Since the Warnock comments I drew again then failed to win the World Clup thingy. Thankfully after that we returned to winning ways by beating City away.

Full game is now out.
Caved and bought it Saturday. Already through a season and about 10 games into season 2 with Crewe.
Got it for £28 from CDKeys. Any decent tactics out yet?
Where is the cheapest place to buy FM20?
I'm a twit
Playing mobile, standard Arsenal save first up. Managed to pip United to 4th and beat them in the Europa League final having spunked £55m on Declan Rice. Christmas in second season now, got Haaland for £90m then realised I have too many strikers, tried playing 3 outright strikers and did a Spurs, tweaked it back slightly and am now top 6 and escaped a tasty CL group with Napoli and Dortmund. See how long until I get bored before I fire up a 30 season Barrow marathon
Who's got the best logo pack?
Nope. FM19 graphics work just fine.
A lot of places shit the bed this year because clubs are a lot more on it with copyright, Juventus not being named correctly for instance. There is even an 'Arsenal Edition' you can pay extra for so all player pics, club crest and kits are accurate. Not sure what other clubs are. As such people are more reluctant to make or host logo packs. I got an alternative one for mobile which looks good.
My Arsenal save I got sacked in the third season before Christmas. Sold old Aubameyang to Chelsea for £40m, Özil left on a free having been player of the year the season before but refusing to sign a contract. I tried to focus on youth but results were all over the place so can't complain really. Might start another one at some point going for more established talent.
Not sure whether to go for a challenge save, Journeyman career or hometown club save next.
Is there an edition between the full one and the mobile one any more? I think it was called Touch.
Yup. You get Touch for free when purchasing the main game.
Enjoying this. After winning the league with Arsenal in 2021, I finished second to an undefeated Liverpool who conceded 6 goals all year the next season. The answer for this year? Replace Lacazette with Mbappé. £160m + Torreira and a near 500k per week contract is all it took.
That sounds quite quite broken.
They are ridiculously OP. Also look at Bernardo Silva's stats, fucking insane.
Liverpool are fucking filth on my saves, always win the league early by a massive gap.
Got binned on my Arsenal save, now doing proper unemployed unknown unqualified journeyman long haul save. Got a job at York City in september, now top of the league in February after my free transfers turned out to all be better than the current squad. Interested to see what the step up is like.
This Chelsea save that I'm on is a dumpster fire. Most of the squad are out injured and half of the squad hates my living guts.
On the plus side plodding along in the Champions League and trying to get top 4-6 in the Premier League. Reece James is a solid starter right from the get go but that still doesn't sort out my fucking wing back problem.
Started an unemployed unqualfied no rep save. Got a job at York, got them promoted, took a job a league up at Newport, got them promoted. Par for the course all my best players were cherry picked and I was relegated. Before the end of that season though I was offered a job with the marginally better Carlisle. Took that job but think it's gonna be an Unai Emery effort as my 'best' team is piss poor in terms of performance if not stats and any decent transfers either want too much, or don't want to come on loan at all. Think I might be plying my trade somewhere else shortly.
Took my Southport side up
Season is now finished, was waiting for the playoffs and stuff.
I'll spoiler the rest

Nice, good job in that league.
I am still in my journeyman career although have been at Doncaster for a few years now, got them in the Prem finishing 1 point out of the european places in the first season. Highlight dramatically was going to Birmingham last day of Championship season with them 1 point ahead of me to be top of the table and winning 3-2 having been behind twice to win the league and automatic promotion (chasing pack were so close a loss would have bumped me to a play off berth).
Anyone played/playing this on the Switch? Is that version any good?
It's shit and part of the reason I fucked the Switch off all together. FM Touch on the hole is a shower of shit.
Took over Brentford in October of the first season with them in 23rd, led them to the playoffs and somehow battered Stoke 8-2 in aggregate. Around March I'd requested the youth recruitment get beefed up with the promise that I'd look to bring youth players into the first team, turned out they meant immediately as I was sacked for not doing so the day before the playoff final, which the caretaker then won to take them up.
Just been rejected by Forest due to my complete inexperience with getting teams promoted, lovely stuff.
Where's the cheapest place to pick this up right now?
Caved and bought it, started the traditional Man Utd game.
Raided Leverkusen for Havertz and Bailey. Also bought in a left-back called Rayan Ait-Nouri who the scouts raved about.
Managed to bin off Rojo, Matic and Young from the dross pile.
I see high tempo tactics still produce a millions 1-on-1s where your strikers turn into complete retards. Cool.
For years they've had the problem of too many chances created and therefore the 1 on 1s need to be saved in order to keep the goal tallies down.
Random FM question. I've basically always had no youth squad or youth coaches, and just put them all in the first team with "available for 90 mins" for the u23 games etc. Is there any reason I shouldn't be doing this? Easier to build one massive group of good coaches.
Do they not all get the arse ache about lack of 1st team minutes.
Journeyman save is now in the year 2040 and after a bad start a few seasons in to my Doncaster tenure they binned me off the ungrateful fucks so I took a sabbatical with Rayo Vallecano, in my second season Leeds came knocking in the relegation zone with a £50m transfer kitty. Since then I have won the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League with them, but whenever I get a good run of form going in the league I invetiably end up drawing 10 games in a row then can't make up the lost ground. In my time at Leeds I have turned down Inter, Roma, Napoli and Juventus. Thinking if I don't win the league this season I will look for a final move before the game presumably retires me.
I feel like form is overpowered in this edition. If you lose 3 games in a row because you have Liverpool, City and Barcelona in a row, then you can bet your arse Yeovil will be turfing you out of the FA Cup in the next game.
My second season with Southport and we got beat in the first round of the playoffs. Gutted. Better just aim to win the league next season.
I got this now and started my annual save with Arsenal. Doing alright, haven't really done any signings in the first window which is a first, and I'm actually somehow managing playing with a 4-2-3-1 with an AMC which, amazingly, finds use for Ozil.
Though as always with that formation, while my results are good I always struggle to get the most out of the 3 AMs and especially the AMC, so really I think I'll try to go towards a more traditional 4-1-2-2-1 (4-3-3).
I just find it works better when the midfielders have a little space to run into.
@DS ok whats the cheat throw in this year? I'm not doing too well

I've started a Bolton save as they have a 12 point deficit at the start of the season and a supposedly weak squad. It's surprisingly easy. 5 wins on the trot and I'm in the top half of the table.
