Midsommar is a must watch.
Midsommar is a must watch.
That looks like some weird Get Out mode.
I enjoyed Creed 2, even if it's not as good as the original. Pretty sure he'd be dead, mind. It felt like a bit of a Rocky-by-numbers but I like Stallone and Jordan. And of course big Dolph.
I also rewatched the original Terminator film for the first time in years. So good.
Any decent SciFi film aorth watching. I thought the day the earth stood still and war of the worlds were good but everyone else thought they are fucking shit
I haven't seen it yet but Ex Machina is meant to be very good.
It is superb. I love it.
Moon is good, too.
Moon is ace. Arrival is obviously good too. Sunshine is a personal favourite.
Haven't seen Moon or Ex Machinima so ill add them to the list. I Picked a random and its John Wick One.
Watched Us this afternoon. Bang average, much like Peele’s previous work Get Out.
Didn't make it through john wick. It's like ive seen it before, but it was played by a man from Asia who lost his elephant.
I cant watch moon with that weirdo's voice as the computer
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is going to divide people. I loved it, but I'd say you need decent knowledge of the Manson Family and their crimes going into the film.
Any good documentaries to get up to speed?
Watched the new Avengers.
Absolute drivel for cunts.
Watched Rampage with The Rock. It passed the time while being much better than it had any right to be.
Is it worth watching the goalkeeper?

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is easily Tarantino's second worst film after Death Proof. That doesnt make it a bad film, it still has fantastic stand out moments but the first two hours is incredibly self indulgent and a meandering mess, with a couple of great scenes.
The final 40 minutes or so is up there with the best work he's ever done. Came away disappointed as I generally love his work.
I'm well aware of Manson/Tate/Polanski and while I understand why two of them weren't in the film that much, more than half the movie has absolutely fuck all to do with that scenario and feels like an excuse for Tarantino to indulge in tedious tangents.
Oh and that Ex Machinima was madness.
Good madness? I still need to watch it.
I think I'll give Once Upon a Time on Hollywood a miss if it's worse than The Hateful Eight.
Nope. The second and third Matrix films were pure bilge.
Plus, you know...Toggle Spoiler

That is bound to be complete shit.
I saw Cold War and I thought it was pretty fantastic.
I forgot they're now the Wachowski sisters. Lol.
I didn't even know that. Lol indeed. I mean, you go girls!
Sorry To Bother You. What the fuck
And, Death Proof has that scene
Not that I've seen Once upon a time in hollywood.
But apart from that, my personal view is that Tarantino peaked with Kill Bill and has gone downhill since then. It's just too much slow talking in his later films (I know that's his thing, but for me it just gets a little bit too much). I couldn't get through Django, for instance, as I just got bored of it eventually.
The whole thing is an excuse to film women’s feet.
Saw a couple of mamet belters last couple of days. State and main and glengarry glen ross. Both great.
Watched the two Creed films over the past two nights. Second one is exceptionally bad.

Is that the Batman Joker? Because they’re in for some fair copyright if not.
You can't be serious.
I presume it is as it all looks very similar right, but it doesn’t look to match any backstory that I’ve ever seen for the character (though I never read the comics).
I'm pretty sure they've made a new story outside of the DC comic universe for that film.
About time they re-made The King of Comedy.
It's non-canon.
They've also called him Arthur Fleck (A.Fleck, jab at Affleck?) despite The Joker actually having no name.
I just can't believe they've got Johnny Cash to star in it. Such range.
That can go lie in it’s piss then.
Looks dreadful.
