dijk do something similar?
I heard goal-line clearance and I think of Henning Berg or John Terry's one from three yards behind the line.
Roy Carroll against Spurs/Pedro Mendes.
I watched the whole of that video of goal line clearances and I was disappointed not to see Liam Rosenior's stellar effort make the cut (1:20-ish onwards).
Well that's just gravity, that makes sense. @Disco
