It's so good.
Edit: At least that's what I say today but judging the idiots around me we're gonna be top of the pops before April.

Again our boss promised an update by lunchtime and again he hasn't delivered.
I live alone so I don't mind potentially shuttling from an empty flat to an empty office, if others need to wfh more, but fucking hell give us some information.
700 more cases today. If the vast majority of those are from people in hospital then, well, fuck me.
New York has over 2000 of the US 7500 cases.
Trump's insistence on calling this the "Chinese Virus" is beyond juvenile.
Don't the Chinese call it the American virus? Or at least try to for a while.
Today has been the busiest day of work I can recall for some time and exhausting work too. I've not been off the phone/Skype or Teams since basically 6am.
And I say that as someone who probably still has it very easy compared to others. This is going to wreck the economy for years.
Has that picture on the BBC News front page been placed there under instruction by the government to get people to take things seriously?
If so, good.
33 new deaths.
That's a doublin'
I did find it slightly amusing (for want of a better term) that the 'underlying health condition' the 45 year old who died had was motor neurone disease. Now, I'm no medical expert, I'm not even Yevrah, but I'd say motor fucking neurone disease is a bit more than an underlying health condition.
Jersey have gone big on school shutdown and seem to have another case which makes me wonder if they are worried about community transmission (seeing as all their other cases came from the instantly isolated). That'd be shit. Hopefully they're just being super cautious as they had a bunch of twats come back from Tenerife ostensibly refusing to self-isolate the other day.
The Chinese would have physically dragged the fuckers into quaratine.
And good on 'em, too.
Irish Racing continuing
They didn't just drag them in but they tested cases and refused them to leave until the results came back. We need that across Europe. This is the one time in history a Tyrant would do us good.
I went to Costco again today and there were more people than last week, more items out of stock and what they had was a little more sparse.
Also tried a Sainsburys too and a lot of aisles were like a barren wasteland.
The only meat between the two were sausages & bacon, a few bits of lamb at Costco and a small handful of steaks (I bought 4/5) at Sainsburys. Also, when I went last week Costco had loads of fresh pasta and part baked rolls but none today.
475 dead today in Italy.
No briefing today?
Christ, that's a ramp.
I did buy a MASSIVE pizza at Costco for dinner tonight though.
There are soldiers on the Polish border now.
We cannot let it get to that stage. Lock it down, test and grab any extra doctors you can kidnap.
It's brutal. Absolutely brutal.
And we are 2 weeks away?
People still not taking it seriously. Got told today about some old cunt who spent a week in Spain got back a few days ago and went shopping despite him and his wife coughing with a high fever.
Walked out one of the builders merchants today because the guy at the till was coughing loads.
I wonder when the penny will drop.
It's going to be horrendous when the UK hits properly.
Italy went from 79 deaths to 107 on March 3/4. 2 weeks.
We're going to lose parents. Fuck.
Gary Neville opening his hotel up to NHS workers for free. Some bloke.
These scientists are delusional and are now seemingly positioning by claiming this staggered approach, potentially on this timescale, was always the plan to avoid the inevitable lynching when this is over.
There aren't enough ventilators/ICU beds, people are not listening to the advice and it's spreading rapidly. Pinning hopes on a test that shows whether you've have it could also be the new "herd immunity".
Italy's 'curve' is fucked though. I know every country has it's own problems, but is anyone trying to help them? Or is critical care capacity not something that is easily lent or even borrowed? How do you get the people to Germany, where they seem to have, at the moment, space to cope? European friends and partners feels like it's gone out of the window and it's everyone for themselves at this point.
So at 4pm today the boss finally called a staff meeting. He handed out a memo with yesterday's date on it and references to 7 day self isolation (gov advice is now 14).
The result: carry on as normal. Only work from home if you are self-isolating or have unavoidable childcare issues. Otherwise, we don't want you working from home. Hand sanitiser is provided. Wash your hands. If you get the virus, you have 3 days' sick pay as per your contract, and for the rest of your self isolation you can take holiday or go onto SSP.
Fucking hell.
Too many of them, Giggles.
She's got a fucking cough.
I'm far from excited. It's going to be worse than I thought.
You simply can't stop it with this sort of approach.
I think now it might genuinely kill the economy, which will kill people, in addition to the tens/hundreds of thousands it's going to kill directly/indirectly.
I hate this fucking prick. Look at him joking around and smirking.
My boss had sent us a whatsapp last week just to say not to be worrying that in the short to medium term there will be no affect on wages no matter what takes place. But ‘medium’ is a bit of a ‘how long is a piece of string’ type thing.
Hopefully if we do go on the sick pay from the welfare I’ll still be able to use the van as I don’t have a car or my own.
It's younger indeed, but there's something that's also odd in the numbers that means that that stance doesn't reassure me much.
I can't work out what it is, but why is it still not killing more people in Germany? Why was the Diamond Princesses' death rate lower than it should have been? Why is it wiping Iran out at a rate of knots? Why are/were half the people in ICU in France under 50?
It doesn't stack up.
Is there any breakdown on demographics for the Italians who croak?
