It all seems like-for-like with supermarket brands, since their premium meat is just as expensive as what Asda have.

Aldi has been making inroads into the USA and revolutionizing the American South, or so I've heard
Imagine not shopping at Publix.
No idea what that is
I'm a bit put off by Aldi/Lidl as I see them as Netto-copies.
They're probably much better than that though.
My local Lidl bakery is awesome. Can’t say I do much more than load up on pastries when I’m in there though.
They build a Lidl right by my house. I walk past it and right through their car park to go to Tesco....
lol at all the people piddling over 20 quid on their weekly shop. There's less of a price difference between my daily vs your weekly. Paid all this money but it all goes on just fucking exisiting.
Shut up then.
20x52 is 1040 which works out to about $1264 a year ffs. Starting to rethink my own shopping habits thanks to phonics.
Don't do that or you'll never have any fun again. I worked out I spent around 6 thousand a year on beer and cigarettes (not including going out) which works out at nearly 8% of my yearly spending and that helps no-one.
edit: Did a bit of 'gross' math and that works out at slightly over 18% of my available money and that's without the drugs. Jesus, maybe I just need a rehab clinic and a 401k.
Aldi over here seems pretty cheap, but everything also looks complete crap. Like, worse than Walmart crap. People claiming they have good stuff are fuckin' weirdos. Their meat in particular looks atrocious, I almost feel bad feeding my cats their chicken.
Then again, I never buy meat in the supermarket.
Don't choke on your granola mate.
Don’t tel me you hate granola too
Well nobody really likes it, do they?
As long as it’s sweetened with honey it’s fucking fire
Well that leaves mokkers in a very difficult situation anyway.
I've had it with yogurt when trying to be healthy, but I generally give up after a few days. I just find it boring.
The best ones are the clusters. I don’t know if they’re actually that healthy, given how sweet they can be, but god damn
I like the stuff with little bits of freeze dried fruit in them.
Granola isn't healthy but it is bloody good.
I hope the kid pulls through to grow up and push him back.
+1 for the granola love.
I'm a twit

McDonald's paper straws can't be recycled.
Last year, it axed plastic straws, even though they were recyclable, in all its UK branches as part of a green drive.
But the US fast food giant says the new paper straws are not yet easy to recycle and should be put into general waste.
Those paper ones are absolutely shit.
The whole straw madness has been pathetic.
Drinks taste better without straws anyway
I much prefer the paper ones. Down with plastic.
I can't stand the paper ones tbh.

A drug dealer in Brazil was caught trying to escape from the jail where he was locked up by disguising himself as his 19-year-old daughter.
Prison authorities in Rio de Janeiro released a video showing the inmate wearing a wig, a silicone mask, a bra and a tight-fitting T-shirt.
That video is great.
