Blimey.
The head is fairly weak on it and it’s a darker colour than it’s meant to be. It’s also under carbonated but I’ll hopefully sort that with a batch prime today (wouldn’t want a big fizz in stout anyway).
What the...
I love it!

That should be restricted to about 12 - 4pm Monday to Thursday. Anybody doing that shit when there's people just in need of a pint needs smashed over the head with a bar stool.
Siren Broken Dream. Oh God yes.

Had a can of this tonight and it's rather brilliant. I'd drink it all night if it weren't £4 a can (from the shop(!)).
Beer wankers need to go to the Mikkeler brewery bar in Copenhagen. They've got about twenty beers on tap and each one is the best thing you've ever tasted. We went there every night we were in town. Spent an utter fortune mind.
Few cans of Brewdog East Coast Crush I got cheap from a bargain shop on the way home from work. Cupvoard is loaded with all the bourbon under the sun but reluctant to start on that as I am on it tomorrow night and struggle to do two days running these days.
Samuel Smiths India Ale is a thing of beauty.
I bought of a 6 pack earlier which appears to have been glued together.
I don't know if this is normal now, but if this is the price to be paid for not wiping out all animal life on earth, then I think it's too high a price to pay.
A lot are going glue and some have a cardboard thingy holding the cans together. Like everything, it’s all lip service and some promotion.
A mate of mine is mad into the oatmeal stout so when I dropped him over a case of home brew the other day he had a whole assortment of Smiths for me, as I can’t get it locally. He got me a few oatmeal (smooth as fuck), a nut brown ale (very nice ), organic chocolate stout (too chocolatey), India ale (immense), and a couple of imperial stout I’m saving up. Savage brewery. I normally try but Irish in good and drink but this lot don’t make it easy.
I was pleased to learn one day that despite being otherwise all in Yorkshire they actually have one bar in Scotland but it turns out it's part of a hotel outside Edinburgh and I'm never ever going to go there, which was disappointing.
Aren't there loads of Sam Smith's pubs all over the place?
I must have been into half a dozen in London alone.
Can't find the thing on my phone. Maybe it's just that they're not in Scotland other than that one, then. Either way I personally am unlikely to get to one any time soon.
He makes good beer for a trans.
The Smiths imperial is seriously good.
A couple of lads dragged me into IPA life. I am dead,
Christ hell fuck. Those IPAs are all nice but fuck devoting a night to them. 343 was decent. Next time I'm sticking to Birra Moretti or whatever.
Wicklow Wolf have made a dry Irish stout from this year from their annual locavore hop harvest and it’s savage. So much better than the rye ale they did last year.
Got a 0.3% beer in a mystery box off Beer Hawk, but by Mikeller so I was curious. Might be the best nearly-no alcohol beer I've had. Like a spiced winter ale thing and it's surprisingly tasty.
A large portion of my works Christmas do is in one of those shed things near the Christmas markets (in Liverpool) so it looks like I’m on Camden Pale Ale for most of the night.
I'm a twit
Are the company buying the drinks? Because fucking buying that at Christmas market prices.
Nope.
It’s actually not that bad.

At least they make sure you drink 'an excellent quality liquid'.
Hold up, they're not doing ANY German beer on draught?
For shame, Bar Hütte.
I'm hoping there's more.
'Else I might just end up slurping limoncello off skis all night.

Also, this shed thing was booked under the pretence of it being a private karaoke booth but since paying it has come to light that it’s “carolokee” singing Christmas carols. I’m not exactly a karaoke fan (done it once, a long time ago) but it would have at least been something entertaining to do with colleagues, but Christmas carols? C’mon!
I'm a twit
Yeah that sounds shite. Even it being limited to Christmas pop songs wouldn't been AS bad.
Whoever booked that needs banned from making group decisions forever.

We're doing the Crystal Maze in London. Anyone been?
I'm sure somebody was telling me they did a Crystal Maze Live recently and that it was great fun, can't remember which one it was though.
They tried book that here for a summer night out last year but once 3/4 of us came up with excuses not to go at all they just put it back to finger food and pints.
My brother in law got an extra discount from the Brewdog store for Black Friday to the tune of 30% off. So one of the ones I got was their Sunmaid Stout, a rum and raisin Russian Imperial. And it is glorious stuff.
Ha!
I can't really remember, and I'm sure there are better ways to find out than asking me. Something like £50 a person maybe? It is decent, but you don't really get to do much (maybe a couple of games each).
Brewdog opened here this weekend. I doubt I’d ever set foot in it but it’s some size of a spot.
