+1 on America being the home of pizza
+1 on America being the home of pizza
Dirty pizza > poncy pizza
Team Ponce on this one. If you want to eat thick sliced bread with a heart attack on it, just put a McDonald's on some Hovis. The sort of pizza you're all on about should be renamed American Wankbread.
I've just googled Big Mac Toastie and I've not go the answer I was looking for.
+1 for whichever camp has thinner crust, 'deep dish' can do one.
Deep dish is disturbing.
Although I do like those frozen Chicago Town mini deep dish ones.
Deep dish is great but you almost can’t call it pizza. Its a totally different experiment
They’re all the same basic style. The Americans are miles ahead of them.
Fucking hell, Asda are miles ahead of them.
I would have thought the fact that there can be vast differences in quality between things of the same basic style was a fairly well established concept.
Good Italian pizzas aren't horribly floury.
I’m proud to be on Team Ponce with Jimmy. A thick doughy crust with 2 inches of shit on top is fine, and I’ll eat it happily (because pizza is delicious), just not my favourite.
It’s unfortunate you had something that was over-floured and under-seasoned, Giggles. Done right the base/topping balance is usually great.
The style of bread used in Italian style pizza is not to my liking regardless.
I'm not a big fan of Neopolitan pizza but Roman is good.
I might order some American wankbread tonight or a kebab. Fancy the latter.
I’m making (thin crust) pizza in honour of Giggles.
That tray of meat is Goatse.

Thin crust is good so long as it’s light and not like floury leather.
I spent 50 quid on Chinese. Half was good. Half was crap.
The Chinese food they do on continental Europe is, on the whole, utter shite.
Actually, yeah - I’ve had Chinese food in Switzerland. It was crap.
Chinese takeaway here is brilliant. Yeah it’s nothing like the food they eat in China, but I don’t want the food they eat in China.
Continental Europe, stand down, this is not our fight.
Great Chinese food in the UK, both of the actual Chinese and takeaway variety. Unsure about Ireland.
Italy was always toss. Switzerland was toss (although I was in a small mountain town, so my sample size is small). Spain was toss.
There's loads of good pan-Asian food. I'm in a city where 43% of the population are foreign. Luca judging a nations takeaway situation from a town half way up a mountain is poor form.
My old favourite was Mike Wong.
Yes that is a Nike swoosh and an upside down McDonalds M you see.
It shut down recently when their illegal immigrant staff asked for a raise so he shipped them all to the authorities and closed his doors.
Chinese food is rubbish. If it wasn't, why would they rather eat living shit-fed mice?
Heard the batburgers are good.
Had some breaded mushrooms today. Like, I enjoyed them at the time but I don't think I'll grab them again. I feel like they need something with the mushroom otherwise it's kinda bland.
Nah, just mushrooms and breadcrumbs. They had a serving suggestion of draping garlic sauce over it but I had nowt in.
Deep fried mushrooms need a garlic or maybe tartare-style dipping sauce.
I never seen them without being garlic.
The missus wants to order from this pizza place cos they also sell waffles.
Choose me a kebab, lads: https://www.just-eat.co.uk/restauran...st-helens/menu
I’m thinking chicken and doner on a naan.

Do they do those munch boxes you fellas all seem to get up there? Get one of them.
Munchie is always the way.
Not an option. I literally sent a link to the menu.
Chicken and doner naan it is. Not sure if them spelling it as donna is a good or bad sign.

I'm sure it's what Donna would have wanted.
Minus the chicken and double the Donna.
Might get a Donna tonight. Uber eats has a 50% off on.
And mini fillets with chips.
I’m buying nothing from a takeaway for the foreseeable.
I was thinking that as well tbh. Balance between looking after the local economy and not dying.
I’ve been informed they’ll leave it on my doorstep, knock and then leg it.

If the chef making it has got the corona then it's all game over anyway.
It came an hour early
