How do you get to 2019 without having seen Office Space?
How do you get to 2019 without having seen Office Space?
What film that you loved has aged the worst?
I watched Human Traffic a few years ago after it being a big highschool/uni fav back in the day. I got to this scene and turned it off out of cringe.
NICE ONE BROTHER!
Nice BRUVVV
I'm a twit
I’ve just watched Detective Pikachu. What a dreadful movie. The CGI absolutely sucks, the story is just dumb and boring, and if you don’t like Ryan Reynolds there is literally nothing to enjoy.
I'm a twit
I didn't think they did it that bad from a live action point of view.
The story was meh, but it is aimed mainly at kids after all. I can imagine it would have been a much worse experience without Reynolds though.
Spiderman is good. Thought the main plot point was going to piss me off for being too stupid but they did it really well tbh.
What's the main plot point?
Theres a guy that's part spider.
I've so many replies but I can't form them into a sentence.
I thought the new Spider-Man followed the last one in being generally meh but salvaged by the villain.
Oh dear.
Horror. It'll make billions.

Natalie Portman to be Jane Foster Thor, Shang-Chi film announced, The Eternals officially confirmed and the Black Widow film has been confirmed.
Also alluded to Black Panther 2, Guardians 3, Captain Marvel 3, new Fantastic 4 and something to do with Mutants (X-Men).
Plus the biggest news, Mahershala Ali as the new Blade.
Which no one is making you watch or comment about
People who hate Marvel > Marvel fanboys.
Nah, it's a fair point. The machine never ends.
Four films and the rest of them are on Netflix Disney.
Amazing.
Blade
I just dont like how it's been legitimized. I am rightly mocked for enjoying professional wrestling as a grown up and marvel fans should be marginalised in the same way.
"but they're really well done", my ass. Absolute state of the dialogue.
Mission Impossible Rogue Nation is both insanely watchable and forgettable.
It won't conclude until it stops making money.
There's a sort of Geek Pride vibe that sustains these things. I stand with jocks everywhere.
That's what sustains basically everything when it boils right down to it.
marvel films are just bad dreamworks films, but the annoying, underdeveloped characters making wise cracks with raised eyebrows are live action superheros blowing stuff up instead of animated farm animals trying to escape from a circus or some shit, discuss
You are incorrect.
Next question.
fair play
Not sure what to make of Tarantino's new movie from the trailer.
Interesting that he's seemingly managed to get Di Caprio under his wing though.
I can't wait, it looks incredible.
Spotted that The Dark Tower is on Netflix.
I can't remember if anybody else here has read the books so I won't go into my ramblings about why it's terrible as an adaptation but even just as a film in it's own right it's a load of shite.
Hobbs & Shaw is belting.
I've never seen a Fast and Furious film but that looks fun.
Sort your life out and address that immediately. You can skip 2,3 and 4.
Watched that film about the black cop infiltrating the KKK a few days ago.
Proper shit.
However, rewatched saving private Ryan and was reminded just how good that was. Top film.
They changed from being about racing to just being all out action, didn't they? At what point did that happen? I couldn't give a shit about cars.
I'm guessing Fast Five was when the shift happened. I think that was The Rock's first one.
Awful film made good by the incredible retcon job they did in 7. You shouldn’t have to sit through it to get to Five but by the time you finish Eight you’ll end up going back to it with a better mindset.
No spoilers but said retcon job is why I refuse to go see Hobbs & Shaw and take a dislike to Eight.
Watch them all, they're savage.
I worked with 3 birds that had a memorial vigil for Paul Walker. They probably haven't been able to shag their husbands since.
Watched a star is born tonight and really loved it. Lady gaga is a surprisingly good actress.
Watched Overlord last night and it was nuts. Wasnt expecting anything like it.
