He's signing tonight.
He's signing tonight.
Stunning. This will be insane.

Does anyone here live in Leeds? My family has partially relocated there for business reasons, and I'll probably be there (and at games) in the reasonably near future.
Think we have a couple these days. Hammer (Gavel) and I think Alex is close.
All of my family are still there but I don’t get back often
Moving to Leeds? Times must be tough.
Mert moving from some luxury, wealthy city in America to Harehills warms my belly for some reason.
Mert slaying bishes in Oceana.
Hammer is within walking distance.
Stones throw away. TTH meet? I'll bring the ball.
To clarify, I am not moving to Leeds, I am (as far as I can tell) secure for the medium term future slaving away my youth as a lawyer in the US. Without getting too specific, my family has some business they are conducting in the area for at least the next few years, so I might come and visit the city some time in the Fall. We have season ticket box seats at the stadium so I'll probably catch a game.
Will make sure to let TTH know when I'm in the area, and you all can see me get drunk and try to hit on girls in person.
How much for pakora?
How much for FGM?
Is your business venture in Holbeck?
Also, 'slaving away your youth' doesn't really fly when you're 27.
Well that's 'but a Kebab in Leeds' off my bucket list.
I'm still 26, and I've been slaving away since 24 (be gentle)
I had to google all of these references and still don't understand what Spikey is saying...
Where were your family based before?
RIP Mert.
But = buy.
Basically Bartyboy, There's not a Turk in the land that doesn't either own/work in a Kebab shop (nowt wrong there, by the way, I fucking love the gaffs) or a Barbers (again, nowt wrong there, when I wasn't follicly challenged, I went to 'Cousinz').
Now fess up, which is it?
I'll save the details for over a drink of whatever it is people drink in Leeds. Incentives and all that.
See you for a pint of Taddy, lad.
I haven't frequented a Sam Smith's in quite some time, but the last time I did that was about 2 quid a pint.
The TTH Leeds meet-up has got legs I reckon. We'll definitely be able to tie it in with a reasonably priced Leeds game too, when we inevitably bottle the playoffs.
Or, if by some miracle we do go up, we can all just live it large in Mert's families box. We've got all bases covered.
Was in the Angel last week, unreal cheap.
Up for a meet.
Yeah, I like The Angel!
You're in good pub territory around there. The Ship and Whitelocks are both great too.
Fuck man. Haven’t done those pubs in way too long
It’s always on the list when I visit home.
Also is it true people drink beer lukewarm? My Dad mentions this all the time...
No. It’s nonsense. They are some drinks (ales typically) that are served “cool” but warm beer is a no go.
At least from my experience before I moved and I am sure others will agree
All of the above pubs are confirmed within 10 minutes walking distance from where I would be staying
Get yourself to The Turk's Head. Think of the openers you could use.
What a wank name and wanky place. Is it actually part if Whitelocks or separate? Lol at the non-gender toilet as well.
Can we all agree to wear shirt, shorts and birkenstocks. Pastel colours only.
Cardigans draped over shoulders, chaps.
This Pontus to Brentford thing is just bizarre. I mean, he's obviously fallen out with Bielsa and/or Radrizzani and they've gone the "nobody is bigger than the club" route. I would obviously much rather he stay, but if Bielsa isn't of the opinion that he's part of the plan anymore then I'm happy to go along with whatever that man thinks.
It's the relative pittance of a fee and the destination that confuses me though. £5.5 million? I feel like we could have got (and possibly were turning down) more than double that this time a year ago, and probably from a Premier League club. I'm sure the contract has got plenty of time left on it too, so it's not that. It's just a really weird move.
He looks like he's absolutely no idea how this has just happened. Poor lad.
Roofe to Rangers is doing the rounds up here as well.
Is it something to do with the game against Villa? I reckon he went bat shit bonkers in the dressing room and went too far. I side with the defender in any case.
There's a lot of talk that the manager never really felt like he fit the "team first, get with the programme or get out" ethos, with the Villa thing being kind of emblematic of it.
There's a video doing the rounds that I saw today of him completely mugging the chairman off when he came out to shake everyone's hand in the tunnel after a loss away at QPR earlier in the season too.
It's a shame because he was great for us, and I'm really surprised at that sort of price that none of the teams who have gone up have taken him, if only for depth at the back. Regardless, Bielsa adds a lot more value than Pontus Jannson. So he had to go. Although for what it's worth Smiff, I agree with you on the Villa point. I was with him on that. I didn't think we should have let them equalise either. It was bollocks.
Meh. The fact he had offers from abroad but wanted to stay in England, and only Brentford came in says it all for me. Also Roofe isn't good enough.
At this point I think it's impossible to judge transfer fees. Is 10 million over the three years better than 5.5million this year? Does him going off the books this year change something FFP-wise? etc.
