Yeah, but you will throw it away.
Yeah, but you will throw it away.
Perhaps but when you've failed to win it because of a 'slip' or a season in which you hit 97 points and still don't then it kind of prepares you for anything calamitous.
Anyway, in case anyone is interested.
Group A (Rome, Baku): Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, Wales
Group B (St Petersburg, Copenhagen): Russia, Denmark, Belgium, Finland
Group C (Amsterdam, Bucharest): Netherlands, Ukraine, Austria (Georgia, Kosovo, Belarus, North Macedonia)
Group D (London, Glasgow): England, Croatia, Czech Republic (Scotland, Israel, Norway, Serbia)
Group E (Bilbao, Dublin): Spain, Poland, Sweden (N Ireland, Bosnia, Slovakia or Ireland)
Group F (Munich, Budapest): Germany, France, Portugal (Iceland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary)
Are we basically hosting this tournament by stealth?
Given 4 of 6 groups have a 3rd place team going through, the group stage seems absolutely pointless.
Yeah, was like that last time, it's wank. In theory a team with 1 point can go through.
Watching Eastleigh v Crewe with no VAR is so refreshing.
England have gone outright fav on Betfair.
B.Munich are losing 2-1 at home vs Leverkusen with two counter-attacks FIFA goals from Leon bailey. B.Munich has been wasteful and have missed several open goal chances.
If we can produce Shakespeare, Attenborough and our NHS I think we can beat some stinking continentals on the soccer field.
Thought that first Southampton goal looked a bit handy at first glance. More top work fro the VAR mob.
It's seasons like this I absolutely hate due to us wobbling against relegation candidates and then rebounding to bork a top side. I don't fancy getting much from Brammal Lane. Hell, Southampton at home's looking sketchy. Joe Linton's starting to look like the worst business this club has done in decades.
Mourinho looks happy. I suppose he can live at home now rather than in the Travel Tavern.
I'm fairly convinced this Mourinho is a body double, and the proper one is still just doing punditry for Russia Today and appearing in ads for gambling/online gaming/arms dealers.
It's something to do for 2 hours of a Saturday. EDIT: Nufc.com's advent calendar is off to a flyer.

I want to know who stood in for Albert Luque.

Bloody hell who designed that website?
Christ, is that the official club site?
https://www.nufc.co.uk/ is the official site
Quique Sanchez Flores has been sacked. Again.
Gracia in.
Jeonbuk won the K.League title today. Going into the last game, leaders Ulsan needed just a point at home to their rivals Pohang - they were beaten 1-4.
Jeonbuk won 1-0 to win the title by scoring 1 more goal than Ulsan, after finishing level on 79pts.
Get VAR in the fucking bin. Arsenal player was as far forward as anyone else.
Absolute joke decision.
Doing the big bollocks shushing Tim Krul too when you’re part of such an absolute waste of space you’ve just had your manager sacked
I generally think England have gone off roughly the correct price for the last few tournaments, having gone off too short through most of the previous decade. I thought they were value at the last world cup.
It's pretty early days though and the Betfair market will be mostly UK money so maybe they are too short and will drift.
England are pretty good though.
Arsenal hardman Kolasinac with blonde tips
What are you basing that on? He's the one manager who has come closest in 30 years.
How come Utd aren’t on?
Thats outrageous from Grealish
Did yesterday's result not excite you? We've had some proper big wins over the last few years. We just can't reliably build on it. And ... the threat of relegation at least adds something to it.
Up to 5th, somehow
I didn't realise what had happened until the evening. Anyway, I find it impossible to enjoy a win/good result under these circumstances. I was happy for the Longstaff brothers in the win over Man Utd, but that was it. There is no long-term success under this regime and a stand needs to be taken.
