Hoping the trains get fucked over. It's Greater Anglia so there's probably a train in the Orwell by now.

Went out to do the groceries at 8. Fucking hell it’s ropey on the high junctions, especially in a van.
Put some ear plugs in last night and still didn't sleep a wink.
Storm at full tilt in West Yorkshire. River banks bursting, towns flooding, the usual.
Man City game called off. Is it really that bad? It's just a bit of wind.
Yes it's that bad.
It doesn't seem to be here. Woke up this morning and the worst damage was the black bin had moved to the other side of the drive but everything else intact.
I was going to watch some arrivals at Heathrow on youtube but apparently the weather's murdered their stream.![]()
One fence panel gone this morning. I expect more to be missing when I get home.
I'm a twit
Wind's getting up a bit here but the trampoline and all other children garden shit still unmoved.
3/10
Also, if the Sheffield Utd game goes ahead then City have simply called this off opportunistically as they don't fancy playing in the wind (not something they would be alone in doing).
Yep, definitely not because it could potentially mean a three week break since their last match, that's not something Man City would do. No, siree.
If Klopp had the chance to call off a game for wind he'd do it quicker than you could say gegenpress.
It's also not the club, let alone the manager, who decides whether games are called off so you can put your tin foil hats away for now.
Just seen a man waxing his car!
How did he get hair on it?
This has caused a transatlantic flight to arrive in New York 1hr and 20mins faster than its usual time, breaking the record for travel from one side to the other at just under 5 hours.
If you're going the other way it's adding on over 2 hours to avoid the worst of it as well.
That is nuts.
Not much happened where I live until about midnight, when the wind went cray cray. My bins are somehow still where I left them mind. Good bins.
It’s working now. Some are fairly hairy.
God knows what it's like for the passengers.

Yeah, this is the best of 'em. Almost home and then gunned it out of there.

Alright, the wind can fuck off now.
It can't make up it's mind here, one minute the wind is blowing horizontal sheets of rain across the sky and the next it's bright sunshine and calm as you like.
The one good thing about Exeter was that the landscape was arranged in such a way that you could see both the current weather and the weather in an hour's time. Often they were both rain, but it beats Michael Fish.
Fair slap of snow in the south west here today. I was near booking a hotel in Limerick earlier but I got out.
Finally some proper snow up here.
I know I should be used to it by now but the 11 straight days of rain is starting to fucking annoy me.
Probably not the correct thread but for a few weeks now, there has been a super bright star that seemed out of place near the moon. Much larger and brighter than anything else in the sky. Turns out it is actually the planet called Venus.
And a storm every weekend for the last 11 years.
I moved into my flat in October and I don't think I've yet seen the outside balcony/terrace thing not drenched in water. It's been a joke.
Hopefully means a good summer to come, weather tends to get bored after a while.
It's killing my football teams season. We're basically running out of weekends to complete the season so will end up with back to back games (2*60 minutes v the same opposition) or midweek. One team in the league has 1 game left to our 9.
It’s a lovely morning here. Hopefully the storm stays in the west.
We're the bottom team here: http://fulltime-league.thefa.com/Pro...League=9031785
Few of my old classmates in that OH side. Those names were very good players in schooldays so guessing the standard is decent.
Enjoying the spread of goal averages in that league table. Economicals living up to their name, whilst Jimmy's mates see six goals a game. Simply must make it down to one of their games some time.
Old Hampts first team are great. They have David Gill's son at the back.
A picture from today with both mine and oh first team

The library pitch. Didn't know they'd 4G'd it over. Used to be a nice cavern effect in there when we (not me, evidently) played the big cup ties against posh schools with the road to the left, girls' school behind you and kids in uniform lining the far touchline. In 2005 we had a 0-0 national semi final there on a soggy bog of a pitch and then got through the shootout (thanks to our keeper who went on to play National League) into the final at the Walkers Stadium, where we were torched by a better-resourced public school.
First team cricket square is right on the line of the nearest yellow player's head as we look - that's where players like Zafar Ansari and Toby Roland-Jones came up - and beyond that there are a shit ton of rugby pitches and the old boys' clubhouse way in the distance (no licensed bar, so they just keep cans of Fosters in a fridge). Next to that is the state school which in my day was rough and they used to throw flaming cans of deodorant and things like that over the fence at us. Probably lovely people now.
It's currently 2-1 to the mighty onions.
She’s raw here now.
Now it fucking snowing.
What a difference a month makes, it’s glorious here! Lay in the sun getting my end if the world tan sorted.
A hot one tomorrow, boys.
I think I’ll be participating in my three Teams meetings from the garden.
I'm a twit
I've booked a days holiday. Barbecue will be out. Beer is ready in the fridge.
I've got quite a bit on at work this week for a change but I'm praying I can get on with it in the morning so that I can get out there early and burn like a Grenfell immigrant![]()
